GREAT NORTH WRESTLING makes its Montana debut with a sell-out 9 match extravaganza! Winners will be in all CAPS!

ATTENDANCE: 25,000

Mean GENE: Welcome wrestling fans, all of you here in attendance and those watching at home! We are proud to present our very first
PPV event and our Montana debut GNW's WILD WEST SHOW! (the crowd roars wildly, the sound shakes the whole arena.) 9 big matches
tonight, and all 3 GNW titles will be defended here in front of this jam-packed arena...here with me is my amazing colleague ....what are your
thoughts on tonight's festivities BRIAN SAGER?

SAGER: I think you and this crowd has said it all......LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!

1. Bob Roop vs. TATANKA
Adequate opening bout between to almost equally matched opponents. Roop's technical savvy shines early with Tatanka successfully 
(but with some difficulty) managing to counter Roop's offensive. In the end it came down to the power game of Tatanka who pins Roop
with his finisher "THE END OF THE TRAIL". TIME: 8:22. "TATANKA was the better man in this contest, nice way to start things"- SAGER.

2. Ernie "Big Cat" Ladd vs. JAY YOUNGBLOOD
The bigger heavier LADD pushes the power game early with punches and kicks. Adding a bodyslam and a leg-drop goes for the quick pin
but Youngblood kicks out at 2. Ernie stomps on his opponent, then whips him into the ropes, where Youngblood ducks under a clothesline
and lands a huge dropkick, and several chops the stunned Ladd leaves the ring....but Jay jumps over the top rope delivering a double 
tomahawk chop dropping THE BIG CAT on the outside as the crowd roars in approval. The young Native American star wastes no time tossing
his opponent back into the ring avoiding a count-out. From there on out it was YOUNGBLOOD in control wearing Ladd down with his sleeper,
and finishing him with a top-rope splash(deathjump)! Time: 11:34. "WOW YOUNGBLOOD WAS ON THE WARPATH!"- MEAN GENE.

3. rvd vs. "RAVISHING" RICK RUDE
RVD starts with a head of steam using his agility to stymie Rude early. Rude finally turned the tide with a thumb to the throat, and a rake
of the eyes, and back-breaker he then tosses Van Dam outside. RUDE drives his foe into the ring steps, then piledrives him on the floor.
Avoiding disqualification, he brings the match back into the ring, delivering not 1....but 2 "RUDE AWAKENINGS" pinning RVD in the center
of the ring....the crowd boos its disapproval as RUDE flips off the crowd and flings his perspiration on the downed RVD. " What despicable
way to act by the so-called RAVISHING one! Totally uncalled for!"- MEAN GENE.

(BACKSTAGE: BRIAN SAGER interviews D'lo Brown, who is getting ready to enter the ring for the next match. His GNW INTER-STATE
TITLE-SHOT match against OX BAKER.)

SAGER: I know you are busy, but what are your thoughts getting ready for this match?

D'LO: This is why I came here, to prove my worth to the great fans who support me all across the Great North, and tonight is only the
beginning Ya feel me! (He gives two-thumbs up to the crowd and leaves for the ring.)

4. D'lo Brown vs. OX BAKER winner gets an INTER-STATE TITLE MATCH.
Brown shocks the big Ox early with some impressive holds and counter-holds, until a rope reversal allows Baker to down D'lo with a
punishing clothesline. Refusing to be pinned despite OX's best efforts, a battered BROWN manages to move out of the turnbuckle at
the last second and a charging OX careens into the post and over...landing on the floor. Baker the veteran that he is ...finds the outside
his friend and takes control with a kick followed by a big thudding bodyslam on the floor. Tossing the dazed BROWN back into the squared
circle, OX goes in for the kill.....clothesline, neck-breaker.......and finally the HEART PUNCH...1,2,3....Ox stands over the fallen D'LO admiring
his work. (Brown is injured for 2 cards).....as SAGER enters to declare him the winner....OX GRABS THE MIC!!!!!

BAKER: THIS MAN'S blood is on your hands Commissioner WATTS....the FANTASTIC OX BAKER....told him (points to D'lo who is being
placed on a stretcher by the medical staff) not to show up here and yet you signed his death certificate by making him believe he had a chance.
I LIKE TO HURT PEOPLE...Commissioner, you yourself a seasoned veteran couldn't get the job done....this upstart punk didn't have a
chance and I think you knew full well but sent him to the slaughter anyway. OX BAKER DOES WHAT OX BAKER WANTS TO DO....I AM
INVEITABLE, AND UNTIL YOU COMMISSONER WATTS, AND ALL YOU IDIOTS (points to the angry crowd) REALIZE WHO IS IN CHARGE
HERE...I AM GONNA KEEP BEATING THE BRAINS OUT OF ANYBODY WHO GETS INTO THIS RING WITH ME...THE FANTASTIC OX BAKER!
(SAGER reaches out for the mic, OX tosses it to the mat, and leaves as the crowd throws trash at him as he walks to the back.)

