Let's kick off another HoF Fed year! It'll be a banner year, that's for sure!

Hall of Fame Federation CARD #11:

Commissioner Mick Foley was in the ring as the lights came up and the cameras started rolling.

"Hello, everyone! As you know, I am Commissioner Mick Foley! We're about to kick off another year of this great fed, and I just wanted to talk about something that's been bothering me over the holidays:

"It was my understanding that Don "The Rock" Muraco was to do a 'face turn' at the last Pay-Per-View, but that's not what happened. Surprisingly, one of my all-time favorites, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, turned heel instead. I can't tell you the amount of shock and utter disbelief that struck me as I watched that all unfold. Unfortunately, the "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers is out due to an injury from the incident. Everyone here hopes for a speedy recovery.

"To Mr. Snuka, all that I have to say is -- Karma will get you one day. What goes around, comes around, and you will get yours. I am so disappointed in you, and I --"

Foley was interrupted by "Rowdy" Roddy Piper on the big videoscreen. "Foley, won't you ever SHUT UP? Don't make me come down there and shut you up myself!"

Mick Foley smiled and listened, willing to hear Piper's rant, for the moment at least.

"Jimmy Snuka doesn't care what you think, what the fans think, or what anyone in professional wrestling thinks! And as for Muraco, he's not going anywhere! He's staying right where he belongs!"

Foley responded, "Remember what I said about karma, Piper. It doesn't only apply to Snuka. Things may be this way for now, but the future is always in question."

Piper, not having any clue as to what the cryptic message here was, said, "Snuka's not going to change. Muraco is not going to change. And I sure as hell ain't gonna change!"

Foley said, "Change is all we have. And, to repeat something a certain someone used to like to say, 'Whether you like it or don't like it, learn to love it'! Change is in the air, Piper, and there isn't anything you can do about it.

"Now with that out of the way, let's start the night's matches, shall we?"

Commissioner Foley called for the bell and the matches got underway...

"Leaping" Lanny Poffo VS George "The Animal" Steele
Poffo did not stand a chance against the debuting Steele, as Steele quickly won here.
George Steele won with his Finisher - FLYING HAMMERLOCK in just 0:40!

2 Cold Scorpio VS Harley Race
In a fairly quick match, Race got the victory without breaking a sweat in this one.
Harley Race won with his Finisher - VERTICAL SUPLEX in a time of 3:35.

Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid (British Bulldogs) VS Don Muraco & Jimmy Snuka
A fun match that frustrated Snuka, as he was DQed to give the debuting Bulldogs the win.
The Bulldogs won when Jimmy Snuka was disqualified against Dynamite in a time of 5:12.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan VS Bruiser Brody
A tough Duggan only went so far, as Brody got the upper hand and took home the victory in this one.
Bruiser Brody won with a One Hand Bodyslam in 7:58.

Rhino VS Iron Sheik - STEEL CAGE
Sheik was slow to start, as Rhino forged ahead and got a big win here.
Rhino won after using his Finisher - GORE! in a time of 9:51.

"Mr USA" Tony Atlas VS "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff
Koloff's first match in the fed was not good for the one-time WWWF champ, as Atlas got a fast victory.
Tony Atlas won with a Big Dropkick in 1:59.

HoF StarFighter Tag Champs Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin
VS Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine (w/Johnny V) - Non-Title Bout
Getting the stolen Belts back here, Haas put away Valentine to take back the stolen gold Belts.
Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin won when Haas used his Finisher - HAAS OF PAIN on Valentine in a time of 6:46.

Rob Van Dam VS "Million $ Man" Ted DiBiase
Brawling early got both of them DQed in this one.
Both wrestlers were disqualified in a time of 2:04.

HoF Intercontinental Champ Lou Thesz VS "Mr Perfect" Curt Hennig - Non-Title Bout
Hennig thought he had a winning combination, but it was not meant to be as Thesz went on to win this.
Lou Thesz won with his Finisher - THESZ PRESS in a time of 3:48.

