After checking out Mad Kanter ‘s Indy fed I was inspired to blow the dust off my showbox of Indy cards and roll out some matches. Not sure how often I am going to come back to this but I thought I would share the results. Hope everyone enjoys the action.

Card 01: Filsinger Retro Indy Wrestling presents “Come Out and Play”

Adam Pearce v. Delirious
Circling. Pearce with some punches. Delirious fires back. Delirious to the top for a moonsault . . . misses. Pearce works the neck with a pair of swinging neckbreakers. Pearce traps Delirious and plants him with a JUMPING PILEDRIVER for the win.

The Colony (Green Ant, Solider Ant & Fire Ant) v. Age of the Fall (“Zombie Princess” Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black & Brody Lee)
Black controls against Green Ant. Superkick connects. Lee tags in. Big kick in the corner. Ant avoids a chop and tags in Fire Ant. High kick from Ant is countered into a cobra clutch suplex. Jacobs in with satellite headscissors . . . Ant spills to the floor. Brawl on the floor goes to Jacobs. Jacobs tosses out Ant twice more and mocks the fans . . . HEAT. Back in the ring . . . THE END OF TIME. Rope break. Black with a buckle bomb. Springboard clothesline . . . Ant falls towards his corner . . . TAG! Green Ant with an elbow strike and neckbreaker. Running lariat downs Black. Solider Ant tags in. Tandem diving stomps with Fire Ant! 1, kick out. Fire Ant with BEACH BREAK . . .1, 2 kick out! Leaping kick connects but Black falls back into a tag. Forearms from Jacobs. Soldier Ant is in. Forearms from Jacobs. Bite! BOOOO! Snap suplex to Jacobs. Tandem diving stomps with Fire Ant! Jacobs takes a breather. Back in the ring . . . BEACH BREAK. Two count only! Another BEACH BREAK. 1, 2, Black makes the save. Leaping kick connects. Soldier Ant is in with a saluting headbutt. Lee tags in with a face shove and superkick. Package piledriver in the middle of the ring . . . 1, 2, 3. HEAT FOR JACOBS AND COMPANY

Eddie Kingston v. Erick Stevens
DUELING CHANTS! Stevens wins the Chop Battle to start things off. Running lariat misses and it is HEAT for Kingston from his choke with a boot. Whip to the corner leads to a knee to the chest and a running clothesline downs Kingston. To the floor and Stevens eats a ringside table. Kingston fails at a tombstone piledriver and is rebounded into an elbow. Stevens has control. Tiger Driver, double knee gutbuster and a second Tiger Driver. Kingston needs a breather. Stevens gives chase to the floor and Kingston sends him into the table a second time. The referee calls for the disqualification this time. Both men continue to exchange blows and officials come out for the pull apart. THE FANS WANT MORE!

Swiss Money Holding (Claudio Castagnoli & Ares) v. Super Friends (Chris Hero & Mike Quackenbush)
UFO from Castagnoli to Quackenbush but there is a reversal into a one-legged Boston crab which is followed by Jig ‘n’ Tonic. Hero tags and strikes with a head butt followed by CYCLONE KILLS for a two count. DEATH ELBOW is on target. 1, 2, kick out. Quackenbush back in. Jig ‘n’ Tonic. Bulldog . . . countered! Ares is in with a choke. TIGER DRIVER to Quackenbush. 1, 2, kick out. Elbow drop. Hooks the leg for 2 ½. Castagnoli is in with a bicycle kick and cobra clutch suplex. Roaring European Uppercut maintains the advantage. Castagnoli is pushing Quackenbush around. Quackenbush takes a breather after a choke slam but Castagnoli is out after him. Roaring European Uppercut and Quackenbush is down in a heap. 7, 8, 9 , back in the ring. RICOLLA BOMB. 1, 2, Ares blocks Hero, 3.

