*As occurred during the break between the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds of the tournament, the screen fades to black after an image of the crowd at the Riviera Casino, in Las Vegas, before transitioning to a shot of the Legends National Wrestling Alliance Saturday Main Event studio. LNWA Commissioner Teddy Long is standing behind a podium, ready to announce who will be participating in qualifying matches at this Saturday's Legends National Wrestling Association Main Event TV show for the LNWA National Title #1 Contender's Tournaments at this June's LNWA Pay Per View: #1 Contenders*

*Long looks down at his pad folio, before beginning to speak*

Teddy Long: Good evening wrestling fans! As I promised in between our quarterfinal and semifinal rounds you'd be hearing from me two more times tonight, regarding matches at our first LNWA Saturday Main Event TV show, coming to you live from The Fort Wayne Coliseum. After announcing the participants in two qualifying matches for the Legends National Wrestling Alliance TV Title Tournament, I am here now to announce the participants in two qualifying matches for our Legends National Wrestling Alliance National Title #1 Contenders Tournament, that will happen at this Sunday's #1 Contenders pay per view, live from the historic D.C. Armory!

*Long pauses to build suspense at the two matches he would be revealing.*

Teddy Long: Now, as you know, the runner up in the National Title Tournament, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes automatically qualified for the tournament after losing in the finals to our champion, "Macho Man" Randy Savage. The LNWA Board of directors, also decided to give an automatic birth in the tournament to Tully Blanchard. As was the same with the TV Title #1 Contender tournaments, the participants in the National Title #1 Contender Tournament qualifying matches will be comprised of a list of new comers and familiar faces. The wrestlers competing in two qualifying matches this Sunday are as follows:

Honky Tonk Man vs. "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka
Mr. Perfect vs. "The Total Package" Lex Luger

As I mentioned during my previous announcement, I will be announcing the tag teams that will be competing in our final qualifying match to determine who the four tag teams that will be competing in the World Tag Team Titles #1 Contenders tournament next Sunday at the LNWA #1 Contenders pay per view!

#2. Cactus Jack vs. #4. “Wild” Bull Curry in a Ladder Match

In a fantastic ladder match, Cactus Jack was able to win the match over “Wild” Bull Curry when he was able to climb the ladder and unstrap the Legends National Wrestling Alliance Special Matches Title in 17:11 after a DOUBLE-ARM DDT. The match was very back and forth, until Jack and Curry attempted to climb the ladder at the same time and Jack pushed Curry off the side of the ladder hitting a bulldog in the process. Curry also took some damage when he attempted to climb the ladder and Jack ran into it, knocking Curry off the top of the ladder and causing him to clothesline himself on the top rope. Jack made several attempts to get the belts but was pulled back down by Curry prior to hitting his DOUBLE-ARM DDT. Curry accumulated six fatigue tokens in the match, and Jack accumulated one. The screen faded to black from the from the legendary ECW Arena in Philadelphia, with Cactus Jack sitting on top of the ladder with his arms raised, holding the LNWA Special Matches Title and the fans in the arena chanting “CACTUS JACK; HE’S HARDCORE” over and over again.


*Following the Special Matches Championship match, the screen faded to black after a shot of the crowd at ECW Arena, in Philadelphia, and the next image on the screen was Legends National Wrestling Alliance Commissioner Teddy Long, who was, once again, live in the Legends National Wrestling Alliance Saturday Main Event studio.The commissioner, was standing behind a podium, ready to announce the final qualifying match for the LNWA World Tag Team Titles #1 Contenders tournament at next Sunday’s June pay per view.*

*Long smiles before beginning to speak*

Teddy Long: What a phenomenal match fans. We saw history occur tonight in ECW arena, when Cactus Jack became the LNWA’s first Special Matches champion, following a brutal ladder match. And, soon we will know who our first LNWA Women’s World Champion will be. But, before that happens, we have to find out who is going to be participating in the final qualifying match for the LNWA World Tag Team Titles #1 Contenders tournament at our June #1 Contenders pay per view.

*Long takes a moment to look down and shuffle some papers on the podium, before continuing.*

Teddy Long: Now, as you know as the runners up in the initial World Tag Team Title Tournament at our inaugural event, Demolition automatically qualified for the #1 Contenders tournament. Additionally, the LNWA decreed that The Road Warriors would be in the tournament as well, based upon their qualification one of the semifinal matches in that tournament. Earlier in the month to settle a feud, the LNWA Commissioner’s office scheduled qualifying match between The Fabulous Freebirds, and the team of Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brodie. The final qualifying match will be a four team elimination match at next Saturday’s LNWA Main Event. The match will include two recently signed teams as well as two existing teams. The match will be:

The British Bulldogs vs. The Midnight Express vs. Harlem Heat vs. The Steiner Brothers.

Teddy Long: So as you can see, our card for next Saturday’s LNWA Saturday Main Event is now set. You’ll be able to see it live at the Historic D.C. Armory, or this same television network!

*Screen fades to black and returns to The Riviera Casino in Las Vegas.*

#1. Fabulous Moolah vs. #3. Trish Stratus

Fabulous Moolah pinned Trish Stratus in 6:39 following the JACKKNIFE CRADLE. The match itself saw Stratus get some offense in, including a Stratusphere and a spinebuster, but she was unable to keep Moolah down. Moolah then surprised the crowd by hitting the JACKKNIFE CRADLE hold to pin Stratus following a knee drop. Stratus accumulated two fatigue tokens and the show faded to black with the referee handing Moolah the belt who cradled it in her arms, almost like a bouquet of flowers, as celebratory fireworks erupted from the Riviera Casino floor.
