Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - Deimos - Card #19 - Intergalactic Arena
1) Proteus (Greece, Earth) vs. Brute (Aethra) was a Draw
* A hard hitting opening match saw, Proteus, one-half of The Greek Gods, face Brute, one-half of the reigning GWF tag team champions Gladiators of Aethra. The two rival teams faced off in singles matches at Deimos 19, perhaps a sort of preview for an upcoming championship match. Proteus was really on his game here, dominating most of the way and scoring near falls with the Proteus Smash and Overhead Toss. Brute, who was busted open, kept fighting back, though, and Proteus was unable to put him away ending the match in a time limit draw.
2) Killer Queen (Altair) defeated Beast-Rider (Nereid, Neptune)
* Beast-Rider, accompanied by one of the wild beasts from his intergalactic zoo, had his sights set on Killer Queen in this grudge match. This was a fast-paced bout highlighted by Beast-Rider powering out of Checkmate, the dominating submission hold of Killer Queen. Beast-Rider looked to build momentum but a missed corner charge resulted in the vile Killer Queen executing a Counter Roll-Up for the pin.
3) Death Knight (Altair) defeated Pulsar (Titan, Saturn)
* The popular Pulsar, a former GWF tag team champion, saw singles action against Death Knight of The Evil Ones. There were some great twists and turns in this one, which Pulsar nearly won when he hit the Titan Drop. The finish, however, saw Death Knight surprise Pulsar with a Running Lariat (ch) to score the pin.
4) Renegade (Nereid, Neptune) defeated Vanity (Nereid, Neptune)
* Renegade was out for blood against Vanity in a rivalry that has only grown in intensity throughout 2087. He was laser focused on the vain superstar who seemed more into flirting with his female accomplice than participating in the match. That would spell doom for Vanity as Renegade dominated this bout and scored the submission victory with Spine Cracker, his devastating variation of the legendary Camel Clutch hold.
5) Executioner (France, Earth) defeated Pit Viper (Titan, Saturn)
* Pit Viper, a former GWF tag team champion, was also looking to impress in singles action as he took on the feared Executioner, the Medieval Headsman. He did a great job battling his larger foe and nearly won it with Venom Blast, his trademark finishing move. Executioner had to resort to illegal tactics to turn the tide, scoring a near fall with an illegal foreign object and then scoring the pin after taking the air out of Pit Viper with a Choke Using Ropes.
6) Massacre (Aethra) defeated Actagon (Greece, Earth) by DQ
* The other half of The Greek Gods and Gladiators of Aethra singles showcase saw Actagon of Greece square off against Massacre of Aethra. This was a tough battle that saw the tide turn when Actagon hit the Grecian Power Drop and twice locked on the Grecian Sleeper Grip. Massacre impressively avoided defeat and baited Actagon to the outside. Actagon went after Massacre with reckless abandon but shoved the referee down and that resulted in a disqualification. Massacre won it and taunted Actagon by holding up his GWF tag team title belt afterward.
7) Society of Death defeated Omega, Red Talon & Duke of Destruction
* Six-man tag team action saw Omega, Red Talon, and Duke of Destruction join forces to take on Society of Death members Invincible Krakan, Mutant, and Ghengis Khan. The recent rise in popularity of Talon and the Duke played off well as they were given more credibility teaming with Omega, the founder of the GWF. Krakan led his team in a strong offensive early before Omega rallied back with the cosmic war dance. Talon and the Duke played a big role in mounting a counter offensive but in the end it was the Society of Death that took it home. That came courtesy of Khan who nailed Omega with Twin Thrust for the pin.
