Thank goodness the upstream is finally strong. Well another exciting game and now we are on to the ALDS. I am not sure how farther this journey will go. If it ends in Cleveland than so be it. I will be sad when we lose but happy how far we came. The thing is I feel confident we will be playoff contenders for at least the next 3-5 years with this young core of players. That was a fun game to watch. It was strange seeing the Tigers use all those different pitchers early in the game. However, if that format works for them more power to them. Other than Jobe their bullpen pitched pretty well. Great hit by Ibanez there to drive in those three runs in the eighth inning. Best of luck against the Ind-, uh, Guardians. (I still hate that new name) The multiple pitcher thing might end up being the thing teams do more down the road. I mean it was probably weird the first time a team used a fourth starter after years of only using three. Now we are up to five. That was a big hit by a guy that is not a big bat. It was the right call to pinch hit him. I forget the actual stat, but he made a bit of history. Something about pinch hitting, maybe the 3 RBIs, possibly winning hit, I forget exactly but it included a few things like that. Thank you. They barely won the season series against us. Yea the Guardians name takes getting used to, but I understand the change. This series should be a real battle and very likely will go 5 games. I would say with Skubal likely going in Game 2 we just need a split in Cleveland and then come home and take care of business. But this year our road record was the same as our home record so who knows. But if we can pull out a win in Game 1 and Skubal does go in Game 2 our chances of winning increase by quite a bit.

Good to see the Tigers continue on, my Royals had a good Wild Card round too, but now they've got the Yankees...

I say we both pull off the upsets and meet in the ALCS. Detroit vs KC sounds just fine by me. I'd love to see Royals vs. Tigers... Anyone but the Yankees. I have told this story before but one of my favorite sports moments was years ago when I was at a Falcons game in Atlanta vs New England. Both teams were giving each other the business but we all came together in a beautiful moment of togetherness when we all chanted "NY Sucks". It was just a really cool moment.

Tough loss for the Tigers yesterday. Hopefully they can rebound tomorrow and even up the series.

Yes it was bad but sometimes that is the way to lose. Still counts as one loss and get all the bad stuff out of the way. Today Skubal starts so we have a good chance of winning. We do that we head home for the first time in the playoffs with a split. Can't be mad about that situation.

Nice win. Now we need to take care of things at home. Im sure our fans will show out. If the Lions can win the SB that will be the headliner but a Tigers WS win would be the opening act.

The amazing run continues. I did not watch or even really follow the Tigers all year, so I feel like a bit of a bandwagon fan after declaring their season over.
But I’m really enjoying the excitement with my kids watching this. Yesterday watched the game with all 3 of my boys and they were going absolutely bonkers when Carpenter hit that HR.
