MILLION DOLLAR BELT RETURNS?

It is reported that the "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase is so furious at losing his Title Bout against HoF StarFighter Hardcore Champion Randy "Macho Man" Savage that he is about to re-introduce the Million Dollar Belt to the wrestling world!

The Belt is still in DiBiase's possession the last time it appeared in wrestling, so there is no doubt that it could easily show up around his waist before long.

Will this be a sanctioned HoF Belt, or will Commissioner Mick Foley not allow it in the federation?

ACTRESS KALEY CUOCO BACKSTAGE AT HoF CARD

Backstage at the Wingman Heavyweight Tournament was actress Kaley Cuoco when Tully Blanchard won the HoF Wingman Heavyweight Belt!

She is on video, quoted as saying, "This was a great tournament! I've always been a big fan of the Four Horsemen! I'm glad that Tully Blanchard won, he's always been one of my faves!"

Miss Cuoco, who recently announced her plans of divorce from her second husband, went onto say she will be attending HoF fight cards in the future, and may even break into managing soon!

Miss Cuoco has also stated she will be at the FTR Uprising 2136 FUTURAMA Pay-Per-View coming up shortly! She said that Justin Case has asked her to be his date and she accepted!

Hall of Fame Federation CARD #15

Ted DiBiase was in Commissioner Mick Foley's "office" (a corner of the arena backstage where Foley was eating popcorn from several large barrels that surrounded him). DiBiase had with him the old Million Dollar Belt draped over his shoulder.

"Commissioner Foley," DiBiase began as he tried to appeal to him. "You are a man of distinguished intelligence and with a legendary career. Certainly, you can see the advantage of having another title belt in this fine federation?"

Foley sat with a smile on his face, clearly enjoying his post as commissioner. "You know, Teddy, I DO have a high level of intelligence. And I DO have a legendary career. But that has nothing to do with bringing in another belt into this fed. Especially one as old and tacky as that thing over your shoulder."

DiBiase reacted, but just barely. He realized Foley was just testing him to see if he was going to react in a negative manner. Calmly, DiBiase said, "We can always make a new one. Correction: I can get a new one made, without a doubt! Please, I'm just asking you to consider it. At least, for now."

Scratching his chin with his now-VERY salty fingers, Foley stated, "Okay, Teddy. I will think about it until the Pay-Per-View. I will give you my answer then."

DiBiase smiled. He realized that giving Foley MONEY at this point would seem like a bribe, so he did not do that, no matter how much he thought it might help. "All right, Commissioner. I will wait until then."

Foley smiled in response. "And then, that decision will be final!" Foley said, tapping the mini-gavel he had with him onto the side of one of the popcorn barrels, as we begin...


"Leaping" Lanny Poffo VS Harley Race
After a flurry of near-falls for Poffo, Race came back and polished off his opponent to win the first match.
Harley Race won with his Finisher - PILEDRIVER in a time of 4:45.

2 Cold Scorpio VS George "The Animal" Steele
A good back-and-forth bout here, with Scorpio going on to victory in this one.
2 Cold Scorpio won with his Finisher - THE DISS THAT DON'T MISS in 6:20.

Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid (British Bulldogs) VS Jimmy Snuka & Roddy Piper
A surprisingly very fast match this time, as Piper was no match for the Bulldogs.
Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid won when Dynamite pinned Piper after a Double Headbutt in a time of just 0:39!

"Mr USA" Tony Atlas VS Louis Albano
Albano was a sight coming off the top rope twice, but it was not enough to put away Atlas in this one.
Tony Atlas won with his Finisher - PRESS SLAM & SPLASH in a time of 8:41.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan VS "Million $ Man" Ted DiBiase - LUMBERJACK
These two bitter enemies fought well here, but it was DiBiase cheating that swung the momentum his way.
Ted DiBiase won with his Finisher - COBRA CLUTCH in a time of 11:25.

Kurt Angle VS Brutus Beefcake
Although Angle was in control, he did not control his anger and was DQed to give Beefcake the win.
Brutus Beefcake won when Angle was disqualified in a time of 3:20.

HoF StarFighter Tag Champs Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin (Team Angle) VS Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff - Non-Title Bout
A frustrated Iron Sheik was stuck in the ring and finally got himself DQed since he was losing anyway.
Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin won when Iron Sheik was disqualified against Charlie Haas in a time of 5:46.

Don "The Rock" Muraco VS "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff
Chants of "USA, USA" inspired Muraco to find the means to get the victory over the hated Russian here.
Don Muraco won when he used his Finisher - HAWAIIAN HAMMER in a time of 12:57.

HoF StarFighter Intercontinental Champ Lou Thesz VS Manny Fernandez - Non-Title Bout
Fernandez was clearly an inferior opponent for the grizzled veteran Thesz and it showed.
Lou Thesz won with his Finisher - GRECO ROMAN BACKDROP in a time of 8:39.

