This is the first year in a long time that I've followed the Tigers closely. I'm able to watch most of the daytime games and it's a good way to keep busy until the Lions entertainment (the triumphs, the heartbreak, the wondering why do we continue to root for them, haha) begins. Next few years of all Detroit sports should be super exciting. Stevie Y running the Wings, Pistons w Cade and a great new GM, the Tigers trending up with some exciting young new players and another re-set on the Lions which is always fun and hopefully different this time lol

It's okay, I know why, LOL.

Miggy watch:
He needs just TWO homeruns to reach 500 for his career. Based on his current tear I see him getting it this season easily.
He needs 56 hits to reach 3000 for his career. Unless he stays hot for rest of the season I do not see him getting it this year. If he doesn't he will get it early next season for sure.
He will be only the 7th player to reach that double plateau when he does it.

This year they had a player on both All Rookie first team and the second team. That does not include Killian Hayes who missed most of his rookie season due to injury. If he turns up to be worth the 7th overall pick we used on him this team has a bright future over next 5-10 years.

Well, our season got off to a bumpy start and almost ended bumpy but they pulled out the W. If this game is an indication of the season it will be a wild ride. Go Tigers!!!

Only a few days into the season and everyone had at least one win. Only one team has no losses, Tampa Bay. #Parity

Miggy watch is down to 6 more hits. Then he will join the rare club of those with at least 500 HRs and 3000 hits.

Four more hits! Four more hits!

Four more hits! Four more hits! Miggy only needs four more hits to reach 3000. Hoping for 2 tonight, and then 2 during the day game tomorrow (so I can watch it)! If he doesn't get it then, I'll have to take my tired self to the bar on Friday night and hope it happens then!
