Very cool that Brute & Massacre held onto the tag belts... I'm looking forward to the inevitable encounter between them and the Greeks. Massif is looking strong as he prepares for his title shot against Terror... And I've gotta feeling the finish to that big tag match is not sitting too well with the Gamemaster... Sam better keep those peepers peeled cuz I think retribution might be coming his way. Wolf still has great momentum heading into the existing match of his top contenders series against SW... Plus, I enjoyed the mysterious appearance of a possible new ally for Omega... Very ominous... Another brilliant show, my friend... 2088 is not far away! Thanks for the comments as always my friend. We are mere moments from the Star Warrior vs. Wolf final plus thanks for pointing out the mysterious ally for Omega. I'm keeping it tight lipped but I'm sure all GWF veterans know who the mystery man is

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - Deimos - Card #23 - Intergalactic Arena
1) Killer Queen (Altair) defeated Red Talon (Andromeda 13)
* An exciting opening bout saw Red Talon take on Killer Queen of The Evil Ones. The vile Killer Queen had a strong run on offense until Talon made a spirited comeback, including scoring a two count with a Feather Smother. It was Killer Queen cementing a victory by foiling a deathjump counter and locking on Checkmate for a submission win.
2) Mutant (Unknown) defeated Pulsar (Titan, Saturn)
* The popular Pulsar of the Flying Titans fought Mutant of the rival Society of Death in a spirited battle. Pulsar was dominant in this one but for some reason was unable to put Mutant away. Mutant would gain control on the outside mauling Pulsar before eventually applying the Temple Grinder for a submission win.
3) Executioner (France, Earth) defeated Pit Viper (Titan, Saturn)
* Pit Viper of the Flying Titans had his hands full battling the larger Executioner, one of the toughest competitors on the Galaxian Villains side. He put up a great fight, though, including picking up a big near fall with a knife-edge. This one could have gone either way but Executioner, perhaps out of desperation, used an Illegal Foreign Object on Pit Viper to score the pin.
4) Ghengis Khan (Mongolia, Earth) defeated Beast-Rider (Nereid, Neptune)
* A rough night for the fan favorites of the galaxy continued as Beast-Rider of the Neptunian Space-Croppers faced off against Ghengis Khan of Society of Death. Khan got the early jump on Beast-Rider and never let up, chopping and brawling his way to a dominant win. The finish came when Khan nailed Beast-Rider with the Twin Thrust to score the pin. Khan even attempted to kidnap Beast-Rider’s wild beast from ringside afterward but Beast-Rider recovered just in time to save his animal companion.
5) Lord Nexus (Titan, Saturn) defeated Death Knight (Altair)
* This one was over quickly as Lord Nexus avoided a corner charge by the slow and robotic Death Knight catching him with a counter roll-up for a two count. Nexus then quickly caught Death Knight with the Titan Drop for the pin. It was a popular victory for the leader of the Flying Titans and the first of the night for the Galaxian fan favorites.
6) Exo-King (Altair) defeated Renegade (Nereid, Neptune) by Count Out
* The rough and rugged Renegade of the Neptunian Space-Croppers had his sights set on Exo-King, leader of The Evil Ones, in this big singles match-up. Renegade has proven to be a tough draw and Exo-King experienced that as even his powerful Death Vise couldn’t put him away. Renegade twice fought out of that punishing hold to continue in the match. This one would end in controversy when Vanity, a fierce rival of Renegade, attacked him on the outside while Exo-King kept the referee distracted. Exo-King was then awarded a controversial count out victory as Renegade was unable to make it back intro the ring.
7) Thantos (Maffei II) defeated Commander Sam (USA, Earth)
* Two men itching to get at each other squared off as Commander Sam of the Federation Defense Fighters took on Thantos, The Evil Gamemaster and leader of the Galaxian Villains. After Sam pinned Thantos to win a tag team match at Sagittarius 22, Thantos and GWF Heavyweight champion Comrade Terror assaulted him. That led to Sam issuing this challenge to a singles match which Thantos arrogantly accepted. Thantos may have been way over confident going in as Sam took the measure of him most of the way, including hitting Sam’s Slam for a big near fall.
