DAMN, you might see 3000 tonight the way Miggy is hitting.
Now, if the guys around him would just start hitting. Of course, they might start doing that thanks to seeing better pitches as pitchers might go back to pitching around Miggy.

He did it. Miguel Cabrera became the 33rd player with at least 3000 hits and only the SEVENTH player in history with at least 500 HRs and 3000 hits. Remarkable. How great was it the Tigers traded for him? We did not win a WS but made two and got to see one of the greatest hitters for many years.

I had a friend who drove up to Detroit on Friday for the game. Got rained out. He still had fun partying in Detroit.
I had another friend (INSANE TIGERS FAN) who went to the game on Saturday and got to see this historic moment (which was a part of one of the best overall innings in Tiger history). He had great seats and took a slick video of the moment. I was just happy I got to see it on TV before going to work. TIGAZ!!!

The boy's offense has been MIA but the hits keep coming. Miggy joined Hank Aaron and Albert Pujols as the only players in MLB history to have at least 3000 hits, 500 home runs and 600 doubles. Impressive.

My dad sent me a text yesterday to tell me when this happened. I texted back that if the Reds opponent did not show up for a game the Reds would still find a way to lose.