Cheerleader Melissa v. Saraya Knight
Knight is all over Melissa. Whip to the corner and charge . . . Melissa moves… Roll up for one! They go to the floor. Melissa’s face goes into the table. Back in the ring… KNIGHTMARE. Melissa escapes. Second KNIGHTMARE. Melissa is out again. Tombstone piledriver. Forearms. Melissa responds in king. Knight off the ropes . . . back drop reversed into piledriver! Running Samoan Drop and side suplex. To the floor. Fists fly. Back into the ring. BRIDLED ROCKING HORSE . . . Rope break. Running Samoan Drop. BRIDLED ROCKING HORSE. Melissa gets free! To the floor . . . tearing it up. Back to the floor again . . . Irish whip reversed . . . Knight EATS THE POST! Kondo Clutch. Back suplex . . . countered. Back and forth brawling. Ballistic headbutts and brutal beatdown in the corner. NECRO BOMB . . . Too soon. Death Valley Driver counter into 50/50 suplex. Drake and Bake into the corner. 1, kick out. Tearing it up on the floor. Back to the floor. Back outside again. Drake into the post. BUSTED OPEN. Butchers sets up chairs . . . CHOOSE DEATH! Referee calls for the disqualification. BUTCHER mounts and hammers away. BLOOD IS FLOWING. Officials arrive!

Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) v. Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe)
Quick tags by both sides. Jay Briscoe with Military Press DVD to Matt Jackson for two. Jackson is tossed. Back inside, Briscoe smashes Jackson with a chair [no title belts yet!]. Referee calls for the disqualification! BOOO! TRASH IS BEING TOSSED!

Adam Cole w/Mia Yim v. BLK Jeez
They exchange counters. Cole gets whipped into the ropes, drops down, ducks under and connects with a shoulder block. Lung blower is countered and they trade moves again. APPRECIATION FROM RINGSIDE. Jeez sends Cole back into the ropes. Cole counters a backdrop with a piledriver. Jeez stumbles to his feet . . . PANAMA SUNRISE 1, 2, kick out. Second PANAMA SUNRISE. Kick out at 2 ¾! ROARING! Superkick . . . ducked and 11th Commandment counter! Tombstone piledriver plants Cole. 1, 2, kick out. Million $ Dropkick in the corner. Leaping double dragon kick lands. Cole sent hard into the corner . . . bounces out with a clothesline! Corona Kick and super kick both land. Jeez is rebounded into a backdrop . . . countered with a piledriver! Tombstone from Jeez followed by running lariat and running tornado DDT. Cole counters with a cross body and regains control leading to The Florida Key. Jeez bails and Cole dives onto Jeez at ringside! OUT OF MY SEAT! 7, 8, 9, Jeez is back in. Coleateral and Jeez takes a breather on the floor. Back in the ring . . . PANAMA SUNRISE and Cole gets the win.

Natural Selection (Brian Cage & Shaun Ricker) v. Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas)

Ricker shows his arrogance. HEAT! Goes to Haas’s eyes. Kick to the gut lands but running lariat is ducked and standing dropkick connects for Haas. Ricker is rebounded off the ropes but drops Haas with a tackle and tags. Haas and Cage counter. Cage with a delayed superplex. AWESOME! Haas reverses a whip to the corner and lands a kick. Benjamin is in with a springboard clothesline and superkick. PAYDIRT . . . KICK OUT AT ONE! POP! Second PAYDIRT. 1, 2, 3. WHAT!

Deathproof Match - Eddie Kingston v. Erick Stevens
Kingston has the early control choking out Stevens with his boot and then rebounding him into a stiff elbow. Stevens blocks a suplex but his charge to the corner is met with a knee to the chest. Neckbreaking clothesline in the corner leads to a tombstone piledriver. Stevens blocks another suplex and they trade blows and chops. Stevens moves Kingston into a surfboard. Kingston with a headbutt followed by a Thesz Press and punches. Stevens reverses a whip into the corner and follows Kingston into the corner. CRACK SKULLS! Both are down! 7, 8, 9 . . . Kingston with a suplex. Stevens is rebounded into a elbow. Lariat connects and we go to the floor. Stevens eats the post. BUSTED OPEN. Back in the ring. BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE. Two count only. SLIDING D gets only two. Kingston with a second SLIDING D and gets the pin.

