Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - New York, USA, Earth - Card #15 – Niagara Tower of Lights


1) Renegade (Nereid, Neptune) defeated Vanity (Nereid, Neptune)

* The opening contest of a big night of action spotlighted a heated rivalry as Renegade took on Vanity. The flamboyant Vanity was accompanied by two female companions, hoping to empress his admirers with a victory. The two fought at an even pace until Vanity went for a gut wrench but Renegade countered out hitting a Double Knee Lift for double fours on the pin. It was a huge win for Renegade but his celebration was short lived as Killer Queen joined Vanity for a post-match assault until Beast-Rider made the save. Renegade was injured and had to be assisted out of the ring.

2) The Greek Gods defeated Society of Death by DQ

* The Greek Gods of Actagon & Proteus had their hands full taking on Society of Death members Mutant & Ghengis Khan. Nevertheless, the pair from Greece on Earth let their tag team skills speak for themselves as they dominated most of the way. Mutant survived an Overhead Toss by Proteus and then further showed his toughness and resilience by getting to the ropes as Actagon locked on the Grecian Sleeper Grip. This one ended out on the floor where Mutant was disqualified for delivering repeated chair shots to Proteus. The Greek Gods got the win but in the end the Society of Death sent them a message of brutality.

3) Wolf (Andromeda 13) defeated Red Talon (Andromeda 13)

* Mixing an irate Wolf, who was passed over for an opportunity at the GWF Heavyweight title, with an imposter member of the AniMen race in Red Talon seemed like a recipe for disaster. It was. Wolf, like many others in the GWF, have had their fill of Talon’s claims and he paid for it here. Talon controlled briefly at the onset but then Wolf took over and quickly locked on the Savage Face Claw resulting in a submission victory.

4) Thantos, Executioner & Death Knight defeated Omega, Commander Sam & Massif

* All hell broke loose in this six-man tag team match as Omega, Commander Sam & Massif of the Federation Defense Fighters faced a rogues gallery of Galaxian villains in the “Gamemaster” Thantos, Executioner & Death Knight. The referee had trouble controlling the action, especially due to the nefarious tactics used by Thantos and his men. That played into a heated finish as the Executioner used an Illegal Foreign Object on Omega and covered him for the pin.

5) Invincible Krakan (CTA-102) defeated Lord Nexus (Titan, Saturn)

* The rivalry between the Flying Titans and the Society of Death took center stage as their respective leaders, Lord Nexus and Invincible Krakan, squared off. Krakan was making his return after being injured by Nexus at Deimos 13 adding more heat to the battle. The injury seemed to affect Krakan as Nexus had control for a good stretch. A dropkick off the turnbuckle had Krakan reeling but a short time later he hit the Krakan Skullcrusher for a big near fall. That got Krakan back into it and, after a distraction by Mutant and Ghengis Khan, he caught Nexus with the Falling Face Slam to score the pin.

6) Titan Death Match: Killer Queen (Altair) defeated Duke of Destruction (Altair)

* Duke of Destruction has thus fair failed in his quest to prove to be the real leader of The Evil Ones including drawing the ire of Killer Queen. A devout follower of Exo-King, the acting leader of The Evil Ones, Queen took great pleasure when Exo-King beat Duke at Deimos 13 but then Queen himself lost quickly to the Duke at Deimos 14. That set up Queen challenging the Duke to a Titan Death Match, a match with no rules. This was a hard hitting bout but Queen, who showed his brutality earlier in the attack on Renegade, got the better of the Duke. The finish saw the Queen hit an Atomic Drop on the Duke for the pin picking up a huge victory over the alleged leader of The Evil Ones.

7) GWF Tag Team Titles: Gladiators of Aethra defeated Flying Titans© by DQ

* This rematch from the tournament final at Deimos 12 featured the Flying Titans, Pit Viper & Pulsar, defending the GWF tag team titles against the Gladiators of Aethra, Brue & Massacre. Many considered the Titans win an upset and the Gladiators were looking to prove that by winning the gold. Both teams fought at a furious pace in what was a great tag team battle. After the Gladiators took liberties with the rules earlier, including some violent attacks outside the ring, the Titans would gain revenge at a critical moment. Brute won a slugfest with Pit Viper and had him pinned after a Knife-Edge but Pulsar, clutching one of the title belts, came off the top rope breaking up the pin. The referee caught that and disqualified the Flying Titans, much to the dismay of the Gladiators, who had a successful version one defense of the titles.

