---'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase starts the show by offering his opponent, Sam Houston $20 to just take the count-out loss and go home. Houston smacks the money out of Virgil's hand, causing Dibiase to attack before the bell. Once the bell, rings, Dibiase applies the MILLION DOLLAR DREAM for the quick finish.



---Dream Team w/ Jimmy Hart get the win over The Conways when Beefcake hits the JUMPING HIGH KNEE on Conway Sr.



---In a hard-hitting match, Hacksaw Jim Duggan over Pampero Firpo w/ the FLYING SPEAR.



---Angelo Mosca def. Antonio Inoki by Count-Out after they were battling on the floor and Mosca posted Inoki. Afterwards, Inoki promised Mosca this was not over.



---Road Warriors over Buddy Rogers w/ Sensational Sherri & Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupree by DQ. The Roadies had George up for the DOOMSDAY DEVICE when Cherie sprayed hair spray in Animal's eyes causing the DQ.

Afterwards, as Andre was being presented with the check, he was jumped from behind by King Kong Bundy, Great Gama, & the Terrible Turk. Gama was able to toss Andre w/ his GAMA THROW before Yukon Eric & Bobo Brazil ran the heels off.

Challenges were thrown out and Card #2 will be headlined by a HUGE match....Andre/Yukon Eric/Bobo vs Gama/Bundy/Yusuf!!

Thanks for the comments bookerbill & TTX . The Gama feud will give me a little time to decide if I want to include Andre in my upcoming WWWF title tournament, though, I don't think things between the two will be settled by then.



Card #2 -- Madison Square Garden; NYC


---Once again, 'Million Dollar Man' Ted Dibiase started the show by offering his opponent, Scott Casey 10 $1 bills to just walk away and accept the count-out loss. When Casey refused, Virgil jumped him from behind. The bell rang and Dibiase quickly locked in the MILLION DOLLAR DREAM for the finish. Virgil stuffed a $1 bill in Casey's mouth for his troubles as the fans jeered the heels.



---in an exciting junior heavyweight match, Dynamite Kid pinned Tiger Mask after delivering a devastating Cobra Clutch Suplex for the finish.



---The dastardly Fabulous Moolah had her way with Ida Mae Martinez, winning w/ the JACK KNIFE CRADLE. Even though Moolah had this one well in hand, Beverly Shade still got involved whenever Moolah tossed Martinez to the floor.



---Buddy Rogers w/ Sensational Sherri got the win over Road Warrior Animal after Rogers locked in the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE for the finish. Animal fought the painful move for as long as he could and had his shoulders down so the ref counted the pinfall. Prior to this, Sherri tried to get involved and Rogers used this distraction to clip Animal's knee from behind.



---Reinforce the ring!!! In the Main Event, the team of Andre/Yukon Eric/Bobo Brazil def. Great Gama/Yousef Ismail/King Kong Bundy after Eric dropped Yusuf w/ the KODIAK KRUNCH. The match was a heated battle as the combatants squared off with each other. Andre and Gama battled on the floor with neither really getting better of the exchange. Bundy pulled Bobo off the ring apron and squashed him 'avalanche-style' against the ring post. In the ring, Eric and Yusuf went toe-to-toe before Eric gained the upper-hand and flattened the hated heel with his finisher.

Card #3 - Madison Square Garden; NYC

....Andre is interviewed at ringside to start the show....Andre predicts that he will withstand the challenge of the Great Gama and prevail in their feud....Gama came out as the two exchanged verbal jabs at each other before security could successfully separate the two....

---Gorilla Monsoon crushed Rip McCord in the opener, winning w/ the LANDSLIDE.



---Blackjack Mulligan takes down Billy Red Lyons w/ a huge Lariat. Lyons nearly got the win the SLEEPERHOLD but Mulligan was able to repeatedly ram Lyons back-first into the turnbuckle to shake him off. Lyons missed a turnbuckle charge and Mulligan responded w/ a Lariat for the finish.



---The very popular Antonio Rocca gets Alexis Smirnoff to submit to his ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER in an excellent match. An angry Smirnoff drops Rocca w/ the HEART PUNCH as the referee was raising Rocca's hand in victory. Smirnoff was booed out of the Garden and needed a police escort just to make it to the locker room.