Trios Match - Team FIST (Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano & Gran Akuma) v. 3.0lé! (3.0 (“Big Magic” Shane Mathews & Scott “Jagged” Parker) & El Generico)
Bryce Remsburg calls for the bell and this traditional Trios Match is underway. Parker gets cut off after some excellent countering from Gargano. Taylor works over Parker before Akuma is in and lands a TENCHI CRASH for a two count. Akuma hits his finisher again but Parker gets the shoulder up. Gargano is in and mounts the corner. Parker tosses him to the mat! Classic piledriver from Matthews. Full powerslam. Gargano is rebounded off the ropes but counters a backdrop with a piledriver. Taylor dominates. Turnbuckle powerbomb. Cover, 1, 2, Parker makes the save. 450 Splash lands. Matthews bails but the partners are distracted and Akuma smashed Parker across the back with chair. HEAT. Another 450 splash lands. Matthews bails and Akuma dives onto him on the floor. Taylor and Generico step between the ropes and trade moves. Genercio counter a charge to the corner with knees to the chest. 450 splash to Taylor. Running lariat downs Taylor for a one count. Spaceman moonsault connects. Taylor is able to get the tag to Gargano. Gargano’s spinning heel kick misses. Generico with a whip to the corner and kick. Leg lariat from Parker downs Gargano but Gargano comes rebounding off the ropes with a tackle. Akuma with a Rubik’s Cube and another one. Parker is tossed out and Taylor nails a flying clothesline outside. Akuma sends Parker back to the floor and Matthews steps into the action. Akuma sends Matthews into the ropes and Matthews catches Akuma with an inside cradle for a one count. Akuma counters a tombstone piledriver and then downs Matthews with a stiff back elbow. Taylor with back to back jumping big boots but a belly to belly suplex is countered. Generico is on fire and the fans eat it up. Taylor counters a backdrop with a piledriver. F.I.S.T. Kicks to Generico. Akuma covers for two. TENCHI CRASH to Generico. Two count! Back senton connects and a Falcon Arrow follows. Jumping big boot sends Generico to the floor. Parker is in. Taylor counters a suplex. Gargano and Parker go move for move. Assisted Ace Crusher from F.I.S.T. Taylor with an OMEGA DRIVER. 1, 2, Matthews is in, Gargano is in. Parker and Taylor to the floor. Gargano and Matthews trade moves. Slingshot spear from Gargano. Generico tags in. POP! Akuma is in. Leg trip is countered. Generico lands a 450 splash. Running lariat lands. Spaceman moonsault. 1, 2, kick out. Running lariat sends Akuma to the floor. Generico dives over the ropes onto Akuma. Matthews and Gargano mix it up. Whip to the corner . . . SKULLS CRACK! Matthews shakes it off first . . . BOSTON CRAB. Gargano taps!