8) GWF Heavyweight Title: Comrade Terror© (Cygnus) defeated Star Warrior (Cetus) to retain the title

* The main event was for all the marbles as Star Warrior took on Comrade Terror for the GWF Heavyweight title. It was “a real happening” as a legendary announcer once said with the Niagara Tower of Lights playing host to the big championship match. The intensity was off the charts by the time the two men locked up and this turned into an electrifying battle between champion and challenger. A key moment saw Star Warrior, a master of striking moves, have Terror pinned after a Running Star Blast but Thantos came out and interfered breaking up the pin. The referee immediately ejected him but the “Gamemaster” had made his presence known saving the championship.

Terror battled back and hit the dreaded Atomic Warhead on Star Warrior but Wolf unexpectedly ran out and broke up that pin. The referee ejected Wolf who howled in anger as GWF security struggled to get him to the back. The fight continued and, after some wild battles outside the ring, both were busted open. Star Warrior looked to take it with a cross body block but Terror somehow kicked out before the three count. The champion was no going to go down without a fight and he proved that as he survived another barrage of strikes. Terror ultimately regained control and caught Star Warrior in the Terror Face Claw. The referee checked for a response but got none and he called for the bell ruling Comrade Terror the winner via submission.

It was a successful version one title defense for Comrade Terror who was confronted by an angry Wolf post-match. Thantos showed up as well getting in between the two as Star Warrior recovered. Wolf demanded his title shot but Thantos denied it saying the next title shot was going to Commander Sam who scored a fall on the champion in a tag team match at Deimos 14. Wolf was beside himself and went for a punch but Star Warrior grabbed his arm. Thantos and Terror bailed out as Wolf became even more incensed.

Wolf went after Star Warrior but then Commander Sam ran in and pulled him off. Wolf turned around and blasted Sam with a big punch before trapping him in the Savage Face Claw. Star Warrior then dropkicked Wolf sending him out of the ring, saving Sam from potential injury. It was a wild turn of events as three popular stars wound up in an altercation based on all of them wanting the GWF Heavyweight championship.

Wolf became even more incensed after the show when the Galaxian Commission announced that he would be teaming with Star Warrior to face Thantos & Executioner in a tag team main event at Deimos 16. The thought of Wolf and Star Warrior having to work as a tag team adds even more intrigue to what could be an explosive rivalry.

Injury Report:

* Renegade of the Neptunian Space-Croppers suffered a neck injury courtesy of the attack by Killer Queen and Vanity after the opening match. His tag team partner, Beast-Rider, spoke on behalf of Renegade and said that they will seek vengeance against their rivals. Renegade is expected to miss at least the next two GWF cards due to the injury.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - Deimos - Card #16 - Intergalactic Arena


1) Red Talon (Andromeda 13) defeated Duke of Destruction (Altair)

* The opening contest between two of the most polarizing figures in the GWF was no contest. Red Talon blitzed the Duke of Destruction and, just a few moments into the match, he nailed him with a Beak Butt to score the pin. Talon enjoyed a post-match victory celebration while the Duke pondered what just happened. Talon then offered to shake hands and The Duke, after some urging from the crowd, accepted drawing cheers from the GWF universe.

2) Beast-Rider (Nereid, Neptune) defeated Vanity (Nereid, Neptune) by DQ

* Beast-Rider was looking to avenge the neck injury suffered by Renegade at Earth 15 as he took on Vanity, one of the perpetrators along with Killer Queen. This was a hard fought and fairly even bout until the finishing stretch where Beast-Rider hit the Bulldog Ride. Killer Queen ran down and broke up the pin resulting in a disqualification decision. Vanity and Killer Queen assaulted Beast-Rider post-match until Omega ran in leading to…

3) Killer Queen (Altair) defeated Omega (Cetus)

* As ringside officials ushered Beast-Rider and Vanity to the back, a fired up Omega went after Killer Queen getting this match off to an explosive start. Omega tore into Killer Queen with reckless abandon, perhaps too reckless. Queen bided his time against his veteran foe and late in the match twice locked on Checkmate for submission chances. It was a strain for Omega to get rope breaks and Queen took advantage culminating in him hitting an Atomic Drop for the pin. It was a huge victory for Killer Queen who has established himself as both a singles and tag team competitor.

