We ended the season with the same record on the road as at home. So, I am not too worried about having to play on the road in the WC round. Just need to get back to the way we played down the stretch. Having Skubal pitch game one will sure help.

Well congrats to TM's Mets for qualifying for the playoffs. Tigers are probably going to regret dropping to the White Sox unfortunately.

Maybe but I'd rather face Houston in best of 3 than 5 or 7. If Skubal and our hitters get us a win Tuesday then we need just one win in two games.

Tigers made that more exciting than I needed there in the 9th. But they got the W. Skubal got a win. That is one down, one to go.

Thank goodness the upstream is finally strong.
Well another exciting game and now we are on to the ALDS. I am not sure how farther this journey will go. If it ends in Cleveland than so be it. I will be sad when we lose but happy how far we came. The thing is I feel confident we will be playoff contenders for at least the next 3-5 years with this young core of players.

Of the final four teams in the AL three are in the Central Division. We are guaranteed to have at least one team in the ALCS.

The well rested LA Dodgers have picked their starting pitcher for game one of their NLDS and it is former Tiger Jack Flaherty.

That was a fun game to watch. It was strange seeing the Tigers use all those different pitchers early in the game. However, if that format works for them more power to them. Other than Jobe their bullpen pitched pretty well. Great hit by Ibanez there to drive in those three runs in the eighth inning. Best of luck against the Ind-, uh, Guardians. (I still hate that new name)