Animal & Hawk (Legion of Doom) w/P.Ellering
VS Gorilla Monsoon & Lou Albano (The Italian Connection) w/B.Heenan
Heenan's gameplan was the factor that won this one, as the LoD was left holding a loss here.
Gorilla Monsoon & Louis Albano won when Monsoon used a Backbreaker on Animal in a time of 13:52.

HoF Heavyweight Champ Bob Backlund VS Nikolai Volkoff - Non-Title Bout
Volkoff was on the verge of a major upset, but Backlund squashed all of the Russian's hopes.
Bob Backlund won with his Finisher - ATOMIC DROP in a time of 6:49.

Kurt Angle VS "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez
Fernandez was stunned by a fairly fast loss here, as Angle was well-prepared for this match.
Kurt Angle won with an Overhead Belly-to-Belly in a time of 1:51.

HoF Hardcore Champ "Rowdy" Roddy Piper VS "Macho Man" Randy Savage - TITLE BOUT
It looked like Piper was distracted by his teammates' earlier loss, and Savage managed to get the win here!
Randy Savage won with his Finisher - FLYING ELBOW DROP in a time of 8:40, thus Randy Savage is the NEW HoF Hardcore Champion for the first time!!

ADRIAN ADONIS BLOCKS SIGNING OF SPIVEY TO HoF!

Rumors have it that Jim Cornette was ready to sign the former Skyscaper, Dan Spivey, to a contract, but Adonis has done everything in his power to stop it! The bad blood between Adonis and Spivey stem from a fight backstage back in the old WWF days when Spivey went off-script and refused to lose to Adonis. Later, the two fought backstage, with Adonis needing over 200 stitches at the time!

Spivey talked about it in a recent interview, so apparently Adonis is still angry over the incident.

Jim Cornette, the new Commissioner of the HoF Wingman Division, was all smiles, standing in the ring with his team, the Midnight Express! He had good reason to be happy, since he is now running things in the Wingman Division. Of course, Mr. Cornette felt like gloating about it...

"What a great day it is, huh Bobby? The Midnight Express is set to win gold, and there ain't nothing that that goof Shiavone or that geek David Crockett can do about it, haha!

"Welcome to what wrestling should be! Don't even think about changing the channel because Mick Foley isn't winning any more Heavyweight Belts for you to be curious about!

"We are going to start the night off with the first round of the tournament for the Wingman Belt! Don't worry, Bobby and Stan. You guys received byes for the first round!

"This is the greatest day since the Horsemen threw Sting out their fine group, I can tell you that! I've talked enough for now, but be sure that things are only looking up for the Midnight Express! I can't wait till Bubba is back at my side! I think I will have to call my Mama and get that arranged!"

With that, Cornette shut up for once and let the matches get underway...

Rogers made one mistake that cost him the match, as Lane capitalized on won here.

BIG BUBBA ROGERS A NO-SHOW FOR CORNETTE?

Commissioner Jim Cornette has expressed interest in regaining the services of his former bodyguard, Big Bubba Rogers. Wrestling fans are aware that Bubba had left Cornette for greener pastures in the WWF back in the day.

A recent sighting of Bubba was unconfirmed, with an off-camera chat with a fan that asked him if he was going to go back to Cornette's side.

Rogers told the fan that he was scheduled to appear on the next fight card with Cornette, but that he did not show because of contractual agreements elsewhere.

Is it only a matter of time before Bubba returns to Cornette's side, or will the Powers That Be not allow it?

BRUISER BRODY TO RETIRE?

Ted DiBiase was in the ring, angry about something. He let his feelings known right away when the lights came up and the cameras were on him.

"Randy Savage," DiBiase started as he pointed at the television camera. "You've been avoiding me long enough! Tonight, I finally get my shot at you and your Hardcore Belt!

"Let me summarize it all, real simple: Tonight, I'm taking your Belt. Tomorrow, I'm taking your WOMAN! When I make Elizabeth an offer, she won't say 'no', because as we all know... everybody has a price... for the Million Dollar Man!"