4) Commander Sam (USA, Earth) defeated Death Knight (Altair)

* Preparing for his upcoming GWF Heavyweight title match with Comrade Terror, Commander Sam took on the tough Death Knight of The Evil Ones. The robotic medieval competitor is a tough draw for anyone as Sam found out in most of the early going. Death Knight was relentless in his attack but eventually Sam caught a break on a missed corner charge. After a second delivery of Sam’s Atomic Drop, Sam covered Death Knight for the pin giving him some momentum going into the big championship match at Deimos 18.

5) Flying Titans defeated Society of Death

* Anytime that the Flying Titans of Lord Nexus and reigning GWF tag team champions Pit Viper & Pulsar take on the Society of Death of Invincible Krakan, Mutant & Ghengis Khan a war is sure to break out. That happened here as all six-men left it all on the table in this explosive six-man tag team match. Both teams picked up a number of near falls during the bout which saw some brutal exchanges on the outside. Pulsar continued to show off his resilience as at one point he survived assaults from all three men, including kicking out after taking a Krakan Skullcrusher. Khan also impressed by kicking out of a Titan Drop by Nexus late in the bout. The finish saw Pit Viper hit Venom Blast on the fatigued Khan to score the pin picking up a huge win for the Titans over their rivals.

6) Gladiators of Aethra defeated The Greek Gods

* The well established rivalry between The Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, and the Gladiators of Aethra, Massacre & Brute, took on even more importance here. Prior to the match the Galaxian Commission informed both teams that the winners would face Pit Viper & Pulsar for the GWF tag team championship at Deimos 17. That led to an all out war with both sides launching bomb after bomb trying to gain the victory. The Greek Gods went to both the Grecian Sleeper Grip and the Overhead Toss of Proteus but were unable to win it. The Gladiators likewise hit big time moves like the Gladiator Piledriver and the Decapitator but only got close near falls. It was finally a second Decapitator hit by Massacre on Actagon that resulted in the pin. The Gladiators won it and earned the title shot, one they hope to turn into gold especially coming off of their recent disqualification win over the champions.

7) Massif (Ceres) defeated Exo-King (Altair)

* Another great rivalry was renewed as Massif took on his equally sizable foe Exo-King, the leader of The Evil Ones. This was another great war as both men looked to secure an all-important victory. Exo-King had a strong offensive late nearly putting Massif away with the flying body crusher and the King Power Slam. Massif persevered, though, and scored a near fall with a vicious head butt. Exo-King battled back and went for a corner charge but Massif avoided it and executed a Counter Roll-Up for a snake eyes pin. Death Knight entered the ring afterward and helped Exo-King attack Massif leaving him lying. When Massif recovered he demanded to face both men in a Handicap Match at Deimos 17, a challenge which was happily accepted by Exo-King.

8) Star Warrior & Wolf defeated Thantos & Executioner

* A heated tag team main event saw Star Warrior & Wolf face Thantos & Executioner. The only problem was that the heat was between Star Warrior and Wolf resulting from their recent bitter history over getting shots at the GWF Heavyweight title. In the case of Wolf, it was being passed over in favor of Star Warrior, and recently Commander Sam, for what he feels should be his title opportunities. Interestingly enough it has been Thantos, as spokesman for the GWF Heavyweight champion Comrade Terror, that has kept Wolf from getting those shots with the “Gamemaster” pulling the strings to make rivals out of Warrior and Wolf.

The intensity was off the charts for a match which came down to two major moves. Star Warrior hit the Nova Launch on Thantos but he kicked out just before the three count. Wolf then tagged himself in and caught Thantos in the Savage Face Claw winning it by submission as Warrior and Executioner fought outside the ring. Thantos disputed the call by the referee but the decision stood making Wolf and Warrior the winners.

