Card #9 - MSG; NYC ....'MDM' Ted DiBiase opened the show, telling the crowd he had a little surprise for Andre for the main event....This surprise will definitely soften Andre up for his title match against the Great Gama on Card #10.... --- 'Boogie Woogie Man' Jimmy Valiant takes the win over Frank Dalton in the opener, winning w/ a Running Elbow Smash. --- Gorilla Monsoon/The Sicilian over the Masked Killer Bees after the Sicilian caught MKB #2 w/ the SICILIAN SLAM. --- Fabulous Moolah over Ida Mae Martinez w/ the BODY PRESS. ---In a No-DQ Grudge match, Bobo Brazil takes the hard-fought win over Blackjack Mulligan, winning w/ a COCO BUTT that sent Mulligan flying off the ring apron and into the security railing at ringside. ---In the non-title main event, Dibiase's surprise turned out to be Abdullah the Butcher. However, Andre still managed to pin Abdullah w/ a Sit-Down Splash. Afterwards, Gama came charging down to the ring and took Andre down w/ the GAMA THROW with assistance from Yusuf Ismail. Abby took out his trusty fork and began to carve Andre up as Gama and Yusuf held the champ down. Tons of security tried to break things up but finally, it was Bobo Brazil, swinging a steel chair, that cleared the ring. Andre had to be helped to the back but told the crowd he would get his revenge. ....Card #10 will feature Andre (c) vs Gama with the WWWF title at stake.... |

Card #10 - MSG; NYC --- Bob Backlund makes his return to MSG with a win over Bill White, winning w/ the CROSSFACE CHICKEN WING. --- Sherri Martel over Malia Hosaka w/ the TOP ROPE SPLASH. --- Gorilla Monsoon/The Sicilian crush the New Age Outlaws after Monsoon flattens BG James w/ the MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE. --- Abdullah the Butcher wins a bloody bout over The Sandman after dropping the SUDANESE MEAT CLEAVER from the ring apron on his opponent as Sandman was laying on the arena floor. ---In the main event, Great Gama took the WWWF Championship off Andre (c), winning w/ the GAMA THROW as Ted DiBiase/Virgil held both of Andre's legs for the cheap win. Andre got jumped prior to the match by Gama, Dibiase, and the Terrible Turk. Bobo Brazil ran down to help Andre out but got bloodied by Abdullah the Butcher. Andre was in a bad way to start the match (added 2 to his starting pin total) but still held his own. Gama was finally able to hit his finisher as Dibiase/Virgil held his legs (snake eyes) to prevent the kickout. |

Card #11 - MSG; NYC ....'MDM' Ted DiBiase was ecstatic that he was the sole reason that Andre lost the championship title....Dibiase starts celebrating when he is told that Andre is starting a world-wide tour....That celebration soon sours when he's told that he will face Andre in a handicap match with Virgil as his partner.... --- Sherri Martel/Jazz over Beverly Shade/Toni Rose w/ Fabulous Moolah after Martel lands her TOP ROPE SPLASH finisher on Rose. Moolah took notes throughout the match and did not get involved in the match at all. --- Bob Backlund over The Sicilian w/ the ATOMIC DROP. ---The Masked Killer Bees take a win over Bob Orton Sr/Iron Mike Dibiase after MKB #1 puts Orton Sr to sleep w/ the SLEEPER. ---In an exciting jr heavyweight bout, Dynamite Kid over Jerry Brisco, winning w/ a Hooking Clothesline. The two shook hands afterwards to a loud cheer from the fans. ---In the main event handicap match, Andre over Ted DiBiase/Virgil after crushing Virgil w/ the BIG SPLASH. Afterwards, Dibiase tried to run away but gets caught by Bobo Brazil/Jimmy Valiant and thrown back into the ring. Andre roughs Dibiase up before crushing him w/ the BIG SPLASH. The fans give the big man a huge send-off as Andre starts touring other promotions. |

Card #12 - MSG; NYC --- Tiger Mask/Jushin 'Thunder' Liger over Dynamite Kid/Jerry Brisco after TM hits Brisco w/ the TIGER SUPLEX for the finish in an exciting match. --- 'Boogie Woogie Man' Jimmy Valiant over Virgil w/ a series of Roundhouse Punches in a squash. ---In a Texas Death Match, Superstar Billy Graham forced a bloody Dusty Rhodes to submit to the SUPERSTAR BEARHUG. ---In a heated battle, Fabulous Moolah gets the better of Jazz w/ the BODY PRESS and a handful of trunks to steal a win. Afterwards, Moolah declares herself to be the 'uncrowned' Women's champion and demands to declared the champion by the WWWF. ---In the main event, Great Gama retains the WWWF Championship with a DQ win over Gorilla Monsoon. An even battle between the two behemoths until the action went to the floor and The Sicilian blasted Gama with the title belt in front of the referee. |