He proceeded up the rampway, laughing his characteristic, evil laugh as always. The matches for the night were about to begin --


"Leaping" Lanny Poffo VS Iron Sheik
Poffo was in no shape to win this, as Sheik had it won early but toyed with his foe in the first bout.
Iron Sheik won with a Sidewinder Suplex in 6:06.

Duggan must have been nursing a hidden neck injury as Hennig won this easily.
Curt Hennig won with a Rolling Neck Snap in just 0:54!

A good bout with action back-and-forth, but RVD finally got the win for his team here.

Steele did not want to face the superior Bulldog here and lost this one.

A bloody match as these two went at it, with 2 Cold getting the victory this time.
2 Cold Scorpio won with a Handspring Kick in a time of 8:47.

A major upset here, as Koloff managed to acheive the seemingly impossible and got the win here.
Ivan Koloff won with his Finisher - RUSSIAN SICKLE in a time of 2:43.

HoF StarFighter Tag Champs Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin VS Don "The Rock" Muraco & "Rowdy" Roddy Piper - Non-Title Bout
An intense battle was underway here but when the dust settled, the Tag Champs got the duke.
Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin won when Benjamin won over Piper after Haas' tag Finisher - LEAP OF FAITH in a time of 11:06.

Although it looked like a sure Atlas victory, it was Volkoff that surprised the crowd by getting the win.

Angle got off to a quick start, but it was not enough as the Champ came back to win this one.

In a surprisingly fast match, Dynamite quickly put away Race this time around.
Dynamite Kid won with his Finisher - DIVING HEADBUTT in a time of just 0:45!

As one might expect from a match with these two, both were DQed fairly early to end this one.

Lou Thesz has stated in private conversations with Commissioner Mick Foley that he wants a shot at Bob Backlund's StarFighter Heavyweight Belt.

Thesz is displeased with his loss to the Iron Sheik at the end of the Heavyweight Tournament to crown the first-ever Heavyweight Champion, and he wishes to redeem himself. Foley, on the other hand, has found that Backlund is more popular than ever, and Foley does not wish to upset the Champion Backlund with a request to sign a contract against Thesz.

Will Foley find a way out of this jam, or is Thesz going to stay passified as second banana, and for how long?

MIDNIGHT VS R-N-R STIPULATION

With the Wingman Heavyweight Tournament concluding shortly, all eyes have turned to the possible match-up of the Rock-n-Roll Express going against the Midnight Express in the Wingman Tag Tournament that is coming up.

Both teams are confident of victory, but Jim Cornette has stated that he wishes to up the ante a bit! He has not disclosed details of what he has in mind, but rumors are going around that he wants a "Hair VS Retirement" match for the teams when they meet in the tournament. Reliable sources say that Jim Cornette is willing to have his head shaved BALD if his team loses, while the R-n-R would need to retire if they lose.

The wrestling world will have to wait for some kind of official announcement from Cornette or his office on the matter, however...

Hall of Fame Federation CARD #14

Jim Cornette was alone in the ring. He had something to say, as he always does.

"What to do, what to do? As you know, both of my men are in the tournament to crown the first-ever Wingman Heavyweight Champion. We'll have the finals for that tonight, don't you worry none.

"My only problem is when both 'Beautiful' Bobby and 'Sweet' Stan make it to the finals, who's corner do I belong in? Well, I hope I can make that decision when the time comes. At least one of my men will make it to the finals, I can guarantee you that!

"And then what? Do I send the Midnight Express into the upcoming Tag Tournament or not? Do I finally deal with that pesky Rock-n-Roll Express? I know the dirtsheets are saying I've already got a plan! Well, I haven't! Whoever is writing that garbage has no idea what's going on!

"Well before I ramble on, let's get the matches started! And let me add that NONE of you are invited to the celebration party afterwards when one of my men is crowned champion tonight!"

With that, the matches got underway...

Miller struggled against the veteran, but to no avail as Orton got the win in the first match.

Gordy fought a good match, but it was not enough to get a victory in this one.

Ross was no match for the over-powering Barbarian in this match.
