Card #19; MSG; NYC

---In the opener, Gorgeous George w/ Cherie Dupree steals a win from Jerry Brisco after Dupree sprayed Jerry in the eyes with hair spray and George followed w/ a Small Package w/ Tights for the finish.



---Iron Sheik/Nikolai Volkoff stay in the hunt for a tag title shot with a win over the Armstrongs, winning after Sheik traps Brad in the CAMEL CLUTCH for the finish.



---Blackjack Mulligan over The Sicilian w/ a Big Boot to the Face in a hard-hitting matchup. This match was a prelude to the Blackjacks getting their tag title shot against the champs on the next card.



---In the main event, Harley Race took on Mad Dog Vachon after the two went at each other verbally a couple of cards ago. Harley had Mad Dog up for the PILEDRIVER but Butcher Vachon jump Harley from behind. The Vachons beat down Harley before hauling him up for a SPIKE PILEDRIVER before Larry Hennig clears the ring. Harley is stretchered out as Mad Dog yells at anyone listening that he is indeed 'Da King Ov Da Piledrivah' to end the show.

Card #20 - MSG; NYC

---International Jr Champion, Tiger Mask was in town as he retained the title over Gorgeous George after hitting a Space Tiger Drop followed by the TIGER SUPLEX back in the ring for the finish. George had control of the match until interference from Cherie Dupree turned the tide of the match.



---'Boogie Woogie' Jimmy Valiant/Hillbilly Jim over the Masked Mr Xs' after Jim puts Mr X #2 down w/ a Big Boot to the Face.



---Butcher Vachon w/ Mad Dog Vachon at ringside, scores a win over Curt Hennig (Alt Card) after he hits the youngster w/ the HANGMAN. Larry Hennig quickly hits the ring to prevent any further attack.



---In the main event, Gorilla Monsoon/The Sicilian (c) vs The Blackjacks went to a DDQ after both teams went to the floor and started brawling around ringside. The referee had no choice but to throw the match out. As a result, Monsoon/Sicilian retain the WWWF tag team titles.

---Gorilla Monsoon plants Scott Casey w/ the MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE in a squash.


---Billy Red Lyons over Baron Von Raschke w/ a series of Rapid Fire Dropkicks.


---The Vachons over The Hennigs after Mad Dog takes down the young Curt Hennig (alt card) w/ a Mad Dog Pounce.


---In a great Main Event, 'Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers w/ Bobby Heenan gets the win over Yukon Eric after Rogers locks in the FIGURE-FOUR GRAPEVINE for the finish. Eric nearly won the match several times but Heenan was able to change the outcome to keep the match going. With the win, Rogers gets a WWWF title shot against champion, Bob Backlund.

---In the opener, crowd favorites, 'Boogie Woogie Man' Jimmy Valiant/Hillbilly Jim got the win over the Quebecers after Jim locked Jacques in the BEAR HUG & Valiant came off the ropes w/ a Running Elbow Smash for the finish.



---Sgt Slaughter goes over Baron Von Raschke w/ the COBRA CLUTCH but gets jumped afterwards by Iron Sheik/Nicolai Volkoff before the heels are chased away by several wrestlers from the back.



---Yukon Eric rebounds from his loss last week with a win over Bobby Heenan; dropping the heel wrestler/manager w/ the KODIAK KRUNCH for the finish.



---In the Main Event, Gorilla Monsoon/The Sicilian retain the WWWF tag championship over the Blackjacks when Sicilian caught Blackjack Lanza w/ the SICILIAN SLAM.

....Huge match next week as Bob Backlund puts the WWWF championship up against 'Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers in the main event....

---In the opener, Hillbilly Jim gets the win over Johnny Rodz w/ a Big Boot to the Face for the finish. Afterwards, the Quebecers nail the fan favorite from Kentucky w/ the TOWER OF QUEBEC before 'Boogie Woogie Man' Jimmy Valiant chases the heels away from the ring.



---Sgt Slaughter gets a DQ win over Nikolai Volkoff after Slaughter locks in the COBRA CLUTCH and Iron Sheik blasts him from behind w/ his Loaded Boot. Sheik locks Slaughter in the CAMEL CLUTCH as Volkoff kicks Sarge in the face repeatedly until the face locker room empties to make the save. Sarge has be to be helped to the back and is injured for 4 cards.



---The Fabulous Kangaroos w/ Wild Red Berry get the win over the Fantastics after hitting Tommy Rogers w/ the BOOMERANG in a great match.



---In the Main Event for the WWWF Championship, Bob Backlund (c) retains over 'Nature Boy' Buddy Rogers after Backlund lands the ATOMIC DROP on his challenger. Bobby Heenan is a hair too late to make the save.

....Another big main event next week for Card #24 as Harley Race returns to the ring and battles Mad Dog Vachon in a Steel Cage Match....

---Iron Sheik dominates Sam Houston in the opener, winning w/ the CAMEL CLUTCH. Afterwards, Nikolai Volkoff belts out the Soviet Union national anthem as the heels stand over the downed Houston causing boos to rain down from the crowd.



---Jimmy Snuka picks up a win over The Sicilian after landing a Flying Headbutt for the finish.



---The Fabulous Kangaroos over Antonio Rocca/Ilio DiPaolo after they hit DiPaolo w/ the BOOMERANG.



---In the Main Event inside a Steel Cage, Mad Dog Vachon pulls the upset over Harley Race after dropping Harley with consecutive PILEDRIVERS. Bloody brawl with the cage used many times during the match. Afterwards, Vachon claims victory in this feud.

....Two big title matches headline Card #25 as Bob Backlund defends the WWWF title against Superstar Billy Graham and Gorilla Monsoon/Sicilain defend the WWWF tag titles against 'Boogie Woogie Man' Jimmy Valiant/Hillbilly Jim....
