Piper seemed to lack focus, as Snuka was able to secure the win this time.
Jimmy Snuka won by pinfall with a Backbreaker in a time of 2:07.

"Mr Perfect" Curt Hennig VS Iron Sheik
Perfect was less than perfect here, as Sheik managed to get the duke in this one.
Iron Sheik won with his Finisher - CAMEL CLUTCH in a time of 9:13.

Bobo Brazil VS Harley Race
Race had difficulty as Brazil could do no wrong and picked up the win.
Bobo Brazil won with a Bobo Bodyslam in a time of 8:00.

Taking no prisoners in this one, Brody got an easy victory in this one.
Bruiser Brody won with a Piledriver in a time of 6:15.

Duggan was not at his best, as Thesz got a quick win here.

Curtis could not counter the Bull's raging attack, as Manny got the victory in this one.

Backlund faltered against the younger Angle, as Angle managed to secure the win here.

Some really cool pairings for this tag title tournament... I'd love to see Rhino & RVD take the gold, but those Roadies are gonna be tough to beat.

Rogers & Snuka vs. Muraco & Piper was probably a volatile match... I actually have Muraco & Snuka teamed up in my Legends fed - 2X Universal tag champs and 1X Tag Team of the Year... But, I think their partnership might be coming to an end fairly soon.

"Well, ladies and gentlemen," he began with a soft-sounding voice. "This federation will be crowning its first-ever Tag Team Champions tonight. Also, I have an opportunity tonight to display my scientific knowhow and just might become the Heavyweight Champion of this fine organization.

"I am grateful for this honor, and we will see just who is the better man tonight. I know the Champion, the Iron Sheik, is a talented man, and we have had many matches over the years, but tonight is something special. I can feel it in the air. I only have this to say to the Iron Sheik:

Mick Foley was in the ring, holding onto the new HoF Hardcore Championship Belt. A smile crossed his face as he started to speak to the audience:

"Hey, guys and dolls! It's YOUR Commissioner, Mick Foley here. Have I got a real piece of beautiful craftmanship here! It's the new Hardcore Champship, and I certainly know something about Hardcore Championships, don't i?

"This will be awarded to the the most hardcore, meanest son of an unnamed goat that the federation has, or my name isn't Mick Foley!

"Round One of the tournament is tonight, with the rest of the rounds on the next fight card! I can't wait to get this started, so why don't we get things started, like they used to say on the old 'Muppet Show'?"

Foley waved to the crowd, abruptly ending what he was talking about, as he walked back up the aisle...