8) Lord Nexus & Massif defeated Thantos & Exo-King
* A grudge tag team main event saw the Flying Titans and the Federation Defense Fighters represented as Titans leader Lord Nexus teamed with Massif of the FDF to battle the Galaxian Villains pairing of The Evil Gamemaster, Thantos, and Exo-King the leader of The Evil Ones. This was a titanic battle with both sides having solid runs on the offensive side of things. Exo-King, who nearly put Massif out with the Death Vise earlier, proved formidable as he survived a barrage of finishing moves from Nexus and Massif. He was busted open, however, and fell in the end when Massif hit a second Volcanic Drop on him for the pin as Nexus prevented Thantos from making the save. It was a key win for Massif who scored a fall over his rival Exo-King in an exciting main event match.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - Deimos - Card #20 - Intergalactic Arena
1) Red Talon (Andromeda 13) defeated Pulsar (Titan, Saturn)
* The opening bout saw Pulsar of the Flying Titans take on Red Talon. Talon has garnered almost a cult fan support following despite his dubious claims of being from the AniMen race and he has also impressed enough in his matches to earn some respect from his peers. Pulsar would likely agree as the two had an entertaining back and forth battle. It came to an end when Talon countered a flying mare and delivered the Andromeda Drop for the pin. It was a big victory for Red Talon over Pulsar, one-half of the inaugural GWF tag team champions.
2) Invincible Krakan (CTA-102) defeated Duke of Destruction (Altair)
* A hard hitting affair followed as Duke of Destruction took on Invincible Krakan, leader of Society of Death. Much like his newfound ally Red Talon, the Duke has gained a cult fan following for standing up to The Evil Ones, despite failing to replace Exo-King as the leader of that group. The crowd was behind the Duke and he fared well against Krakan, nearly pinning him with the Duke Deathdrop moments into the match. Krakan fought back hard, though, scoring a few near falls before hitting the devastating Falling Face Slam for the pin.
3) Neptunian Space-Croppers defeated Society of Death
* The Neptunian Space-Croppers, Renegade & Beast-Rider, faced off against Mutant & Ghengis Khan of the Society of Death in tag team action. Both teams were on point in this struggle hoping to pick up the win. Khan nearly put Renegade away with Twin Thrust early but Beast-Rider made the save. Society of Death held control for a good stretch until the Space-Croppers broke through with Renegade leading the way. Renegade was like a man possessed and he took this one home when he trapped Mutant in the Spinecracker for a submission victory.
4) Death Knight (Altair) defeated Pit Viper (Titan, Saturn)
* The popular Pit Viper of the Flying Titans had a tough draw facing Death Knight of The Evil Ones. The robotic medieval warrior is a serious threat as Viper found out. Pit Viper only held control briefly throughout this encounter, which ended when Death Knight pinned him snake eyes style after hitting the Cosmic Lance.
5) The Greek Gods defeated Killer Queen & Vanity by DQ
* A heated tag team bout saw The Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, take on Killer Queen & Vanity, two of the more hated members of the Galaxian Villains side. The Greek Gods took it to Killer Queen and Vanity and looked on their way to a key victory. That was until it went outside and Killer Queen, who has proven to be a pretty ruthless competitor, slammed Actagon on top of the timekeeper’s table. He and Vanity then took to using chairs on The Greek Gods resulting in a snake eyes disqualification decision. Killer Queen and Vanity kept up their chair attack post-match until the Neptunian Space-Croppers ran them off.
6) Exo-King (Altair) defeated Lord Nexus (Titan, Saturn)
* A battle of faction leaders saw Lord Nexus of the Flying Titans face Exo-King of The Evil Ones. Lord Nexus has been on a real roll of late which he was hoping to keep going. Exo-King, on the other hand, was looking to hand Nexus a crushing defeat. This was a great bout, and one that could easily headline any GWF card. Exo-King gained control late and, after a brief exchange, he caught Nexus with a neckbreaker followed by a 351-pound Flying Body Crusher to score the pin. It was a tough night for the Flying Titans as all three members – Pulsar, Pit Viper, and Lord Nexus – suffered defeats in their matches.