The finish was controversial as Sam hit Sam’s Atomic Drop on a bloody Thantos for what looked to be a sure pin but Executioner, who had come to ringside, interfered. He put Thantos’ foot over the bottom rope to break up the pion and then, as Thantos distracted the referee, the masked man jumped in and hit the Headsman Guillotine on Sam. That set up Thantos delivering a Full Power Slam on Sam to score the pin drawing the ire of the crowd.
8) Star Warrior (Cetus) defeated Wolf (Andromeda 13)
* The final match of a best-of-three series between Star Warrior and Wolf, arguably the two most popular stars in the GWF, reached an epic conclusion. At stake was a match for the GWF Heavyweight title, currently held by Comrade Terror, in the main event of Colossal Conflicts 1 at Deimos 25. Star Warrior won the initial contest at Deimos 18 and by all rights earned the title shot but he insisted on making it a best two out of three series, something many questioned as Wolf may not have done the same. Wolf then won the second contest at Deimos 20 to even it up and set the stage for this final showdown.
Wolf had control early and scored a near fall with a Wolf Skullcrusher before locking on the Savage Face Claw. It took everything that Star Warrior had to fight out of it, surviving a hold that has put many an opponent away. The two evenly matched stars went on a torrid pace from there battling both in and out of the ring. Wolf picked up a few more near falls in the process, and busted Star Warrior open along the way. Star Warrior was in rough shape but he would not go down frustrating Wolf to no end. The finishing sequence saw Wolf send Star Warrior into the turnbuckle but he missed a corner charge which was turned into a counter roll-up for a big near fall. The bloody Star Warrior then made his way to the top rope and hit the Nova Launch on a prone Wolf. Three seconds later it was all over as Star Warrior scored the pin and earned the title shot.
There was a lot of tension post-match as Wolf stared down a bloody but victorious Star Warrior, prompting Omega to enter the ring. Playing peacemaker between his son and the lone Wolf, he managed to get them to shake hands and then raised both of their arms up in victory. Wolf howled in their direction before leaving the ring, allowing Star Warrior to soak in the cheers of the sell-out crowd at the Intergalactic Arena. Star Warrior will now await the winner of the GWF Heavyweight title match at Deimos 24 between Massif and Comrade Terror to see who he will be facing in the main event for the championship at Colossal Conflicts 1.

Wow! Commander Sam continues to impress... Despite losing to Thantos, he certainly pushed the Gamemaster to the limit... And probably would have won if not for some well timed interference... 2088 could be a great year for the American patriot.
Star Warrior and Wolf gave the crowd what they wanted... An exciting conclusion to a very dramatic series... Can the second generation superstar capitalize on this momentum and become GWF champion? Of course, the bigger question might be - Will he challenge Comrade Terror? Or his close ally, Massif?
Brilliant stuff!

I know you were in support of Wolf through this series but at the end the dice rolls favored Star Warrior. These matches were excellent, though, not an easy win for either guy. Star Warrior vs. Comrade Terror or Massif will be a great main event for my big year ending show. Commander Sam has been very resilient throughout 2087 as Thantos found out. I know Sam has a new ally coming in 2088 so I'm looking forward to that.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - Deimos - Card #24 - Intergalactic Arena
1) Executioner (France, Earth) defeated Red Talon (Andromeda 13)
* Red Talon tried is the best we can say about this opening bout against the feared Executioner, a key member of the Galaxian Villains. Talon had the upper hand early, relying on his speed advantage. Executioner made a counter (ch) and took over dominating the rest of the way. After a third Headsman Guillotine, pulling Talon up at the two count on the prior attempts, it was Executioner scoring the pin.
2) Duke of Destruction (Altair) defeated Death Knight (Altair)
* Duke of Destruction, who became a cult favorite in his attempt to take over The Evil Ones from Exo-King, got another shot at the faction as he took on Death Knight. The Duke worked a smart match as he exploited the slow speed of his robotic opponent staying one step ahead of him. An offensive outburst late saw the Duke hit a Duke Deathdrop before locking on the Grip of Doom for a submission victory.