McKay controls against Perez but Matthews gets into the action and scores with a back elbow smash. Double team side slam forces McKay to the floor. Back in the ring. Perez tosses McKay back to the floor. Back in. Divorce Court. Smash from the top. McKay ducks a spinning heel kick. Eagles is in. Running lariat connects. 1, kick out. Brainbuster and kicks. Running big boot downs Perez. Brainbuster crushes Perez. Eagles to the top . . . crossbody. Perez rolls through 1, 2, ¾! Matthews tags in. Double team side slam. Perez off the top with a elbow drop. Matthews tags back in. VANCOUVER MANEUVER. 1, 2, kick out. Matthews tosses Eagles outside. Brawl on the floor. Eagles with kicks. McKay tags in. Off the top with a smash. SCHOOL GIRL CRUSH. 1, 2, kick out. SCHOOL GIRL CRUSH. 1, 2, ¾! THROUGHT IT WAS OVER!  Headscissors. Eagles is in. Matthews send into the ropes. Matthews counters a backdrop with a piledriver. Perez is in. Rebounded into the ropes . . . Eagles with a tackle. Snapmare takes it to the mat. Perez counters and tags. Matthews tries to choke with a boot across the throat, countered out. Vertical suplex and roundhouse kick land. All Eagles with kicks and suplexes. McKay is in. Huracanrrana sends Matthews into her partner’s tag. McKay catches Perez with a Northern Lights bomb. Perez with a choke. HEAT! Back to back jaw breakers. McKay bails. Back in the ring. Dropkick spills McKay back to the floor. Perez is outside. McKay sends Perez into the ring post! Eagles in… HELL BOUND. 1, 2, Matthews is blocked, kick out! Roundhouse kick. Hooks the leg for 2 ¾! OUT OF MY SEAT!  Back kick misses. Matthews is in. Scorpion Death Lock is countered. McKay is in. Back to back Northern Lights bombs. Perez tags. McKay attempts a running clothesline but Matthews ducks and tags. Rebound into the ropes. McKay with a tackle. Back to back vertical suplexes from Eagles. Running big boot. Perez rolls to the tag. Matthews steps it up with a boot across the throat and kicks to the chest. Snap suplex and tombstone piledriver. Eagles counters a Scorpion Death Lock. Countering back and forth. ROARING! Side backbreaker from Matthews. Hooks the leg for one. Spinning heel kick lands. Blatant choke is countered. McKay and Perez cross over again and again. Tackle from McKay. Perez counters back and slows it down with a hammerlock and then an eye rake. HEAT! Matthews is in with a side backbreaker. Cover for two. Snap suplex and a back elbow smash. VANCOUVER MANEUVER. 1, 2, kick out. Snap suplex and Perez is in. Choke is countered and Eagles tags. Perez sent into the corner… crack skulls!!! Spider German Suplex. Whip into the corner and kick. Vertical suplex. Perez tags. Boot across the throat! HEAT! Into the ropes… backdrop countered with a piledriver. McKay tosses Matthews to the floor. Matthews grabs McKay and slams her onto the ringside table. OFFICIALS FALLING OVER. Bell sounds for the disqualification. HEAT.  Brawling after the bell... PULL APART!

Strong lights it up with elbow and forearms. Back suplex countered. Stretch muffler countered. Richards counters forearms and rebounds Strong into an elbow. Richards comes off the top. Strong bails after a Cloverleaf. BOOOO!  Strong runs Richards into the table. Richards tossed back to the floor. Back inside. END OF HEARTACHE. 1 count only! STRONGHOLD. Richards is out. To the floor. Edge of the chair into Richards’ back! HEAT. Back in the ring. SICK KICK. 1, KICK OUT. POP! Strong to the top . . . cross body for two. Olympic Slam. Jumping knee strike misses. Strong into the ropes… hits a tackle. Jumping knee misses again. Double knee backbreaker. Richards with suplexes. Suicide dive! Back elbow connects. Richards keeps the pressure on. Handspring enzuigiri. Cloverleaf into ANKLE LOCK. Strong escapes. Richards chases Strong out of the ring. Strong with an Olympic Slam . . . THROUGH THE TABLE! OMG!  CHANTING! Gibson driver. . . cover 1, 2, ¾! Strong off the top . . . referee goes down! Kicked to Death. Strong with strikes and chops. Richards with a folding powerbomb. Another. Strong with a belly to belly suplex. Death by Roderick. STRONG HOLD. Referee is just recovering. Olympic Slam. Gibson Driver. Another Gibson Driver. 1, 2, 3

I am going to reboot this fed and follow the schedule of one of the local Indy Feds in southern Ontario.