7) Omega, Commander Sam & Massif defeated Thantos, Comrade Terror & Executioner
* A massive six-man tag team match saw the Federation Defense Fighters of Omega, Commander Sam, and Massif face the Galaxian Villains team of Thantos, GWF Heavyweight champion Comrade Terror and Executioner. The long and intense rivalry between Sam and Terror, which recently saw Sam make an unsuccessful bid to dethrone Terror, took center stage for a good portion of the match. Neither could put the other away, though, and that only added to the tension between them.
Late into it, Omega had Executioner pinned after a karate chop but Thantos dropped an elbow on him and reversed the pinning position with the masked man gaining a near fall. Thantos tagged in looking to finish off Omega but the GWF founder surprised him with a Sleeper Hold. As Sam and Massif fended off a save attempt, Thantos was left to struggle out of it but instead fell under as Omega cinched it on to score a submission victory.
The crowd went wild as the FDF scored a big win but when an embarrassed Thantos recovered he went into a rage jumping Omega. While Terror and Executioner took out Sam and Massif, Thantos locked on the Masterlock with the intent to injure Omega. That was prevented, however, as Omega’s sun Star Warrior ran in and made the save resulting in a four-on-three advantage for the FDF causing Thantos and his partners to bail out of the ring.
8) Wolf defeated Star Warrior
* The second match in a Best of Three series to determine the challenger to GWF Heavyweight champion Comrade Terror at Colossal Conflicts 1 saw Star Warrior face Wolf in the main event. After his win over Wolf at Deimos 18, which would have earned him that title shot, Star Warrior insisted that the Galaxian Commission make it a Best of Three series out of fairness to determine who was the better man. Having just been involved in a heated altercation with Thantos, Star Warrior was bursting with adrenaline as Wolf made his way into the ring. The two rivals had an intense stare down as the referee called for the bell to get the match underway.
Star Warrior dominated the early action until Wolf took it out to the floor. Wolf has a penchant for brawling and he utilized that to his full advantage roughing up Star Warrior for a good stretch. He also scored a two count after hitting a running clothesline. Star Warrior battled back nailing Wolf with the Running Star Blast driving him out of the ring. This time it was Star Warrior that excelled on the outside giving Wolf a dose of his own medicine. Wolf recovered and, after an atomic knee drop, he trapped Star Warrior in the Savage Face Claw. Star Warrior tried to fight out of it but Wolf kept applying the pressure which led to him winning it by submission.
Wolf howled in victory as he tied the series at 1-1 with the final match now set for Deimos 23. Thantos, meanwhile, snuck into the ring and began putting the boots to Star Warrior. The crowd urged Wolf to make a save but instead he just watched. Omega then ran in to save his son, attacking Thantos but was cut off as Wolf trapped him in the Savage Face Claw! It was an incredible turn of events and one that did not escape the Galaxian Commission as they later announced that at Deimos 21 it would be Omega & Star Warrior vs. Thantos & Wolf! With Wolf being a loner in the GWF, save for a curious ally in Proteus of The Greek Gods, it will be interesting to see if he can even get along with Thantos as tag team partners, and forced tag team partners at that.

That main event was absolutely spectacular... Pleased that Wolf was able to force a rubber match between him and SW to decide who will face Terror for the title... And the aftermath was just as thrilling... Cannot wait to see how Omega & Star Warrior vs. Thantos & Wolf plays out... Won't be for the faint of heart, I'm sure... Truth!

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - Deimos - Card #21 - Intergalactic Arena
1) Flying Titans defeated Killer Queen, Vanity & Executioner
* Six-man tag team actioned opened things up with the Flying Titans of Lord Nexus, Pit Viper & Pulsar doing battle with Killer Queen, Vanity & Executioner. Hoping to regain some lost momentum, the Titans kicked it into high gear for this match with a rogues gallery of the Galaxian Villains. Killer Queen, who has become increasingly brutal and dangerous, found himself the odd man out in this one as the Titans kept him away from his partners. The finishing stretch saw Pit Viper deliver a second dose of Venom Blast on Killer Queen to score the pin.