Wolf then jumped to the outside tackling Executioner saving Warrior who was about to be put through a table. The two men then wound up clearing Thantos and Executioner away from ringside as the fans cheered. The rivalry was put aside but only for a brief moment as Wolf howled in victory before putting Star Warrior through the table with an atomic knee drop off the ring apron! It was a shocking end to the show but fortunately for Star Warrior he was not seriously injured. Instead, he called out Wolf when he recovered demanding a match at Deimos 18.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - Deimos - Card #17 - Intergalactic Arena


1) Vanity (Nereid, Neptune) defeated Omega (Cetus)

* The popular veteran Omega dominated much of this opening bout against Vanity but victory would elude him. It was a rope counter by Vanity that led to him hitting the Pulverizer but Omega impressively kicked out. Vanity followed up quickly, though, and hit a second Pulverizer to score the pin. Vanity celebrated with his female companions at ringside as the crowd jeered, knowing it was a big win for the pompous star from Neptune.

2) Red Talon & Duke of Destruction vs. Society of Death was a DDQ

* The unlikely team of Red Talon & Duke of Destruction faced Society of Death members Mutant & Ghengis Khan in tag team action. The Society of Death dominated most of the way, especially getting the heat on Talon. When Talon finally made a hot tag to The Duke he was surprisingly cheered by the crowd perhaps out of respect for his now failed but determined bid to take over The Evil Ones. The Duke nearly put Khan out with the Grip of Doom but ultimately all four men wound up fighting on the floor resulting in a double disqualification.

3) Killer Queen (Altair) defeated Beast-Rider (Nereid, Neptune)

* This match between fierce rivals Beast-Rider and Killer Queen ended in just two moves. With Beast-Rider distracted handling his animal as he tied his reigns to the ring post, the Queen jumped him and delivered a devastating neckbreaker. Killer Queen then used his robotic legs to lock on Checkmate and Beast-Rider was forced to tap out.

It was a big submission win for Killer Queen who gloated over the quick win over his rival. Beast-Rider recovered and drove Killer Queen out of the ring before revealing that Renegade has been cleared to return and that the Neptunian Space-Croppers were coming for Queen and Vanity.

4) Invincible Krakan (CTA-102) defeated Proteus (Greece, Earth)

* A real hard hitting bout between Proteus of The Greek Gods and Society of Death leader Invincible Krakan was up next. These two had a terrific battle which saw both men come close to victory. Krakan nearly won it with a 285-lb. cross body block from the top rope but Proteus kicked out. The crowd rallied behind Proteus as he staged a great offensive late but a counter by Krakan led to him hitting the devastating Falling Face Slam for the pin.

5) Lord Nexus (Titan, Saturn) defeated Executioner (France, Earth)

* The popular Lord Nexus of the Flying Titans had his hands full as he took on the Executioner, a rugged earth bound competitor from France. Nexus came out strong with a flurry of moves including the Titan Drop but Executioner was able to kick out. The masked man, known for his devastating Headsman Guillotine, offered up strong opposition late but a critical mistake saw Nexus surprise Executioner with a Counter Sunset Flip off the ropes for the pin.

6) Thantos (Maffei II) defeated Actagon (Greece, Earth)

* This anticipated singles bout saw Actagon of The Greek Gods go one-on-one with Thantos, The Evil Gamemaster and defacto head of the Galaxian Villains. Actagon is noted for his tag team wrestling but also seeks to excel in singles action when he is given the opportunity. This was a big test for the popular Greek star and Thantos relished the chance to knock him down. Actagon was up to the fight, however, as he took the fight to Thantos. Ultimately it was the Masterlock, the punishing submission hold of Thantos, that decided it as the “Gamemaster” scored a key victory.

7) Handicap Match: Exo-King & Death Knight defeated Massif

* Although Massif of Ceres stands an impressive 6’10” and 369-lbs., there were many who questioned his decision to face his rival Exo-King and Death Knight of The Evil Ones in a handicap match. Tag out rules applied and for a brief time that helped Massif who isolated Exo-King and battered him for a good stretch. Massif was pretty impressive considering the odds but in the end he succumbed to them. The finish saw Massif going for a deathjump attack but Death Knight shoved him off the top rope. Exo-King took full advantage of that delivering a Reverse Backbreaker to score the pin. The Evil Ones escaped with a victory much to the delight of Exo-King.

