It has been a wild month for my Tigers in Minnesota. Yesterday Minnesota hit 7 homeruns to none for the Tigers and the Tigers still won. Also this month in TWO different games in Minnesota the Tigers hit a grand slam in the top of the 9th to tie the game. They ended up 1-1 in those games in extra innings.
I feel the future is bright for this team. Since early May they have a top 10 record. They have a nice core of young pitchers both as starters and mid relief. They have some good young bats in the minors. They need another real good starter, a couple mid relief pitchers and a couple more bats and they can be contenders. Even if not favorites to go all the way. I love Miggy and all he did for Detroit but once he is done that opens up a lot of money to sign some guys. Just need him to get to those 500 HR and 3000 hits plateau. Sadly unless he gets hot it will not be this year but in 2022 for sure. Just a matter of time.

I really wanted that SS Boston took one pick later but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t hella impressed with RHP they did take. Kid looks legit.

Either for the rotation or to trade. I think they got to real good ones in the draft. One for a few years down the road and one that might help next year.

Fun team to watch this year, and I agree the future will be brighter. Too bad "The Stache" got hurt.

Not familiar with that nickname but I am guessing you mean Turnbull. Yea not only losing him down the stretch of this year but for most if not all of next year sucks.

Well we did not trade away much. That is a sign that we are competitive this year, maybe a bad thing in big picture, and like most of our guys that have value going into next season. The one deal we did, trading Norris, was a solid move. Trade a guy that is 28 and never worked out after a nice early start to his career while getting a younger arm that might develop.

Team is definitely trending up. Much more exciting to follow this year.

Not familiar with that nickname but I am guessing you mean Turnbull. Nope, Jake Rogers the catcher. His stache is legendary!

This is the first year in a long time that I've followed the Tigers closely. I'm able to watch most of the daytime games and it's a good way to keep busy until the Lions entertainment (the triumphs, the heartbreak, the wondering why do we continue to root for them, haha) begins.