2) Renegade (Nereid, Neptune) defeated Mutant (Unknown)
* A hard hitting affair saw Renegade, who boasts an impressive won-loss record in singles competition, collide with the ferocious Mutant of the Society of Death. This one wasn’t pretty as plenty of strikes, fists, and chokes were used by both men. It came to Renegade outlasting Mutant and trapping him in the Spinecracker for a submission victory.
3) Ghengis Khan (Mongolia, Earth) defeated Beast-Rider (Nereid, Neptune)
* Another hard hitting bout pitted Beast-Rider, accompanied by fanged beast from his intergalactic zoo, against the feared Ghengis Khan of the Society of Death. This match could have gone either way, with both men scoring key near falls. Beast-Rider with the cross body block (ch) and Khan with a dive off of the top rope deathjump (ch) style. In the end it was Khan delivering a series of deadly throat chops followed by the Twin Thrust to score the pin.
4) The Greek Gods defeated Exo-King & Death Knight
* The Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, had a tough draw facing Exo-King & Death Knight of The Evil Ones. They did a great job, however, utilizing their tag team experience and isolating Exo-King for a good stretch. Exo-King showed his toughness in taking some serious attacks, including surviving a pin after a Grecian Power Drop by Proteus.
The Evil Ones fought back hard with Death Knight using a loaded glove at one point. Proteus survived that attack and, with Actagon cutting off Exo-King, he delivered the Overhead Toss on Death Knight for the pin. Actagon grabbed the mic afterward and said that The Greek Gods want to face the winners of the GWF tag team championship match between the Flying Titans and Gladiators of Aethra, scheduled for Sagittarius 22, at Colossal Conflicts 1!
5) Non-Title Match: Gladiators of Aethra© defeated Red Talon & Duke of Destruction by Count Out
* The first of two non-title matches on the card saw Red Talon & Duke of Destruction face reigning GWF tag team champions the Gladiators f Aethra, Brute & Massacre. This was a slaughter. The Gladiators looked like they had something to prove, perhaps angry over the challenge by The Greek Gods, and they ran over the opposition. It ended up on the outside where Talon was counted out after Brute nailed him with Decapitation against the guard rail. Talon had to be helped to the back by The Duke while The Gladiators proudly held up their title belts.
6) Commander Sam (USA, Earth) defeated Invincible Krakan (CTA-102)
* A big time singles match saw Commander Sam of the FDF face Invincible Krakan, leader of Society of Death. This was a tough bout with both men going all out to win it. Krakan nearly took it midway with a near fall on Sam with a counter roll-up out of the corner. That missed corner charge by Sam nearly did him in. Sam rebounded with some nice offense, hitting both the Peacemaker and running slingshot. He had Krakan reeling and took him out delivering Sam’s Atomic Drop for the pin.
7) Non-Title Match: Massif (Ceres) defeated Comrade Terror© (Cygnus)
* The 6’10” and 369-pound Massif stood tall over Comrade Terror, the reigning GWF Heavyweight champion, as the two met in center ring. That had to somewhat alarm Comrade Terror, knowing that a win by Massif could result in a championship opportunity. Massif brought the fight to Terror, battering him with the head butt several times before hitting the Volcanic Drop. It looked to be over but Executioner ran in and caused a distraction. That helped Terror to turn the tables and go on a strong offensive. Massif was able to survive it, though, and struck back in the end hitting a second Volcanic Drop for the pin.
The crowd erupted in cheers as Massif put Comrade Terror on notice, indicating that he wanted a shot at the title. The challenge was not accepted but later the Galaxian Commission ruled that a championship match would take place on the eve of Colossal Conflicts 1 as Comrade Terror defends the GWF Heavyweight title against Massif at Deimos 24.