Card 01: August 7, 2022 – Come Out and Play – London Music Hall, London, ON

Osirian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian) downed Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) by Disqualification when Nick Jackson smashed Ophidian with a chair during a brawl on the floor after about six minutes. The pace was incredible from the opening bell and featured the Bucks hitting Ophidian with an early MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK but it did not get the pin. Amasis came back for the Portal and Ophidian was in control when the action spilled to the floor and Nick Jackson opted to use a chair earing great heat from the fans. * ½

In a fun encounter, Chuck Taylor used an OMEGA DRIVER to finish off Airk Cannon. Taylor was able to control a majority of the encounter including an early Sole Food for a near fall. Cannon had the fans roaring with a leglock and drink beer but Taylor also lit of the fans with a somersault suicide dive before using his finisher after about four minutes to get the win. **

Erick Stevens defeated Eddie Kingston with a SARASOTA SCREWDRIVER after ten minutes of hard hitting back and forth action. Kingston looked to have things in control after a lariat scored a near fall and a BACKFIRST TO THE FUTURE followed. Stevens was able to get a foot on the rope and moments later a release German suplex put Stevens back into the contest. A Doctor Bomb scored a near fall and later a powerslam onto the corner nearly ended it. Kingston had his own suplex offense but it was Stevens who was able to get the victory with his finisher earning a solid ovation from the fans. ***

Mia Yim outlasted Daizee Haze & Sara Del Rey in a three way match with a skytwister press after about eighteen minutes. The momentum in this match was all over the place as all three competitors had their moments in control of the bout. Del Rey used a ROYAL BUTTERFLY on both of her opponents but could not get the victory. Haze played the role of spoiler several times in the match preventing pinfalls before Yim was able to get a SPINNING SEOUL KICK on Del Rey for a huge near fall. Yim followed immediately with a skytwister press for victory. ***

“Die Hard” Eddie Edwards bested Brodie Lee by disqualification when he used a Brodie Bomb to put Edwards through a table during a brawl on the floor. Edwards seized control at the bell but the action spilled to the floor after about two minutes where Lee left Edwards in a heap! DUD

Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe) looked dominate in their win over Age of the Fall (Tyler Black & “Zombie Princess” Jimmy Jacobs). The brothers from Sandy Fork were ready for action and took the fight to their opponents from the opening bell with the fans popping for Red Neck Kung-Fu and for a death valley driver. Age of the Fall gained the upper hand but Black missed a suicide dive. Later, Black was caught on the top of the corner and slammed to the mat by Mark Briscoe. This lead to the end as the Briscoe caught Black with a DOUBLE FOOTBALL TACKLE for the win after about six minutes with the pin save from Jacobs being blocked. **

Necro Butcher defeated Drake Younger in a wild but short Deathproof Match in just over two minutes. Butcher took control at the bell and Younger was forced to the floor but Butcher followed and Younger was busted open off the ring post shot. The went back to the floor and Younger managed to grab a chair and smash Butcher with the weapon busting him open. Back in the ring, Younger scaled the corner but Butcher caught him with a low blow which sent Younger crumbling to the mat. Back to back CHOOSE DEATH followed for the victory. ** ½

Kings of Wrestling (Claudio Castagnoli & Chris Hero “That Young Knockout Kid”) picked up a hard fought victory over Quacksaw (Jigsaw & “Lightning” Mike Quackenbush). The story in this one was the Hero & Castagnoli using their size to dominate and their much smaller opponents using key defensive tags to stay alive in the match until they can counter back for an offensive attack of their own. The Kings controlled 80% of the action but could not find away to put away their opponents. Jigsaw saved Quackenbush after a RICOLA BOMB and later, Jigsaw saw a loaded elbow coming from Hero and avoided the finisher. Jigsaw thrilled the fans when he nearly pinned Castagnoli late in the encounter with JIG’N’ TONIC and Quackenbush used a CHIKARA SPECIAL to nearly make the big Swiss submit. The finish came when Hero struck Quackenbush with a ROLLING ELBOW SMASH but Quackenbush was saved again by his partner and managed to get the tag out. The Kings made short work of Jigsaw however and scored the win after about twenty minutes with a KRS ONE. *****

Filsinger Retro Indy Wresting will be back in action on September for a two night event on September 17th in London and September 18th in Toronto. “Gold” will be a sixteen competitor tournament to determine the first Ontario Heavyweight Champion.