3) Flying Titans defeated Society of Death by Count Out
* A classic rivalry was renewed as former GWF Tag Team Champions the Flying Titans, Pit Viper & Pulsar, took on Mutant & Ghengis Khan of the Society of Death. This was an all-action battle with both teams utilizing their tag team experience to the fullest. Quick tags and cutting off the ring were prevalent as both sides looked to score the win. There were two great near falls for both sides, one coming off the Whirlwind by Pulsar and the other from a standing karate kick by Khan. The finish of an intense bout saw the Society of Death counted out of the ring after Pulsar nailed Mutant with a dive to the outside knocking him over the ring barrier.
4) Lord Nexus (Titan, Saturn) defeated Vanity (Altair) by DQ
* The popular Lord Nexus of the Flying Titans had full crowd support as he took on the vile Killer Queen of The Evil Ones. Nexus was dominant early, including catching Queen with the Titan Drop for a near fall. Killer Queen battled back using illegal tactics but Nexus was up to the fight. After a big reverse knife-edge, he delivered another Titan Drop but this time Queen’s partner in crime, Vanity, interfered breaking up the pin. Nexus was jumped by both men after the bell but were driven out of the ring when Pit Viper and Pulsar made the save.
5) Exo-King (Altair) defeated Omega (Cetus)
* GWF founder Omega in his prime years was an elite performer and every once in a while that is reborn like it was in this match against Exo-King, leader of The Evil Ones. Exo-King used his decided power advantage to control, even locking on the Death Vise, but Omega kept fighting back. At one point Omega gained three straight near falls with the cosmic war dance, karate chop and Tomahawk Thrust. Exo-King was busted open and in trouble but he staged a late comeback catching Omega with a Flying Body Crusher for the pin. Omega may have lost the match but the crowd at the Intergalactic Arena gave him a standing ovation for his efforts.
6) Invincible Krakan (CTA-102) defeated Beast-Rider (Nereid, Neptune)
* A feature singles bout saw Beast-Rider going up against Invincible Krakan, leader of the Society of Death. The early action saw Beast-Rider pounce on Krakan, rocking him with a Beast Knee Shuffle and then getting the better of him outside the ring. Krakan bounced back with a knife-edge (ch) and a backward leg-sweep for a two count. This one built up to an exciting conclusion with Krakan making a counter out of the corner before delivering is trademark Falling Face Slam for the pin.
7) Gladiators of Aethra & Vanity defeated The Greek Gods & Renegade
* Six-man tag team action saw The Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, and Renegade of the Neptunian Space-Croppers taking on GWF Tag Team Champions the Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre, and Vanity, formerly of the Neptunian Space-Croppers. The Greek Gods are challenging the Gladiators for the tag team championship at Colossal Conflicts 1 and they hoped to send a message here. Actagon nearly put Brute out with the Grecian Sleeper Grip at one point but it was broken in the ropes. In the end, the message was sent the other way when, after a great battle, Massacre caught Proteus with the Massacre Slam for the pin. The Gladiators taunted The Greek Gods with the title belts after the match, enjoying their big victory along with Vanity.
8) GWF Heavyweight Title: Massif (Ceres) defeated Comrade Terror (Cygnus) to win the title
* The main event that everyone was waiting for, especially number one contender Star Warrior, saw Massif challenge Comrade Terror for the GWF Heavyweight Title. The reign of terror, as it was coined by Thantos, began when Comrade Terror won the vacant championship beating Wolf in a tournament final at Deimos 10. Several challengers came forth, and Wolf and Star Warrior even battled it out to see who would get a title shot at Colossal Conflicts 1, but Massif emerged as the latest threat. The 6’10” and 369-pound star from Ceres, a member of the Federation Defense Fighters, is one of the most popular stars on the GWF roster so he no doubt had full support of the crowd as he made his bid to become champion.
The ruthless Comrade Terror, despite giving away a lot of size, took on the great challenge from Massif in what was a short but fierce battle. Terror gained control and locked on the Comrade Neck Clutch but Massif fought out of it, coming back with some major offense. He had Terror reeling when he went in and delivered his potent finisher, the Volcanic Drop, to score the pin. Just like that it was all over and Massif made history at Deimos 24 becoming the new GWF Heavyweight champion.