8) GWF Tag Team Titles: Gladiators of Aethra defeated Flying Titans to win the titles

* This rematch for the GWF tag team titles saw the defending champions, the Flying Titans of Pit Viper & Pulsar, take on the Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre. After losing to the Flying Titans in the title tournament finals held at Deimos 12, the Gladiators won a disqualification decision in the rematch at Earth 15. This rematch was quickly signed in order to settle things between the two teams and Brute and Massacre went into it looking to ascend the throne that they believe is rightfully theirs.

Both teams were on fire for this one which really could have gone either way. Pit Viper stood out for the Flying Titans as he frustrated both Gladiators throughout the match. Pulsar, who has become a popular underdog competitor, also held his own and even survived after taking the Decapitator from Brute. Both Titans used their trademark Titan Drop but were unable to put the Gladiators away. The closing stretch saw Brute take Pit Viper to the outside while the two legal men, Pulsar and Massacre, battled it out. After a good back and forth exchange, Massacre blasted Pulsar with the Decapitator and three seconds later it was all over. Massacre scored the pin over Pulsar and as a result the Gladiators of Aethra were crowned the new GWF tag team champions.

Thanks for your continued support of my journey into the GWF, my friend. I don't have the next show finished yet but hopefully soon and of course I am looking forward to what 2088 is going to bring.

I was definitely pleased that The Gladiators won the titles but it was a tough battle. Credit the Flying Titans for being a great first championship team. I had a lot of fun rolling out that match and it would have been wild if the Titans had retained the belts.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - Deimos - Card #18 - Intergalactic Arena


The Galaxian Commission addressed the crowd prior to the show, making two major announcements. First was that the GWF would be heading to Sagittarius for Card #22 at The Lagoon at M8 promising an all-star lineup. The second was that part of the main event at Colossal Conflicts 1, taking place at the Intergalactic Arena in Deimos (Card #25), would be decided tonight. Therefore, the winner of the match between Star Warrior and Wolf would be getting an opportunity to challenge for the GWF Heavyweight title. The crowd roared their approval and backstage both men were in heavy preparation for their major showdown at Deimos 18.

1) Red Talon (Andromeda 13) defeated Ghengis Khan (Mongolia, Earth)

* Feeling a renewed confidence with the backing of the fans, Red Talon went into this match with the feared Ghengis Khan with plenty of momentum. His days of claiming to be from the AniMen seemingly forgiven, Talon fought Khan tooth and nail in a great opening bout. After surviving the Twin Thrust, and other punishing strikes from Khan, Talon mounted a big comeback capped off with the Flying Headhunt for the pin.

2) Mutant (Unknown) defeated Duke of Destruction (Altair)

* Much like his newfound ally Red Talon, Duke of Destruction has been received well by the crowd after his admirable attempt to take of as the leader of The Evil Ones. Mutant could care less about that, though, as he battered The Duke throughout this bout. The Duke got in some offense but ultimately Mutant took him out with a Running Clothesline to score the pin.

3) Invincible Krakan (CTA-102) defeated Omega (Cetus)

* The popular Omega, founder of the GWF, took on Society of Death leader Invincible Krakan in a highly anticipated bout. This one had a little of everything, including the referee being taken out on a deathjump by Krakan. Omega put up a great fight late and nearly put Krakan out with the sleeper hold. Krakan recovered and, after a battle outside, he caught Omega with the Falling Face Slam for the pin.

4) The Greek Gods defeated Executioner & Death Knight

* The Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, are in line for a GWF tag team title opportunity but getting past teams like Executioner & Death Knight is a must in order to obtain it. The tough masked duo, who are part of the overall team of Galaxian Villains led by Thantos, knew going in what a victory over Actagon and Proteus could mean as well. That led to a tough fight between the two teams ending in a flash finish. Executioner attempted a suplex but Actagon was able to reverse out of it and execute a quick Reverse Piledriver for a snake eyes pin. The battle continued post-match with The Greek Gods winning out as they drove Executioner and Death Knight out of the ring.

