Stu is very echo-y on this one. Interesting topic for a week. NBA Jam was fun back in the day and so was Dream Team Basketball. Don't think I've played one since PS2 though.

Stu being an ACC fan, I'm sure his snub for KENTUCKY was intentional. 😉
Big Blue will win their 9th national title this year, no matter what Stu says.
Avalon Hill... so many fun hours of game play. My go to AH game, still own and play, is AXIS and ALLIES.
No matter the subject you guys always make it fun.

Going to throw out a suggestion for SSG Basketball by Sideline Strategy Games. Really fun tabletop bball sim and the creator of the game is a great guy as well. Great episode 👍

I'm no enemy of Big Blue KB...can't really remember, but I'm banking I truly rooted for them against Duke in the famous (infamous??) Christian Laetner game! A year ago while doing some cleaning, I came across my vintage Strat basketball game with two complete seasons from the Bird/Magic era. It's a great sim, but it takes approximately forever to play a game, especially if you record full stats (and who doesn't?).

Good listen, and i hate basketball. Hopefully the hockey episode is coming up soon! The only basketball game i remember is the one with metal rods that that pushed a ping pong ball into the basket.

I like basketball but hockey might be more interesting even though I'm not as much a fan. The stories are always interesting though.
My only Avalon Hill games were non sports related.