Card #13 - MSG; NYC ---In the opener, Iron Sheik/Nikolai Volkoff dominate Bruiser Costa/Jake Milliman after Sheik forces Milliman to submit to the CAMEL CLUTCH. ---Newly crowned International Jr champion Tiger Mask retained his title over Tommy Rogers w/ the TIGER SUPLEX in a good bout. --- Bob Backlund over Blackjack Mulligan, winning w/ a Backbreaker followed by the ATOMIC DROP. ---In the main event, Superstar Billy Graham over The Destroyer w/ the SUPERSTAR BEARHUG in a great bout. |

Card #14 - MSG; NYC .... 1st Round: WWWF TT Tournament.... --- Iron Sheik/Nikolai Volkoff take down the Destroyer/Tiger Mask after Volkoff puts TM down w/ the BACKBREAKER DROP. Afterwards, Tiger Mask floors Sheik/Volkoff w a Space Flying Tiger Drop who were taunting their opponents outside the ring. ---The Fantastics advance over the Dream Team w/ Jimmy Hart after a Hart interference attempt went wrong and he nailed Brutus with his megaphone. The Fantastics hit the ROCKET LAUNCHER on Beefcake for the finish. ---The Vachons over the Briscos after Mad Dog nearly puts Jerry through the canvas w/ the PILEDRIVER. Great bout that saw both Jerry and Butcher wearing the crimson mask. --- Gorilla Monsoon/The Sicilian take down the Blackjacks after Monsoon hits the MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE on Blackjack Lanza to advance to the semi-finals. |

Card #15 - MSG; NYC --- Blackjack Mulligan forces Hacksaw Duggan to submit in the opener w/ the BLACKJACK CLAW. ---In the first tag tourney semi-final, Iron Sheik/Nikolai Volkoff steal a win over the Fantastics to advance to the finals. The Fantastics had just hit the ROCKET LAUNCHER on Volkoff when Sheik blasted Tommy Rogers w/ his Loaded Boot as the referee was counting the pinfall. Volkoff manages to tag Sheik in who clamps on the CAMEL CLUTCH for the win. ---In the second tag semi-final, Gorilla Monsoon/The Sicilian crush The Vachons after Monsoon lands the MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE on Butcher to advance to the final. --- WWWF Championship: Bob Backlund def. the Great Gama (c) to win the title after lifting the now former champ up for the ATOMIC DROP. Afterwards, Superstar Billy Graham demands to face Backlund for the title. |

Card #16 - MSG; NYC --- Jimmy Valiant takes down Steve Regal, winning w/ the BOOGIE WOOGIE ELBOW. --- Gorgeous George trips up Bliiy Red Lyons after locking in the SPINNING TOE HOLD. Cherie Dupree provided the distraction to turn the momentum of the match in George's favor. --- The Vachons take a win over the Masked Killer Bees after Mad Dog plants MKB #2 w/ the PILEDRIVER. ---In a Texas Death Match, Bruiser Brody over Ox Baker after Brody wraps his steel chain around his knee and delivers a crushing JUMPING KNEE DROP to Ox' forehead. Ox was not able to answer the ten count, giving Bruiser the win. --- WWWF tag title tournament final: Gorilla Monsoon/The Sicilian win the tournament and the vacant titles with a win over Iron Sheik/Nikolai Volkoff. Monsoon nearly crushed Volkoff w/ the MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE but Nikolai was barely able to get a shoulder up. The Sicilian gets the tag and follows w/ several Kneedrops as Monsoon keeps Sheik at bay for the finish. Monsoon/Sicilian are the new tag team champions. |

Card #17; MSG; NYC --- Harley Race makes an appearance at the Garden with a win over Wild Bill White. Race puts White down w/ the PILEDRIVER for the finish. Afterwards, Mad Dog Vachon rushes the ring and accuses Race of stealing 'his' PILEDRIVER finisher. Vachon claims to be 'Da King ov da Piledrivah' and will prove it to Harley. --- The Blackjacks take down the Armstrongs after Lanza plants Brad w/ a Texas Brainbuster. --- Sherri Martel gets a huge win over Fabulous Moolah after she lands the TOP ROPE SPLASH as an interference attempt by Beverly Shade backfires on Moolah. --- WWWF Championship: Bob Backlund (c) retains over Superstar Billy Graham by DQ after the Grand Wizard is caught raking Backlund's eyes as SSBG had Bob in the SUPERSTAR BEAR HUG. Huge rematch coming up between these two. |

Card #18; MSG; NYC ---The Moondogs make their debut with a win over Sam Houston/Scott Casey after they get away w/ SMASH WITH BONE on Casey. --- The Quebecers take down The Hennigs after they drop Curt (alt card) w/ the TOWER OF QUEBEC for the finish. --- Fabulous Moolah/Beverly Shade over Sherri Martel/Rockin Robin, winning when Moolah used her JACK KNIFE CRADLE and her feet on the ropes to pin Robin. ---The Blackjacks go over Jimmy Valiant/Hillybilly Jim after Mulligan forces the Boogie Woogie Man to submit to the BLACKJACK CLAW. With the win, Mulligan/Lanza earn a tag title shot. ---In the main event, the Fantastics battled the Sheepherders to a wild DDQ after the match went to the floor. The two teams battered each other around ringside as the referee had seen enough to DQ both teams. |