5) Neptunian Space-Croppers defeated Killer Queen & Vanity

* A grudge match of epic proportions saw the Neptunian Space-Croppers, Renegade & Beast-Rider, face Killer Queen & Vanity. This was the return to action for Renegade after being injured by Killer Queen and Vanity and he was out for blood. He literally got it during a wild brawl, busting open the vain Vanity with repeated runs into the guard rail. Killer Queen did his best to save Vanity from defeat but eventually their luck ran out. Beast-Rider tackled Killer Queen while Renegade locked the bloody Vanity in the Spine Cracker for a submission victory.

6) Flying Titans defeated Thantos, Brute & Massacre

* A big six-man tag team match saw the Flying Titans of Lord Nexus, Pit Viper & Pulsar facing Thantos, The Evil Gamemaster, and newly crowned GWF tag team champions the Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre. The heat was off the charts for this match as Pit Viper and Pulsar especially looked to gain some revenge against the Gladiators who beat them for the titles at Deimos 17. Both teams excelled on offense during a long, hard fought bout that featured a number of near falls. The action reached a high intensity peak as Nexus caught Thantos with a big clothesline out of the corner. Thantos was in a bad way and Nexus seized on that blasting him with a Reverse Knife-Edge to score the pin as Pit Viper and Pulsar prevented a save by the Gladiators.

7) Star Warrior (Cetus) defeated Wolf (Andromeda 13)

* Possibly the most anticipated match on the card saw Star Warrior take on Wolf with the winner moving on to a GWF Heavyweight title opportunity at Colossal Conflicts 1. The tension between both men has been off the charts during recent events, including Wolf putting Star Warrior through a table following a tag team match where they were partners. The fans were split in their support of the two popular stars making the anticipation grow stronger.

Star Warrior was dominant early until Wolf caught him with a counter sunset flip off the ropes for a quick near fall. That set the stage for some dramatic action which included Wolf kicking out after being hit with the Nova Launch. Wolf brought the intensity up a notch when he battered Star Warrior outside the ring, followed up by hitting the Wolf Skullcrusher for a two count. The action kicked up to a furious pace and, in the end, it was a second Nova Launch by Star Warrior that resulted in the pin.

Star Warrior scored a huge win earning the title shot at Colossal Conflicts 1, resulting in a seething Wolf clenching his clawed hands and staring intently at the victor. Star Warrior reached out attempting to shake ends and end a bitter rivalry but Wolf would have none of it. Sensing a possible explosion from the defeated Wolf, Star Warrior instead made an interesting request of the Galaxian Commission. He said that he was fortunate to win the match and knows that Wolf is equally deserving of a title opportunity. Wolf growled as Star Warrior said that one match shouldn’t settle this and the Galaxian Commission agreed. They announced that a rematch would take place at Deimos 20 where if Wolf wins a third match would be scheduled to decide a winner. Wolf howled out in acceptance and stared down Star Warrior before leaving the ring.

8) GWF Heavyweight Title: Comrade Terror© (Cygnus) defeated Commander Sam (USA, Earth) to retain the title

* One of the most torrid feuds of 2087 led to this moment, a GWF Heavyweight championship match with Commander Sam challenging Comrade Terror for the title. Vicious would be a good way to describe this match, reminiscent of their two Cosmic Cage Match battles earlier this year. Both men brought their hatred for each other into battle and by the end each had taken great amounts of punishment. Strikes, chokes and brawls outside the ring resulted in some intense action. Commander Sam was busted open by the end, but not before giving his all as he took the fight to the champion. Sam scored big near falls with Sam’s Slam and the Peacemaker slingshot late in the bout. Terror then caught him with the Comrade Neck Clutch for a submission chance but Sam, blood rolling down his face, got to the ropes for the break. Thanks for the comments my friend. The Titans have been on a rollercoaster of momentum for me. It will be interesting to see if they can sustain this good run they are on right now.

Star Warrior vs. Wolf was so much fun, and a match I was hoping to get to when I started this fed up. Dice rolls did a good job of getting us there. I decided to go for a two out of three when Star Warrior won, but if Wolf had won I might not have gone that way. I figured Star Warrior might react like that and it works out well because it gets to another match between the two with high stakes.