MEAN GENE: Wow Ox Baker gets an INTER-STATE title shot, doesn't even comment on that, but continues his verbal assault on Commissioner
Bill WATTS, we will keep our ears to the ground on that for sure. And we will update you on the condition of one D'lo Brown as well...BRIAN SAGER anything to add?

SAGER: I am speechless at this point but make no mistake our commissioner will not take this lying down!! Let's get back to the action
shall we?

5. THE LOVE BROTHERS vs "Los Vaqueros" Chavo Sr./Hector Guerrero.
A great example of tag-team wrestling these two teams showed their mastery in the ring. The Guerreos used a speed and technical assault,
while the Love Brothers used their signature isolate the opponent from his teammate tactic. Keeping Hector away from his brother and putting the hurt on him. The aerial edge held by the Latino team worked well, garnering several pin attempts. The bruising style of Reginald and Hartford Love began to take its toll in the late stages of the match. Sensing defeat was imminent, Chavo hits Hartford with a foreign object...and the frustrated "Vaqueros" are disqualified. Time: 21:33. BOTH TEAMS GIVE A GOOD ACCOUNT OF THEMSELVES IN THIS ONE, BUT IN THE END....CHAVO AND HECTOR LOSE THEIR "COOL" AND THE MATCH - SAGER

6. "NATURE BOY" BUDDY ROGERS vs. Giant Baba.  WINNER GETS A GNW WORLD TITLE SHOT.
Instant mat classic as these two men came to fight! Baba pressed his size advantage early, with powerful chops and a slam or two, getting
a quick 2 count on Rogers in the first couple of minutes. Of course, Buddy went to the outside to complain to the ref and regain his composure,
but re-enters the ring before being counted out. Knowing that tonight he isn't quite on top of his game, Buddy starts using "alternative"
methods to gain the advantage. Low blows, chokes, fists and kicks mixed with knee lifts, and a flying cross-body block, the NATURE BOY
gets the duke via pinfall (assisted by the ropes). Time: 14:07. BY HOOK AND BY CROOK, "THE NATURE BOY" GETS HIS TITLE SHOT- MEAN GENE.

7. Frank Gotch vs. (CH) MR. WRESTLING II
Gotch, on the heels of his recent win streak was confident, but the gritty champion was up to the task. After a handshake between the two
participants, they put on a clinic. Each man had pinning combinations that just came up short. Chain wrestling was the order of the day, hold
for hold, move for move, neither man would submit or be pinned. After a reverse into the turnbuckle WRESTLING II delivers a vicious clothesline in the corner and catches the falling Gotch with "MIILION DOLLAR" knee lift, and gets the 1,2,3. Time: 18:25. ANOTHER TITLE DEFENSE BY MR. WRESTLING II, HE SEEMS UNSTOPPABLE HERE IN GREAT NORTH WRESTLING! - MEAN GENE.

        **********************GNW WORLD TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH*********************

8. " The Irresistibles" Gorgeous George/Exotic Adrian Street vs. (CH) THE ROAD WARRIORS.
The most disappointing match of the night. It took longer for the challengers to prance to the ring to Right Said Fred's "I'M TOO SEXY"
to the jeering of the packed house, then the length of the match itself. The CHAMPS marched to the ring "IRON MAN" blaring through the
arena as the crowd roared. Quickly HAWK gets annoyed with Street's cartwheeling and prancing about. But as the two men lock up for the first time STREET PLANTS A BIG KISS ON HAWK'S LIPS!!!! After that it was chaos, Hawk pounding Street senseless, tagging Animal....DOOMSDAY
DEVICE....and the pin before the Gorgeous One can even get in the ring. Time: 3:15 THE ROAD WARRIORS WERE IN NO MOOD FOR THE ANTICS OFTHE IRRESISTIBLES TONIGHT - BRIAN SAGER.

  ******************************GNW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP***********************

9. Bobo Brazil vs. (CH) HARLEY RACE.
A good solid title defense for Harley Race, facing stiff competition from Brazil. After a feeling out process the two men got down to business.
Brazil follows a head-butt with a leg drop and gets a 1 count on the champ early on. Race gets rocked again as Bobo executes a back body drop, followed by an elbow drop and another pin attempt. Race kicks out a 2 and leaves the ring. Bobo attempts to reach through the ropes to get at Race, and the champ uses the ropes to choke Brazil. Once back in the squared circle, Race takes control. After a one count on the challenger, Harley starts his offensive with an eye gouge and a choke, breaking on the 4 count to avoid disqualification. With Brazil prone on the mat, Race jumps out of the corner from the second rope delivering a crushing leg drop....1, 2....Brazil bravely gets a shoulder up negating the pin. Race has had enough and starts laying heavy boots to Bobo. Then he pulls up his battered foe and delivers the "Coup de Gras" his devastating PILEDRIVER to get the victory. Time: 21:45. GNW CHAMP HARLEY RACE PROVES TO MUCH FOR THE GREAT BOBO BRAZIL IN TONIGHT'S MAIN EVENT - MEAN GENE OKERLUND.