"Mr Perfect" Curt Henning VS Bruiser Brody
Hennig had early advantage, but was frustrated enough to get DQed when Brody began countering.
Bruiser Brody won when Hennig was disqualified in a time of 5:21.

HoF StarFighter Heavyweight Champ Bob Backlund VS Gorilla Monsoon - Non-Title Bout
No one expected a quick upset by the challenger, but that is exactly what happened in this match!
Gorilla Monsoon won with his Finisher - MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE in a time of just 0:48, thus Gorilla Monsoon receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!

Animal & Hawk (Legion of Doom) w/P.Ellering VS Rhino & Rob Van Dam (Team ECW)
A brutal encounter as both teams got a number of pinfall attempts, but Animal lost for his team this time.
Rhino & Rob Van Dam won when Animal was disqualified against Rhino in a time of 12:03.

HoF StarFighter Hardcore Champ Randy Savage VS Greg Valentine - TITLE BOUT
Valentine's game was a little off for some reason, as the Champ was able to retain this time.
Randy Savage won with a Flying Axe Handle in a time of 7:27, thus Savage retained the HoF Hardcore Belt!

ARN ANDERSON REFUSED CONTRACT IN HoF?

(The Arn Anderson art above is NOT from Travis so there's no need to thank him, LOL!)

There are rumors going around that "Double-A" Arn Anderson is, in fact, LEGALLY BLIND!

These stem from a recent podcast by Arn in which he says, "I can't see". Does this mean Arn is legally blind?

Jim Cornette has chimed in and stated, "If Arn can't see, he can't wrestle here. It would be a safety hazard for his opponents! I couldn't give him a contract, no way!"

Anderson's lawyers may have a discrimination case against Cornette, but that is for Arn to decide if he wants to file such a suit.

Meanwhile, the new HoF Wingman Heavyweight Champion, Tully Blanchard, has expressed that he hopes that Arn is allowed into the fed, and that perhaps they could start up a new version of the Four Horsemen. Time will tell how this will all unfold.

TAG BELTS FOR MURACO AND THE HAMMER?

In a recent podcast, Don Muraco stated that he and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine are still the AWA Mid-West Tag Champions!

Muraco has expressed interest in bringing those Belts into the StarFigher Division of the HoF Fed. He is quoted as saying, "If DiBiase can have his Million Dollar Belt being considered for this fed, why not the Tag Belts that me and Greg still have? I don't see why not!"

Commissioner Mick Foley has not been reached for comment on this, but we will keep this story under close watch and report the latest as it happens.

The Masked Superstar was in the center of the ring as the night started. He wanted to talk about something, obviously.

"'Hurdles'.

"I think that was the term used by one Sam Houston in the back. I was just a 'hurdle'. Houston thinks if he can beat me in the ring, he will go onto bigger and better things.

"Well, let me tell you that I am NOT a hurdle. I'm a six-foot-two, two hundred and sixty-nine pound wrestler that's going to annihilate you in the ring! You've bitten off a bit more than you can chew, and tonight, I'm going to show you just what this 'hurdle' can do!"

As he left the ring, the night's matches began...

A quick match as Valentine had little trouble in the first match.

Adonis was too over-confident here, as Magnum was able to find a way to win this one.

The newly crowned champion looked very sharp against the challenger in this match.

Commissioner Mick Foley was in the center of the ring with a big rolled up sheet of paper in his hand. He looked happy and excited, and was about to share with everyone what he was happy and excited about:

"Hello, my fellow wrestling fans! Have I got a real treat for you today! Actually, I have two:

"1) The fed's Pay-Per-View is fast approaching, and will happen on Card #20! It will be held in Miami, Florida in not one, but TWO locations! It will be simul-cast from both arenas and feature twelve matches, including three big Title Bouts from the StarFighter Division, and a Tag Title Bout from the Wingman Division. Jim Cornette has informed me that their current Heavyweight Champ, Tully Blanchard, is away on family business, so there will be no Title Defense from him that night, unfortunately. The rest of the matches have been finalized and will feature mostly key cross-over matches! PerezHogan.com will have all the match and ticket details, I'm sure!

"2) Don Muraco and Greg Valentine have decided to form a team in the StarFighter Division as they wait for my decision on whether or not to allow their Tag Belts into this fed. I have granted them a non-title bout against the Tag Champs tonight, so let's see how well they do, shall we?

"Anyway, what's this in my hand, you might ask? Well, here's the artwork for the Pay-Per-View! I will close with this, and I hope everyone gets their tickets for this great event real soon!"

Poffo was not prepared well for Koloff offense, as Ivan picked up a quick win in the first match.

Scorpio started fast but it was not enough, as Race mounted a slight comeback and got the win.
Harley Race won with his Finisher - VERTICAL SUPLEX in a time of 3:51.

After exposing the turnbuckle, Steele used it to pick up the victory in this one.
George Steele won with a Headlock Turnbuckle Ram in a time of 3:51.