The crowd cheered wildly as Massif was handed the title belt, momentarily enjoying his celebration as Star Warrior entered the ring. The two friends stared each other down before bumping fists and hugging each other. Star Warrior raised Massif’s arm up in victory and then left the ring allowing the new champion to fully enjoy his victory. Massif grabbed the mic and called Star Warrior back into the ring laying the title belt down between them. He thanked Star Warrior for his friendship and for bringing him into the GWF but said that all of that would have to be put aside when they meet for the title at Colossal Conflicts 1. Star Warrior agreed and said “may the best man win” as Massif nodded to him, setting the stage for what is sure to be an amazing, and emotional, main event battle for the championship.

The Gladiators and Vanity! Now THERE'S a COTG teamup I NEVER thought I'd see! Massif winning the top title from Terror was a spectacular way to end this show... Setting up an unbelievable face vs. face showdown... Can the giant from Ceres overcome the second generation superstar? Or will the Golden Boy achieve what many believe is his destiny? Stoked!

Setting up an unbelievable face vs. face showdown... Can the giant from Ceres overcome the second generation superstar? Or will the Golden Boy achieve what many believe is his destiny? Stoked! Lol me too. It just came about because I was looking for someone to team with them and with Renegade on the other side I figured why not. I'm sure Brute and Massacre didn't even acknowledge his presence At least we know that The Gladiators have an ally coming in 2088 that will better suit them for any six-man tag team bouts As for Star Warrior vs. Massif, I am stoked as well for that confrontation. The dice rolling took the title picture on quite a ride the last few shows but I like where it ended up.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2087 - Deimos - Card #25 - Colossal Conflicts 1 - Intergalactic Arena
1) Killer Queen & Death Knight defeated Red Talon & Duke of Destruction
* The opening contest of Colossal Conflicts 1 saw Red Talon & Duke of Destruction face Killer Queen & Death Knight of The Evil Ones. The rivalry between The Duke and The Evil Ones was well established in 2087 and on this final night of the year he was hoping to get one over on them. This was a good opening bout which The Duke nearly won with a Grip of Doom on Killer Queen only to have Death Knight make the save. The finishing sequence saw Killer Queen counter a deathjump by Talon with a superplex before locking on Checkmate for a submission victory. The Evil Ones prevailed and that didn’t sit well with The Duke who put Red Talon out with the Grip of Doom afterward. The cult favorite tag team was no more and with both Duke and Talon on one-year contracts with the GWF this may have been their swan song.
2) Beast-Rider (Nereid, Neptune) vs. Executioner (France, Earth) was a DDQ
* Two men looking to build momentum going into 2088 squared off as Beast-Rider of the Neptunian Space-Croppers took on the Executioner. They wasted no time going into battle and, unfortunately, this one didn’t last long as Executioner took it to the outside where both men were disqualified for failing to listen to the referee. The two traded blows all around ringside resulting in a double disqualification decision.
3) Society of Death defeated Flying Titans
* The war between the Flying Titans of Lord Nexus, Pit Viper & Pulsar and the Society of Death of Invincible Krakan, Mutant & Ghengis Khan raged throughout the GWF in 2087. It was fitting that they met again in six-man tag team action on this big stage. With rumors swirling that both sides could have reinforcements on the horizon, it was important to score a victory in order to claim superiority over the rival team going into 2088.
This was an incredible battle with both teams coming close to victory. It also featured some incredible moments, namely Pit Viper forcibly kicking out after taking a Falling Face Slam from Krakan. The Titan Drop was in use by the Titans, one of which by Lord Nexus nearly put away Khan. It was Khan who would decide this one when a deathjump attack on Pulsar was followed by the Twin Thrust for a snake eyes pin. The action didn’t end there, however, as Society of Death “celebrated” their win with a post-match attack. They isolated Pulsar and Khan and Mutant double-teamed him under the command of Krakan. It was a vicious assault and Pulsar had to be removed from the ring area on a stretcher.
