Darn you Washington. You only had to score one run in nine innings. At least Miami helped us out. Give us a bit of a cushion but we need to just keep winning and thus not need any more help.

The AL Central is guaranteed to have 3 playoff teams. Hopefully the Tigers are one. Our magic number is down to 2 thanks to today's nice comeback win.

This team. Totally dead mid season, best team in baseball the last 6 weeks. We have a skipper pushing all the right buttons. Sending Meadows down to Toledo was the right move as he has improved by leaps. A bunch of young guys that just want to play and win. They refuse to lose. Best of all they are peaking at the right time. |

Thanks to Miami our magic number is down to one. If we can't win one game out of three against the White Sox then we don't deserve to go to the playoffs. Bless you boys.

Tigers clinched a wild card spot! We are going back to the playoffs!!!!
Plus, by doing it now Skubal can rest and be starter for game one.