---Angelo Mosca introduced The Sicilian as his partner after Antonio Inoki introduced Giant Baba as his partner for out next match. Inoki/Baba get DQ win after The Sicilian clocks Inoki with a steel chair. Tempers flared afterwards and challenges were thrown out as the two teams will meet during the WWWF title tournament card.



---In the Main Event, Yukon Eric caught King Kong Bundy charging into the turnbuckle w/ the KODIAK KRUNCH to pick up the win.



Dark Matches

A series of matches with the new TNT2 set.


Kurt Angle over Bob Backland in a Best 2 of 3 Falls match. Kurt wins 2 straight falls w/ the ANKLE LOCK as Backlund rolled snake eyes for both falls. Kurt hit his German Suplex add 1 move twice during both falls.

Gorilla Monsoon over Bob Backlund w/ the MANCHURIAN SLIDE as once again Backlund rolls snake eyes.

William Muldoon over Kurt Angle w/ a Double Shoulder Lock in a great match.

Don Carson gets a DQ win over Thunderbolt Patterson after getting smashed w/ a steel chair.

Bob Backlund over John Pesek w/ the CROSSFACE CHICKEN WING.

**Is it an omen that Backlund loses three falls with rolls of snake eyes?

Card #4 - Madison Square Garden; NYC

---'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase started the show again by offering his opponent, Koko B. Ware, cash to step aside and take the count-out loss. Virgil reached into his pocket and pulled out a crumpled $5 bill to offer Koko but the 'Birdman' smacked it out of Virgil's hand. Koko barely got his ring jacket off before Virgil jumped him from behind and planted him w/ the RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP unbeknownst to the referee. The bell rung and Dibiase quickly applied the MILLION DOLLAR DREAM for the finish. Virgil went to stuff the $5 bill in Koko's mouth but was chased out of the ring by Tony Atlas.



---Excellent tag bout as Ivan Koloff/Alexis Smirnoff take the win over Antonio Rocca/Ilio DiPaolo after Smirnoff crumples DiPaolo w/ the HEART PUNCH.



---Fabulous Moolah over Susan Green after Moolah cradles Green w/ the SMALL PACKAGE as Beverly Shade grabbed Green's legs to prevent her from kicking out.



---In a wild, bloody battle, Bobo Brazil gets the win over Yusuf Ismail hammering Yusuf with a Big Hammer Punch.



---in the Main Event, the Road Warriors score the win over Buddy Rogers/Gorgeous George after the referee barred Sensational Sherri from ringside after a distraction attempt and Precious Paul thwarted a distraction attempt from Cherie Dupree. George ended up eating the DOOMSDAY DEVICE for the finish.

**WWWF Championship Tournament**

---We get things started as Andre advances over 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase in what was a squash. Andre drops the BIG SPLASH for the finish and Virgil has to peel Dibiase off the mat.


---Iron Sheik advances over The Destroyer, winning w/ the CAMEL CLUTCH in a good bout.


---Blackjack Mulligan over Bobo Brazil w/ a huge Lariat off the ropes.


---'Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers submits Jimmy Snuka w/ the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE to end the first round.



---In non-tournament action, Susan Green/Ida Mae Martinez over Fabulous Moolah/Beverly Shade when Green crushes Shade w/ the TEXAS BULLDOG.



---Back to tournament action as Andre advances to the finals by squashing Iron Sheik w/ the BIG SPLASH.


---Buddy Rogers advances to the finals with a win over Blackjack Mulligan, winning w/ a Jumping Knee Smash.



---Antonio Inoki/Giant Baba over Angelo Mosca/The Sicilian after Baba drops Sicilian w/ the NECKBREAKER DROP.



---In the main event for the vacant WWWF title, Andre took down Buddy Rogers to win the tournament and the title! Andre overcome interference from Bobby Heenan and Ted DiBiase to go to win the match w/ the BIG SPLASH.

....At a post-show interview, Ted DiBiase vowed to take that title off of Andre....Dibiase put up a $25k bounty to any wrestler that can beat Andre for the WWWF title and forfeit the title to him....