GENE: THAT IS GONNA DO IT FOR TONIGHT! WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY, AND THE GNW THANKS EVERYONE HERE AND AT HOME WATCHING, FOR FOLLOWING GREAT NORTH WRESTLING. OUR NEXT EVENT IS THE "WIN AND YOU'RE IN 2" EVENT IN SAGINAW AS WE MAKE OUR MAKE OUR MICHIGAN DEBUT.....IT IS SURE TO BE HUGE! Loved the Wild West Show!

Ox Baker likes to hurt people, and he'll let nothing stand in his way of sending people to the hospital! I'm cheering for him to win the Inter-State Title!

No surprise that Adrian Street kissed Hawk on the lips. Also no surprise that Road Warriors turned it into a squash match--although I was hoping for an Irresistibles win!

Big wins for Buddy Rogers & Harley Race! Now we get the "Nature Boy" vs. the "Greatest Wrestler On God's Green Earth"--I'm going with Naitch on this one!

Good stuff, my friend! Keep those dice dizzy!

Thanks,I had a blast with this card. OX's dice have been hot!...Rogers vs. Race is a rematch of the inaugural World Title match, and it was a doozy,this one should be as well. First loss for The IRRESISTIBLES,I'm sure they will bounce back, they are a hoot!. Thanks so much for the feedback!

GENE: Hello wrestling fans welcome to this edition of GNW UPDATE, two days removed from our epic Billings, Montana
debut, the sold-out WILD WEST SHOW! What an amazing event, all 3 championships were defended successfully in front
of 25,000 rabid fans and of course the thousands at home watching on PPV. We aren't stopping there in fact GREAT NORTH
WRESTLING is just getting revved up for the remainder of this year. Lots of tidbits to share on this show (RANDY SAVAGE 
enters the camera-shot) WELL an unexpected visit from the MACHO MAN!!!!

SAVAGE: I hope ya don't mind Mean Gene...but I have something to say DIGGIT? (Okerlund nods.) I am ashamed of my
debut here in the GNW ohhhhh yeah! Buddy Rogers you won...and THE MACHO MAN doesn't like it yeah. Tell you what I'm
gonna do! On Valentine's Day at the next BIG show in FARGO, ND I think it's called CABIN FEVER, I AM GONNA MASSACRE
GREG VALENTINE....to get myself right, then you BUDDY ROGERS yeah, take that strap from HARLEY RACE....then you and I

1.Don Fargo vs. EDDIE GILBERT.
"Hot Stuff" gets past his physical opponent,getting the pin after recovering
from a double-clothesline, then executing a perfect "Hot Shot" on the game Fargo.Time: 10:31.

2.BRYAN DANIELSON vs. Les Thatcher
Danielson and Thatcher go back and forth in this one...a real chess match between 2 learned grapplers.Danielson gets the pin via "Spine-Buster". Time:8:53

3.JACKIE FARGO vs. Dino Bravo.
The brawler Fargo took this contest with some resistance, with a pin after a clothesline off the ropes. Time: 9:03.

4.MIKE GRAHAM vs. Bill Dundee.
Somewhat of an upset here.Despite Dundee's best efforts to turn this into a slug-fest, Graham keeps his cool and wrestles his way past the "Superstar" with an OKLAHOMA ROLL. Time: 12:27

SAGER: WE are halfway through this awesome evening, congratulations to our first four winners, grab a beverage, take a break we will be back after this short Intermission!

5.DICK THE BRUISER vs. Alexis Smirnoff
Needless to say this was a war!..Smirnoff battled the Brusier tooth and nail. Inside and outside they bloodied each other.Finally imposing his will in this match Bruiser gets Smirnoff to submit via the STOMACH CLAW. Time:10:08.

6.2 Cold Scorpio vs. THE GRAPPLER.
Frustrated by the wrestling prowess and exceution of technical moves, the out-gunned GRAPPLER, decides to turn out Scorpio's lights early with a LOADED BOOT. Time:4:35.

7.TULLY BLANCHARD vs. Hillbilly Jim.
An even contest from the bell, Jim's strength and Blanchard's skill and cunning. Blanchard nearly submits to the mighty hillbilly's bear-hug, but Tully skillfully turns the tide and gets the pin via his SLING-SHOT SUPLEX. Time: 13:11.

8.BIG VAN VADER vs. "The Animal" Steele.
What a gutsy performance from the Animal.He refused to go down easy in this one...and dished out some punishment of his own as well. In the end VADER was just too much,pinning Steele after several powerbombs. Time:11:20.