8) Thantos & Wolf defeated Omega & Star Warrior by Count Out
* One of the biggest main events of 2087 saw the father and son team of Omega & Star Warrior take on the unlikely duo of “The Evil Gamemaster” Thantos & Wolf. Neither Thantos or Wolf agreed to teaming up as it was the Galaxian Commission that ordered it based on their actions against Omega and Star Warrior at Deimos 20. The intensity was off the charts for this match, especially when Star Warrior and Wolf went at it. Tied up at 1-1 in their best of three match series for a GWF Heavyweight title shot at Colossal Conflicts 1, the bitter rivals had some heated exchanges. Thantos, who was not thrilled to be involved in this match, did break up a pin when Star Warrior hit the Nova Launch on Wolf at one point.
Omega had his chance to shine in the match as well, nearly pinning Thantos with cosmic war dance. Wolf then had to return the favor saving Thantos after he was hit with the Nova Launch. Star Warrior likewise saved Omega from both the Masterlock by Thantos and the Savage Face Claw by Wolf. By the time this match was over, both Omega and Wolf had been busted open. The heat built up as all four men took the battle outside where Thantos used a sleeper hold on the bloody Omega while Wolf and Star Warrior fought over the ring barrier. Thantos took advantage of the worn down Omega and beat the count back into the ring. As a result, Thantos and Wolf were declared the winners by count out in a match that none of the GWF universal fan base will soon forget.

Although I don't expect they'll experience a whole lot of success, I must admit that I'm becoming a fan of the Duke/Talon alliance... Eager to see what direction you take this odd couple in the future.
And that main event certainly lived up to the high expectations... I never expected Thantos and Wolf to function as a cohesive unit, but I guess their individual desires took precedence over their distaste for each other... Awesome stuff!

I love seeing Duke/Talon come together as well. I'm not sure if they will even make it into 2088 but they would be a fun undercard team to keep around. The main event was intense and I had no idea what to expect from a Thantos and Wolf pairing either, only that they were forced to work together to get a win. Thanks as always for the comments my friend.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - Sagittarius - Card #22 - The Lagoon at M8
1) Vanity (Nereid, Neptune) defeated Duke of Destruction (Altair)
* The night’s action on Sagittarius got off to a hot start as Duke of Destruction faced Vanity. This was a quick, but spirited battle ending when Vanity countered with a piledriver on a backdrop. Vanity then went up top and nailed The Duke with the Pulverizer to score the pin.
2) Exo-King (Altair) defeated Red Talon (Andromeda 13)
* The fearless Red Talon had a tough draw as he faced Exo-King, the leader of The Evil Ones. Exo-King has been on a mission to establish top contender ship in the GWF but has been sidetrack by intense rivalries with Massif and Duke of Destruction. He took his aggression out on Red Talon here, dominating the action and then trapping him in the Death Vise, his robotic arm version of the bearhug, to score a submission victory.
3) Lord Nexus (Titan, Saturn) defeated Invincible Krakan (CTA-102)
* The long standing rivalry between Lord Nexus of the Flying Titans and Invincible Krakan of Society of Death took center stage with a heated match at The Lagoon at M8. Krakan nearly took it home early, winning a furious exchange and then delivering the Falling Face Slam for a big near fall. Nexus fought back and the intensity picked up until a sudden finish. It was Nexus blasting Krakan with a Karate Chop and scoring the pin over his rival.
4) Wolf (Andromeda 13) defeated Executioner (France, Earth)
* Another top rivalry match saw Wolf go one-on-one with Executioner. The two blood rivals engaged in a hard hitting, often brutal bout that some said Wolf was crazy to accept in between his best-of-three series with Star Warrior. Wolf has never been one to back down from a fight as Executioner found out here. The masked man had his moments as he looked to possibly injure Wolf before he faces Star Warrior at Deimos 23. Wolf had to dig down deep to take this one which ended when both men went down from a double clothesline off the ropes. Wolf managed to recover first and he trapped Executioner in the Savage Face Claw scoring a submission victory.
