Yea the Tigers have not been getting much love. I understand it. I am waiting to see ESPN's updated % to make the playoffs now that they have been tied. The Tigers only were given a 14% chance a few days ago and now it is around 40%. I can see still being lower than Minnesota due to schedule and what not but it should be pretty darn close.

ESPN updated things and has Minnesota at 66% chance to make the playoffs and the Tigers at 45%. Oh well. As a great man once said, never tell me the odds.

Both the Tigers and Michigan's football team looked like they were going to win early. Then it seemed they had blown it and would lose only to come back at the end and pull-out wins. As a great man once said, I am getting too old for this shit.

Aaaaand my team falls apart again, how many games have you beat us now? Baseball is dumb lol. 623,788 games a season and the Orioles always fall apart ...

I am sorry about that, but your team is pretty much in the playoffs. My team is still clawing to get there. They have to finish at least one game better than Minnesota, or KC if they keep falling, because both teams own the tie breaker against us.

Another nice win. Now we need Boston to complete the double header sweep today. On a funny side note, Trey Sweeney is the SS we got in the Jack Flaherty trade. He has played 30 games for us. Yet ESPN does not have a picture for him on his page. Poor kid.

Sorry for taking up a post to vent about my team. It's just frustrating as anytime we have a good year the Yankees somehow have a better year. We try and get some talent but they sign with the Yankees ...
I wish you the best of luck and don't have any issues with the Tigers.

I enjoyed your post. I mean minus your frustration cause I feel for you. Being a fan of the Detroit teams is rarely easy. Let the Yankees have the division. You will go further in the playoffs. Heck, I will be rooting for Baltimore to win the rest of the regular season games. Not just because they face Minnesota either Plus I hope you win in the playoffs. I mean, of course until or unless you face us.

Our bullpen just got a lil better. We called up Jackson Jobe and he will pitch out of the bullpen. He was a bit shaky at Triple A Toledo but decent at lower levels as a starter. Just an inning or so should be ok for him. We need to clinch a wild card spot before the last game of the season. Skubal is scheduled to pitch on the last day and if we need a win there, he should get it for us. However, I would rather push him back and have him for game 1 of the playoffs.
