While I patiently wait (or not so patiently wait, LOL) for my latest order to arrive, I figured I'd get all prepared and set up my Hall of Fame Federation!

Thanks for the "Thumbs Up", everyone! Glad this is getting at least a LITTLE buzz...

Anyway, since LoW Madness is in B&W, I figured I'd find color artwork for those guys and slap my fed logo in the background! That will be for tomorrow.


Today, I went with a couple of the RoH guys I have, so here ya go!  There is more to come:

Team Angle is going to do amazing things, just you wait and see!

These look PHENOMENAL! (And everyone knows I don't use that term lightly.) I was never a big fan of integrated tag team artwork that doesn't really work if you split up the pair... Nice work!

I found some artwork for Lanny Poffo, and added my fed's logo! The artwork wasn't that great in terms of quality, but it works:

Hall of Fame Federation CARD #1

"Hello, humanoids! Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan here if you couldn't guess!

It's time for my men, the Italian Connection, to take over this so-called federation! They have the muscle. They have the intelligence. They have the motivation. And, of course, they have The Brain! Soon enough, they will have the Tag Belts, or even both the Intercontinental Belt and the Heavyweight Belt!

The rest of these so-called 'legends' are only ham-and-egg'ers, so we will see if I'm right or if I'm wrong! It's only a matter of time!"


Round 1 of the HoF Heavyweight Tournament
Winner gets the Heavyweight Belt, runner-up gets the Intercontinental Belt

ROUND 1

"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka VS Gorilla Monsoon
A fairly easy match for the Superfly, as Monsoon was slow out of the gate.
Jimmy Snuka won with his Finisher - SUPERFLY DEATHLEAP in a time of 2:25.

Thunderbolt Patterson VS "Rowdy" Roddy Piper
Patterson was no match for the crafty veteran Piper, as Piper got the victory here.
Roddy Piper won with his Finisher - SLEEPER in a time of 3:20.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage VS "Mr Perfect" Curt Hennig
Hennig played possum, then made a great comeback to take the victory in this one.
Curt Henning won with his Finisher - HENNIG (PERFECT-)PLEX in a time of 7:07.

"Leaping" Lanny Poffo VS Iron Sheik
Poffo had no offense against the Iranian olympic star, as Sheik made short work of Poffo here.
Iron Sheik won with his Finisher - CAMEL CLUTCH in a time of just 0:53!

Bobo Brazil VS Nikolai Volkoff
Volkoff nearly got the win, but Brazil held him off until he was able to secure the victory.
Bobo Brazil won with a Bearhug in a time of 13:46.

Road Warrior Hawk VS Harley Race
Hawk threw everything at Race, but Race's cool exterior weathered the storm and came out on top.
Harley Race won with his Finisher - VERTICAL SUPLEX in a time of 8:14.

Rhino VS Louis Albano
Albano seemed distracted as Rhino unloaded moves on him and got the win this time.
Rhino won with his Finisher - GORE! in a time of 5:59.

Road Warrior Animal VS Bruiser Brody
A brutal match unfolded, with Brody managing to out-lash the Road Warrior this time around.
Bruiser Brody won with his Finisher - JUMPING KNEE DROP in a time of 12:04.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan VS Charlie Haas
A good, even match here with Duggan getting his hand raised when it was all over.
Jim Duggan won with his Finisher - FLYING SPEAR in a time of 5:06.

Lou Thesz VS Shelton Benjamin
Benjamin gave Thesz a bit of a scare as he nearly got a quick upset, but Thesz did manage to win in this one.
Lou Thesz won with an Airplane Spin in a time of 3:31.

"Rocker" Marty Janetty VS Don Curtis
Janetty made a few mistakes which cost him in this match against Curtis.
Don Curtis won with his Finisher - SLEEPER in a time of 1:59.

Rob Van Dam VS "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez
The Raging Bull managed to ground RVD's aerial attack and pick up the victory here.
Manny Fernandez won with a Sleeper in a time of 3:48.

Bob Backlund VS Don "The Rock" Muraco
A classic match between WWF veterans that had Backlund defeat his old rival in this one.
Bob Backlund won with an Underhook Suplex in a time of 4:56.

2 Cold Scorpio VS Kurt Angle
Having none of what Scorpio was dishing out, Angle wore down his foe and get the win.
Kurt Angle won with his Finisher - ANKLE LOCK in a time of 3:12.

"Mr USA" Tony Atlas VS Gorgeous George
With the crowd support behind him, Atlas managed to get the victory in this one.
Tony Atlas won with a Big Dropkick in a time of 1:18.

"Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers VS "Million $ Man" Ted DiBiase
Buddy Rogers fended off DiBiase's attack and secured the win in a very good match.
Buddy Rogers won with his Finisher - FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE in a time of 11:21.

Stellar opening round! A little disappointed that two of my favorite Legends, Randy Savage and RVD, failed to advance... Really looking forward to the next round... Particularly Snuka vs. Piper, Brazil vs. Race and Backlund vs. Angle, assuming the draw order remains unchanged... Fun stuff!