5) Society of Death defeated Neptunian Space-Croppers
* Two teams determined to make their mark in the GWF tag team division faced off as the Neptunian Space-Croppers, Renegade & Beast-Rider, battled the Society of Death, Mutant & Ghengis Khan. This was a great bout with both teams excelling on offense. The Space-Croppers unleashed some big moves, like the Cropper Slam, hoping to wear down Mutant and Khan. The Society of Death members took it outside where, while avoiding the beast Beast-Rider rode in on, they dominated the action. Late in the bout, Mutant hit Beast-Rider with an undetected foreign object which led to the Society of Death winning it when Khan used the Khan Nerve Pinch on the unconscious Beast-Rider to score a submission victory.
6) Death Knight (Altair) defeated Omega (Cetus)
* Another long standing rivalry was featured as Omega took on Death Knight of The Evil Ones. Omega, the founder of the GWF, had the crowd clearly on his side as he took the fight to the robotic medieval warrior. He controlled a good portion of the bout until Death Knight made a counter hitting a loaded glove for a near fall. Death Knight followed with the Cosmic Lance for a big near fall and then caught the stunned Omega with Death Ride for the pin.
An interesting moment took place afterward as Omega, shaking off the defeat to his rival, was approached at ringside by a mysterious figure covered by a cloak. The two conversed briefly before Omega shook his hand and invited him to return to the locker room area. Nothing more was said about this situation as Omega remained tight lipped even as reporters rushed him at the airfield en route to leaving Sagittarius.
7) Massif & Commander Sam defeated Thantos & Comrade Terror
* The first of a double tag team main event saw Massif & Commander Sam of the FDF face the Galaxian Villains duo of Thantos & Comrade Terror, the reigning GWF Heavyweight champion. A lot of the focus was on Massif and Terror as at Deimos 24 the two will collide in a GWF Heavyweight title match. Commander Sam, meanwhile, has felt he has something to prove after some recent setbacks. Massif nearly put Terror away with the Volcanic Drop at one point but Thantos dropped an elbow on him and reversed the pinning position. Terror scored a two count there and that led to the villains going on a strong run. Late in the match, though, it was Commander Sam launching a big comeback for his team and after a running slingshot he nailed Thantos with the Peacemaker Slingshot to score the pin.
Massif and Commander Sam barely had time to celebrate their big win as they were jumped from behind post-match. Terror hit Massif with the title belt knocking him out of the ring and then joined Thantos in a beatdown on Sam. The two kicked and stomped Sam until deciding to leave the ring. Sam, however, recovered and grabbed the mic daring Thantos to face him at Deimos 23. Thantos laughed it off but then accepted the challenge inferring that Sam’s win tonight was a “fluke” and that would be proven in their match.
8) GWF Tag Team Titles: Gladiators of Aethra© defeated Flying Titans to retain the titles
* The main event was a rematch for the GWF Tag team titles as former champions the Flying Titans, Pit Viper & Pulsar, looked to regain the gold from the Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre. The championship battles between these two teams have been nothing short of electrifying and this match was no exception. Pit Viper almost won it three different times during the match, twice with the Titan Drop and once with Venom Blast. Pulsar was equally effective and at one point had Brute in serious trouble with a Boston Crab.
The Gladiators muscled their way back into it, and Brute nearly pinned Pit Viper after an atomic Skullcrusher. The finishing sequence was insane with control switching back and forth before Massacre nailed Pulsar with a running clothesline for a near fall. Brute then took Pit Viper out and that led to Massacre leveling Pulsar with the Decapitator for the pin. It was a successful version one title defense for the Gladiators who may be facing The Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, for the titles very soon.

Very cool that Brute & Massacre held onto the tag belts... I'm looking forward to the inevitable encounter between them and the Greeks.
Massif is looking strong as he prepares for his title shot against Terror... And I've gotta feeling the finish to that big tag match is not sitting too well with the Gamemaster... Sam better keep those peepers peeled cuz I think retribution might be coming his way.
Wolf still has great momentum heading into the existing match of his top contenders series against SW... Plus, I enjoyed the mysterious appearance of a possible new ally for Omega... Very ominous...
Another brilliant show, my friend... 2088 is not far away!
