GENE: Good evening fans,we have a lot of ground to cover in this edition, let me introduce the COMMISSIONER of GREAT NORTH WRESTLING...none other than the legendary "Cowboy" Bill Watts!!!...(WATTS enters shakes Okerlund's hand.)

WATTS: Thanks Gene I have always admired your excellence and professionalism, keep up the great work. It has come to my ATTENTION that we have a fly in the ointment so to speak, and something needs to be done.....OX BAKER, ever since you've been here,you have bad mouthed this company in public every chance you get..unacceptable. You have shown great disrespect for the rules, and your opponents..UNACCEPTABLE..so on Jan.14th I am taking action. I am sick of your attitude and your actions. So I will be your opponent at the Mayo Civic Center. It has been a while for me, but wrestling is like riding a bike...luckily butt-kicking is even easier...get ready big man I'm coming to shut you up....thanks for the time Gene.

The next stop brings GNW excitement to the fabled MAYO CIVIC CENTER ARENA, in the great city of Rochester, Minnesota!

Here are your results winners in ALL CAPS!

Brian Sager: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to an exciting night of wrestling action...(crowd roars loudly)..5 huge matches tonight 2 championships will be defended and one is the GNW WORLD TITLE! Let's do this......

1.Killer Kowalski vs FRANK GOTCH
Excellent first match,between to spirited competitors...Gotch needing a win here,gives up 7 inches in height and nearly 80 pounds,and his previous matches have failed to impress anyone. Kowalski on the other hand has been pretty good.The Killer jumps on the offensive early using his power advantage slams GOTCH once in the middle of the ring, then one off the ropes,goes for the pin 1,2...kickout by Gotch. Kowalski tries the ground and pound approach,but telegraphs a back body drop...and Gotch kicks him squarely in the teeth. Gotch then methodically works on the legs, 2 rolling knee bars, then his famous toe-hold get the big man to submit.Time 13:43

2. THE LOVE BROS. vs. Terry Taylor/Jim Duggan.
Claiming to be the "Ultimate Tag-Team" the Love Brothers lived up to the hype in this one keeping the young upstart Taylor cutt-off from his explosive partner. Duggan shined once he got tagged in, with an amazing display of power moves. But after tagging Taylor back in the experienced Love Bros., took over dominating the rest of the way pinning Taylor with a series of double-team moves. Impressive debut for Reginald and Hartford Love.....Time 10:49

3.OX BAKER vs. "Commisioner" Bill Watts.
The surprise juggernaut known as Ox Baker continues his dominance here tonight in Rochester! Commissioner Watts took it upon himself to call out the OX,and stated he would quel his disrespectful ways here in the GNW. At first it appeared as though it might happen as the "Cowboy" showed little ring rust and went power for power, move for move against the Ox. FINALLY BAKER used an eye gouge and a choke to gain the upperhand....then taking the fight outside and slamming the Commissioner into the rails and then into the ring apron... Ox rolls Watts into the ring stands him up by the throat, and HEART PUNCHES him dead center in the chest....1,2,3....Ox wins....after gesturing to his fallen opponent, then doing the same to the jeering fans,BAKER Leaves Time 22:56.....

******GNW INTER-STATE CHAMPIONSHIP*******
AL SNOW vs.(CH) Nick Bockwinkel
Al Snow has the match of his life tonight, against the heavily favored Bockwinkel!Perhaps too confident, the champ didn't seem to expend much energy in his execution of moves, or pin attempts(of which he had several).AL SNOW puts together a nice series of moves mid-match and the stunned BOCKWINKEL staggers outside the ring to clear the cobwebs...Mr. Snow follows HEAD in tow and bashes the Inter-State Champion with his ally?..dodging the DQ...both men find themselves in the center of the ring trading rights and lefts. Seemingly out of nowhere AL SNOW delivers a DEATH VALLEY DRIVER...and gets the victory!!! The crowd goes wild as SNOW raises the gold and falls to his knees. THEN leaves the ring and goes to the back via the cheering fans. Who knows how long he will reign but as of right now he is the NEW GNW INTER-STATE CHAMPION!!!...Time 25:07.

(Side note: Bockwinkel was so confident he waived his rematch clause at the contract signing)

********GNW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP**********

Jimmy Snuka vs. (CH) HARLEY RACE
After seeing one championship change hands Harley Race looked tense as he entered the ring to face the SUPERFLY. After the ringing of the bell, the fans witnessed one hell of a match. As expected Snuka took the early offensive, confusing the champ with his aerial assault and finesse. Weathering the Superfly's assault Race abruptly raises both knees into a charging Snuka's face. The Champion started to punish the challenger with bodyslams and heavy boots. Back and forth the momentum changed many times. RACE survives two deathjumps and one amazing slingshot plancha through the ropes outside the ring, and suplexes SNUKA on the floor...tossing his downed combatant back into the ring. Once back inside the squared circle Race delivers a Powerslam and leg drop, followed with his devastating PILEDRIVER...for the pin!!! Time 22:27

GENE: Fresh off our big card in Rochester last night where believe or not we crowned a new GNW INTER-STATE CHAMPION, congratulations to AL SNOW!!I gotta tell you things are really hot here in the GNW, our Commissioner Cowboy Bill Watts has some big news to share with you fans, but first let's go through the upcoming stops for Great North Wrestling!!!!

1/18 GNW ON TOUR(4) Rapid City,SD we make our South Dakota debut at the RAPID CITY GRAND EVENT HALL 6 big matches and our New INTER-STATE CHAMPION Al Snow will defend the belt against Mr. Wrestling II, and our MAIN EVENT The GNW TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONS, The Road Warriors, put the belts on the line against the Iron Sheik/N.Volkoff, other great matches as well as the debuts of Rick Rude, Bob Sweetan and Ahmed Johnson teams up with the Great Bobo Brazil.

Now the big news is we are Growing, there are so many wrestlers wanting to come here...with that said the GNW governing board has decided that for the first half of 2022 anyway we need to reach a roster limit. We have given 32 hopefuls one-day contracts...2 cards will be added with 8 matches each..it is a WIN AND YOU'RE IN...one on one competition. Here are the scheduled dates and the card rundown for each. The winners will get a contract offer until the end of June 2022....here we go
