---The Quebecers dominate Bruiser Costa/Ron Hutchison in the opener, winning w/ the TOWER OF QUEBEC.
---Iron Sheik submitted Ilio DiPaolo w/ the CAMEL CLUTCH as Nikolai Volkoff brawled with Antonio Rocca at ringside.
---In a Texas Death Match, Blackjack Mulligan went over Dusty Rhodes after loading his elbow pad and delivering a brutal Lariat that sent Rhodes over the top rope to the arena floor. Rhodes couldn't answer the 10-count, giving the win to Mulligan.
---For the WWWF tag team championships, Gorilla Monsoon/The Sicilian (c) retained over 'Boogie Woogie Man' Jimmy Valiant/Hillbilly Jim after Monsoon landed the MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE on Valiant for the finish. Afterwards, the Quebecers jumped Valiant/Jim from behind and left them laying with Piledrivers in the middle of the ring.
---In the Main Event for the WWWF championship, Superstar Billy Graham got the win over Bob Backlund (c) w/ the SUPERSTAR BEARHUG after Backlund missed a turnbuckle charge and tumbled over the ring post to the floor, landing back first In the process. After repeated kicks & stomps to Backlund' back, Graham tossed Bob back in the ring and locked on the SSBH for the win. The fans were not happy with Superstar's win and let him know it as he paraded around the ring with the title belt.

---Blackjack Mulligan wins a Handicap match over Jake Milliman & Johnny Rodz after pinning Rodz w/ a Big Boot to the Face.
---The Fantastics and the Masked Killer Bees go to a 20-minute TLD in a great match.
---Bob Backlund gets back in the win column going over Blackjack Lanza, winning w/ the CROSSFACE CHICKEN WING.
---Jimmy Snuka gets a huge win over tag team champ, Gorilla Monsoon after landing the SUPERFLY LEAP for the finish. Snuka has a win over both tag champs and will get a tag team title shot; teaming with a mystery partner.
---In the Main Event, Iron Sheik/Nikolai Volkoff go over Antonio Rocca/Ilio DiPaolo by Count-Out in a hotly contested match. Sheik tosses DiPaolo to the floor and distracts the referee while Volkoff drops DiPaolo with the BACKBREAKER DROP to set up the finish.
Afterwards, Volkoff is belting out the Soviet national anthem only to get interrupted by the Marine Corp Hymn and the returning Sgt Slaughter....the fans go nuts as Slaughter challenges Sheik to a Boot Camp match for Card #30.

---In a battle of big men, Tony Atlas gets an impressive win over Dan Spivey, winning w/ the PRESS SLAM & SPLASH.
---In the Main Event; Bob Backlund/Ken Shamrock def. 'Superstar' Billy Graham/Adrian Adonis after Backlund drops Adonis w/ the ATOMIC DROP.

Card #28; MSG; NYC --- Larry Zbyszko over the Brooklyn Brawler, winning w/ the PILEDRIVER in a short match. Afterwards, an angry Mad Dog Vachon marched to the ring, yelling at Zbyszko for stealing his finisher. Larry invites Vachon in to the ring but Butcher jumps Larry from behind. Mad Dog leaves Larry laying w/ his version of the PILEDRIVER. --- 'Boogie Woogie Man' Jimmy Valiant/Hillbilly Jim go over the Quebecers after Jim forces Pierre to submit to the BEARHUG. --- Sgt Slaughter does a number on Nikolai Volkoff, finally finishing the big Russian off w/ the COBRA CLUTCH. --- Blackjack Mulligan takes down Mike Rotunda, winning w/ a huge Lariat. ---In the Main Event, the Fabulous Kangaroos w/ Red Berry take down Gorilla Monsoon/The Sicilian after they hit the BOOMERANG on Sicilian to win the WWWF tag titles. |

....It was announced to the crowd that Bruno Sammartino would be the next challenger for Superstar Billy Graham's WWWF title at Card #33. SSBG raced to the ring to protest to no avail as the crowd was in a jubilant mood. SSBG demanded someone come down to the ring so he can show these idiots who a real champion is....
---Superstar Billy Graham punished Sam Houston before putting him away w/ the SUPERSTAR BEARHUG in under 5-minutes.
---Mad Dog Vachon dumped SD Jones on his head w/ the PILEDRIVER. Vachon kept calling out Larry Zbyszko's name after every move he hit Jones with.
---Iron Sheik forces Don Kernodle to submit to the CAMEL CLUTCH.
---InterContinental Champion, Pat Patterson retained his title over Ilio DiPaolo, winning w/ his BOMBS AWAY finisher.
---In the Main Event, Stan Hansen/Bruiser Brody vs The Sheepherders went to a DDQ for a second time. It appears their third match is headed to the friendly confines of a steel cage. |