An out-matched Beefcake was in for a hard lesson here, as Dynamite got the win here.
Dynamite Kid won with his Finisher - DIVING HEADBUTT in a time of 4:22.

After taking a beating, RVD came back and got the victory against the big Russian in this one.

A rather painless match for Rhino, as Fernandez was in no mood to wrestle this night.

It only took waiting for the right moment to use one move for Brody to get the win this time.
Bruiser Brody won with a Twisting Vertical Suplex in a time of 3:29.

Not feeling like having a long drawn out match, Valentine got DQed to end this.

The best match on the card drew the crowd to its collective feet, with Hennig pulling out a win here!

A tough loss for Piper here, as the LoD was able to use their tag experience to bring home the victory.

Monsoon grew increasingly frustrated as Backlund countered nearly everything, and Monsoon was DQed.

BLANCHARD ON LEAVE

As Commissioner Foley has stated on a HoF fight card recently, HoF Wingman Heavyweight Champion Tully Blanchard is on leave and will not be defending his Belt at the federation's Pay-Per-View, Miami Twice.

Blanchard is tending to family business, according to the official word of both Foley and Commissioner Cornette's desks, while the most promiment rumor is that one of Tully's children was in a car accident and is in serious condition.

On the wrestling side of the equation, Blanchard was spotted and appears in several photos taken at the airport with his former tag partner, Arn Anderson!

Will Anderson make an appearance at the Pay-Per-View in place of Blanchard? Is Anderson considering a return to wrestling? The speculation about it continues to flood the internet at the possibility.

SMOKEY MOUNTAIN TAG BELTS MISSING?

Where are the Smokey Mountain Tag Belts? That's the question that Jim Cornette must be asking himself.

A photo of the Tag Belts being held by two men (with their faces pixelated) has reached this office, and the photo alledges that THEY have possession of the Tag Belts from Cornette's now defunct Smokey Mountain Fed.

Cornette has not replied to our request for a comment by the time this column went to print. We can only speculate who took the Belts and why!

Hall of Fame Federation CARD #18

An EXTREMELY irate Jim Cornette was center stage, pacing around like a wild animal ready to strike!

He grabbed the microphone and bellowed, "First of all, I just want to say you're not getting away with this! You stole something that belongs to ME! I don't know how you did it, or why, but I want my Smokey Mountain Tag Belts back!

"Oh! And I know who took'em! Without a shadow of a doubt, it was the Rock-n-Roll Express! This has their seedy underbelly smell to it, I just know it was them!

"Well, let me tell you something, Rock-n-Roll: The day will come when you regret stealing MY property! If it takes me to my dying day, I swear I will get revenge on you two little twerps, and you will regret the first day you ever crossed my path!"

When Cornette finished ranting (at least for now), the night's activities could begin...

Ross did not stand a chance against the veteran in the first match of the night.

A very easy win for Adonis here, as Ware's offense was nowhere to be seen.

A surprise upset here, as Butch got the victory in this match.

A fast and furious match that spilled out of the ring, where the Masked Superstar lost track of the count.

A double-DQ dashed hopes of a victory for both teams, as each was eliminated because of it.

Houston could not find the winning combination here, as Blanchard was able to win this time.

HoF StarFighter Heavyweight Champion Bob Backlund was in the ring as the cameras began to roll. He had this to say:

"I just wanted to tell all you people that I am not the kind of champion that ducks anyone. I have heard that the Intercontinental Champion, Lou Thesz, wants to wrestle against me. I accept your challenge, Mr. Thesz. I look forward to seeing who the better man in the ring is.

"There is only one thing, Mr. Thesz: The Pay-Per-View is coming up, so I hope that we can have our match AFTER the Pay-Per-View is over?

A mistake by Sheik was enough for Savage to gain control and get the win in this one.
Randy Savage & Lanny Poffo won when Savage pinned Sheik with a Piledriver in a time of 3:14.

HoF StarFighter Hardcore Champ "Mr Perfect" Curt Hennig VS Bruiser Brody - TITLE BOUT
Both combatants gave it their all and it showed, with Brody managing to get a well-deserved win here!
Bruiser Brody won with a Bruiser Backbreaker in a time of 11:27, thus Brody is the NEW HoF StarFighter Hardcore Champion for the first time!!

It has come to my attention that it was NOT the Rock-n-Roll Express that have my Smokey Mountain Tag Belts, but it is in fact THE FANTASTICS!

Apparently, my wife STACEY was upset with me and wanted to show me that she meant business, so she got my SMW Tag Belts and gave them to the Fantastics!

Well, I worked things out with Stacey (and we are not upset with each other over a personal matter), and I expect that the Fantastics will return the Belts at the Pay-Per-View.

This is for the Fantastics: I'm not putting up with any demands from you two. If you don't hand over the Belts, not only will you be fined and suspended, you will be ARRESTED for possession of stolen property! Get those Belts back to me without a scratch, or find yourself a good lawyer!