Card #6 - Madison Square Garden; NYC

....'Million Dollar Man' Ted Dibiase starts the show by reiterating his $25k bounty on the newly crowned champion....Gama, Yusuf Ismail, & King Kong Bundy lumber down the aisle....Gama starts to accept Dibiase's bounty but Bundy grabs the house mike, accepting the challenge....Gama & Yusuf look at each other before staring down Bundy as he heads back up the ramp way....

---Gama/Yusuf take out their frustrations on Ron Hutchison/Jake Milliman in the opener as Yusuf chokes out Milliman w/ STRANGLEHOLD.


---Tiger Conway Jr gets a Count-Out win over Ted Dibiase as Tony Atlas comes down to ringside as Dibiase starts his heelish tactics during the match. Dibiase ran for the hills as Atlas gave chase. Virgil got in Jr's face after the match and paid for it as Jr sent him to the floor w/ the FLYING HEADBUTT.


---Gorilla Monsoon crushed Brad Armstrong in a squash w/ the MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE.


---Fabulous Moolah was able to keep Candi Divine down w/ the JACK KNIFE CRADLE. Moolah has started calling herself the uncrowned 'Women's champion.'


---Ivan Koloff/Alexis Smirnoff def. the Masked Killer Bees after Ivan turned MKB #2 inside out w/ the RUSSIAN SICKLE. The Bees tried 'Masked Confusion' but Ivan grabbed MKB #2's mask and turned it so his opponent could not see and delivered his devastating finisher to win the match.


---In the main event for the WWWF title, Andre retains over King Kong Bundy in his V1 defense w/ the BIG SPLASH. Afterwards, Ted Dibiase, who had been at ringside, promised that he has dozens of wrestlers from all over the territories lined up to collect on the bounty. Andre motioned for Dibiase to get in the ring but ted laughed him off and retreated to the back.

Card #7 - Madison Square Garden; NYC

---In the opener, Tony Atlas/Tiger Conway Jr over 'MDM' Ted Dibiase/Virgil after Jr dropped the FLYING HEADBUTT on Virgil. Dibiase tried to buy off Atlas/Jr but Tony chased him to the back and returned to make it a 2-on-1 Handicap match. Atlas hits the PRESS SLAM & SPLASH before tagging Jr in for the finish.


---Gorilla Monsoon crushes Sam Houston w/ the MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE as the Sicilian was at ringside scouting Monsoon.


---The Dream Team over the Armstrongs after BRUTUS drops Brad w/ the JUMPING HIGH KNEE.


---Sherri Martel makes her wrestling debut with a win over Toni Rose, winning w/ the TOP ROPE SPLASH.


---Antonio Inoki over Angelo Mosca after catching Mosca w/ the ENZUIGIRI to win their feud as Inoki goes back to Japan with his American tour over.


---In the main event for the WWWF title, Andre retains over Yusuf Ismail, winning w/ the BIG SPLASH. The Great Gama jumped Andre after the bell but the 'Boy from NYC' Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant runs down for the save.

Afterwards, Ted Dibiase was overheard telling Gama that we needed to wear Andre down and made a challenge on behalf of Gama/Yusuf for a couple of tag team matches, starting on the next card.

Card #8 - Madison Square Garden

---Gorilla Monsoon/The Sicilian take down Brian Christopher/Scott Taylor after Monsoon crushers Tayler w/ a Body Slam Toss into the turnbuckles. The Monsoon/Sicilian combo worked well together and could mount a very formidable challenge to any tag team out there.


---Ivan Koloff over Brad Armstrong w/ the RUSSIAN SICKLE.


---Dynamite Kid over Chris Candido w/ the DIVING HEADBUTT in a good jr heavyweight bout.


---Sherri Martel over Princess Victoria, winning w/ the TOP ROPE SPLASH.


---Bobo Brazil over Blackjack Mulligan by DQ after Mulligan is caught low-blowing Bobo in front of the referee. Afterwards, Mulligan applies his BLACKJACK CLAW until security is able to break it up.


---In the main event, Great Gama/Yusuf Ismail over Andre/'Boogie Woogie Man' Jimmy Valiant after Gama forces Valiant to submit w/ a Crushing Bear Hug.
