TIGAZ!!! I was so pissed I had to work last night and couldn't watch it! Glad they're in a rain delay today. Give them more recovery time from their hangovers, LOL.

I really wanted that SS Boston took one pick later but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t hella impressed with RHP they did take. Kid looks legit. Instead of taking me to the last page I was taken to the first one. Saw this and decided to revisit it. Still many years to go but both the pitchers we took in 21 draft pitched for us today. One did really good, Jobe our 1st round pick, the other, Madden who was a competitive balance pick, did not do so good. Meanwhile the SS is still in the minors for Boston but is young and is doing good. |

About time someone beat those world beater White Sox. They sure were tough today. But they started a good young arm, and our guys might have been recovering from last night. It is a shame because we have a shot at the 2nd WC instead of the 3rd. Might still get it but it would have been easier with a win today. Silver lining is we have won a lot recently so best to get a loss out of our system now as opposed to the playoffs. |

A little bit of good news for the Tigers. Sawyer Gipson-Long is supposed to start a throwing program next week. If you are saying "who?" I am glad because then it is not just me. He is a starting pitcher we called up in September of last year. In four starts he was 1-0 with ERA of 2.70 and WHIP of 1.10. On April 19 of this year, it was reported he was going to have Tommy Johns and be done for the year. Now the throwing program might just be part of rehab to get ready for next year, but it might be they are seeing if he could possibly be used later in the playoffs if needed. I mean in the playoffs it is all hands on deck and if the bullpen gets worn down or hurt they could use an extra arm, and he might fill that role.

Atlanta beat KC. That means if the Tigers win tomorrow, or KC loses to Atlanta we will finish 2nd in the division and with the 2nd WC spot. Either are possible as we play White Sox and Atlanta are fighting for their WC spot.
