Oh! The Baron sneaks a win from the Superfly! Ha ha!! Los Vaqueros with a big win agains the The Irresistibles (love the team name)! The Bruiser won't be denied against Tully Blanchard. I used to love going to see the Bruiser beat up his opponents back in the day! Harley! So bummed he succumbed to the Killer Claw! Great action! Fun matches! Thanks I'm a big Bruiser era fan myself,he was my favorite guy to work for and my first "Boss" in the business. RACE has been the champ from the git go, and I myself couldn't believe after the competition he has beaten already that Kowalski would be the one!...it's hard sometimes to let the dice do the talking, but that is how this is played....thanks so much for stopping in and your input is appreciated! |

1.EDDIE GILBERT vs. D'lo Brown. (Squash)
Brown hasn't been the same since Ox Baker put him on the shelf a few weeks back. HOT STUFF puts him away quickly with a three move series ending with his HOTSHOT! TIME: 3:23.
2.Terry Taylor vs. RICK RUDE.
What started out as a Terry Taylor wrestling clinic with Taylor out-wrestling Rude with scientific precision soon turned after a failed sunset flip pin attempt by Taylor.Rude used a well placed thumb to the eye to gain the advantage. The battle then spills to the outside,The RAVISHING ONE getting the better of it,tosses his foe back into the ring. Delivering first a backbreaker,a Rude Awakening does the rest. Victory for RUDE TIME: 8:17.
3.Jackie Fargo vs. JAY YOUNGBLOOD.
Fargo using his brawling tactics, applies a world of hurt on Youngblood. Failing to get an early pin, Fargo decides to continue his brutal assault. Luckily Youngblood charges out of the corner with a big back elbow to stop Fargo in his tracks. Using his agility advantage the young Native American star turns Fargo into a human pretzel, but still he fails to pin him. After tossing Youngblood outside and introducing him to the floor,railing and ringpost...Fargo goes back to his bread and butter...kicking and stomping. Fargo tries an elbow drop out of the corner but misses! After a series of dropkicks, slams and chops, Youngblood pins Fargo after a TOP ROPE TOMAHAWK. TIME:10:20.

4.BLOND BOMBERS(Hanson/R.Hawk) vs. Wrath/Mortis.BOMBERS BY DQ.
This was a great showing by both teams in their GNW debuts.Old school brawlers vs. new school power. Both teams had multiple pin attempts during the match. Swede Hanson and Rip Hawk worked like a well oiled machine at times, and Wrath and Mortis also clicked on all cylinders with a savage double-team on Hawk...soon however frustration and tempers flared. A huge brawl outside erupted,Wrath and Mortis incapacitated Hanson, then were disqualified for putting Rip Hawk through a table. TIME: 13:05.
5.Ted Dibiase vs. ADRIAN STREET.
Scoop-slam and leg-drop followed by a 2 count had Ted an early lead in this one,but the wiley STREET wasn't going down easy. Back and forth this one went, looking like a draw was going to happen. BUT out of nowhere STREET ducks a clothesline...and executes his CRUCIFIX for a quick 1,2,3. STREET WINS
TIME: 12:13.

SGT. SLAUGHTER vs. Big Van Vader
Winner gets a GNW WORLD TITLE shot

WHAT an epic battle between these 2 superstars! The SARGE goes for the pin early using a scoop-slam and falling fist, but VADER kicks out with ease.The two men bashed each other with heavy kicks and power-packed punches.VADER gets a near fall after a Moonsault on the prone Slaughter. .but SARGE kicks out at 2. After a double-clothesline puts both behemoths on the mat, Sarge takes over with a COBRA-CLUTCH...but Vader refuses to yield. The hold takes some of the starch out of Vader, who never quite recovers from its effects, and Slaughter gets the pin,but only after 3 SLAUGHTER CANNONS in a row! TIME: 17:46.
SAGER: How about that fans!!!!(deafening crowd noise) SGT SLAUGHTER gets a World Championship match!!!....let's hear it for all the great action we witnessed here tonight SIOUX CITY!!!....SAFE TRAVELS HOME EVERYONE...WE WILL BE BACK SOON....THINGS ARE HOT IN THE GREAT NORTH!!! Good Night!!!!

THE ROAD WARRIORS will defend their GNW TAG-TEAM gold against the current NO.1 contenders REGINALD & HARTFORD the LOVE BROS.....LET'S DO THIS!!!!
1.PG-13 vs. The Texas Hangmen. PG-13 win by DQ.
A short but eventful match between two solid teams. The Hangmen push the tempo early with the power game, but eventually the young guys battle back. J.C. readies himself for a deathjump on Killer, but PSYCHO interferes and pushes him to the floor. Pyscho's tactic leaves the ref no choice but to disqualify the Hangmen. TIME: 5:47.
2.Los Vaqueros (Chavo Sr./Hector Guerrero) vs. WRATH/MORTIS.
A match between two similar but yet different styles. The agile quick high-flying Vaqueros, and the agility Power attack of Wrath and Mortis. Hector nearly pins Mortis with a perfectly timed Gory Special, but interference from Wrath breaks it up. Chavo comes in at one point and reverses an Irish-whip into the ropes by Wrath but telegraphs his back bodydrop attempt and Wrath kicks him squarely in the mush and tags in MORTIS. With Wrath holding a charging HECTOR at bay MORTIS gets the pin on Chavo Sr. via his dreaded FLATLINER. TIME 12:47.
3.The Fabulous Ones (KEIRN/LANE) vs. THE BLACKJACKS (Mulligan/Lanza). Blackjacks by DQ.
Hard to believe the popular Fabulous Ones would get DQ'ed , but that is the end result of this fracas. Keirn and Lane use their fast tags and teamwork to stymie the more powerful Blackjacks. No resolution could be made even though both teams had numerous pin and/or submission attempts. This one spills outside the ring where Keirn losses his temper and the match by using a chair to lay out both Mulligan and Lanza. TIME: 11:04.

4.The Long Riders (Scott & Bill Irwin) vs. BOBO BRAZIL/AHMED JOHNSON.
The Irwin Brothers never get started in this one as Bobo and Johnson dominate from bell to bell. In fact, Scott never evens gets into the ring in this one. Wild Bill gets powerbombed outside the ring by JOHNSON while the ref is busy arguing with the frustrated Scott, turning his attention back to the match he gives Bill who is unable to get back into the ring A TEN-COUNT. TIME: 4:54.
5.The Blond Bombers (Swede Hanson/Rip Hawk) vs. Iron Sheik/Nikolai Volkoff. ******DRAW***********
Two savage teams clash in this one. The big Hanson and Volkoff matched each other power for power, while the Sheik and Hawk also trade fists, kicks and holds. Neither team could get a pin or submission and time expires with all 4 men physically and mentally exhausted. TIME: 30:00.
****************************GNW WORLD TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MAIN EVENT*****************
The Love Brothers (Reginald/Hartford) vs. THE ROAD WARRIORS (CH).
The world champs knew they were tested this night! The brothers cut HAWK off from his partner for the majority of the match. They double-teamed their way to 2 pin attempts. One Hawk Kicked out at 2...the other ANIMAL rushed in for the save. Hartford tries a maneuver off the ropes but Animal pulls the rope down and Hartford crashes to the floor! While outside the ring ANIMAL attacks and then tosses a dazed and battered Hartford back into the ring. Then with their foe helpless all it takes is a DOOMSDAY DEVICE.....1,2,3.... the L.O.D. retain the GNW TAG-TEAM BELTS. TIME 17:51.