4) Titan Death Match: Renegade (Nereid, Neptune) defeated Vanity (Nereid, Neptune)
* The other-half of the Neptunian Space-Croppers, Renegade, had payback on his mind as he faced his former tag team partner Vanity. They clashed several times during 2087 and Vanity, along with Killer Queen, put Renegade out of action with an injury. This was a tale of violence and timely counters resulting in lost control. Renegade began out with a furious attack but missed a deathjump. Vanity took over and scored several near falls, including with his trademark Pulverizer. Just when Renegade looked out of it, he avoided a corner charge by Vanity catching him with a Counter Roll-Up for the pin. It was sweet revenge for Renegade to close out a strong year for him in both singles and tag team action.
5) Omega & Commander Sam defeated Thantos & Exo-King
* The Federation Defense Fighters team of Omega & Commander Sam faced the Galaxian Villains combination of Thantos & Exo-King, the latter being the leader of The Evil Ones. All four of these men had various confrontations throughout the year and all were fought with hatred and intensity. This match was no exception. Thantos nearly won it with the Masterlock on Omega but Sam broke it up. That led to Omega stunning Thantos with a karate chop for a big near fall. Exo-King made a great impact on this match using his size and power, especially in battling Commander Sam. It was Omega, however, who would strike the biggest blow when he surprised Thantos with the Tomahawk Thrust for the pin. Thantos was seething with rage, chasing after the referee, while Omega and Sam celebrated a huge victory.
6) Comrade Terror (Cygnus) defeated Wolf (Andromeda 13) by DQ
* In what could have been the main event for the GWF Heavyweight title, instead was a standard singles match with Wolf taking on former champion Comrade Terror. The fortunes of both men changed heading into Colossal Conflicts 1 as Wolf lost his top contender series with Star Warrior while Terror dropped the championship to Massif at Deimos 24. That put both men in a foul mood going into this battle and it showed. They fought tooth and nail, literally, taking the action out of the ring a number of times. Wolf used the Savage Face Claw while Terror hit the feared Atomic Warhead but neither man could get the win. Wolf wound up costing himself when he assaulted the referee while going after Terror outside the ring. That led to Comrade Terror getting a disqualification victory in this intense confrontation.
7) GWF Tag Team Titles: Gladiators of Aethra© defeated The Greek Gods to retain the titles
* The GWF Tag Team titles were on the line as The Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, challenged their rivals the Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre, for the championship. The Greek Gods went in heavy underdogs having an 0-3-1 record against the Gladiators during the year. They were hoping to reverse that here and win the titles as well. Both teams engaged in a great battle with quick tags and near falls but it was a later turn by the Gladiators that fueled them. Actagon was busted open and in a bad way, especially after taking several finishers. Proteus, out of concern for his partner, refused to tag out and instead took the brunt of the attack. He fared very well, though, until Brute nailed him with the Decapitator for the pin. It was a successful version two title defense for the Gladiators of Aethra to close out 2087.
8) GWF Heavyweight Title: Star Warrior (Cetus) defeated Massif (Ceres) to win the title
* The main event was one for the ages as two good friends, and fellow members of the Federation Defense Fighters, squared off for the GWF Heavyweight title. It was Star Warrior of Cetus in the challengers position going against the newly crowned champion Massif of Ceres. This was a great bout from start to finish with both men unleashing high impact moves and scoring a pair of big near falls each. Massif used his power advantage to turn the tide several times and nearly won it with the Volcanic Drop. Star Warrior staged a late rally and hit the Nova Launch but Massif kicked out to a big pop from the crowd. Sensing victory in reach, Star Warrior went back up top and connected with a second Nova Launch for the pin.
It was a crowning moment for Star Warrior who ended 2087 as the new GWF Heavyweight champion. Massif grabbed the title belt and stared at it before handing it over to him. The two shook hands to big cheers from the crowd as Omega, Star Warrior’s father and the founder of the GWF, and Commander Sam joined them in celebration. With the GWF Heavyweight title strapped around his waist, Star Warrior will await his challengers going into 2088.
Injury Report:
* Pulsar suffered a concussion at the hands of Society of Death and after medical observation it was determined that he would likely be able to be cleared for the 2088 season. The Galaxian Commission has stated that the incident would be reviewed and any fines or suspensions would be announced on the first show of 2088.
