Ironic given your occupation, don't you think? I too would use study hall and class time to book cards. It's alright, Matt.

It was a good listen. I am still trying to figure out how in the world the Norse Gods were so highly rated. Was I listening correctly - were they rated ahead of Battering Ram and The Incredible Badger?
If so, what. the. hell.

I listened to the last two episodes today...back to teleworking a few days a week so I can have the cell close by and listen... Great Stuff...love the look backs that the CGSRs...so much fun! Yes, Yes, I know the snowfall totals are nothing like they are for you "Northern Folk" but I feel you stu! We got 6 & 1/2 inches during the "first storm" and then close to 2 more a few nights later during the second. It was a winter wonderland here at the new house (if you are a "Facebook Friend" you saw the pictures), we haven't had that much snow here in this part of Maryland in at least a few years (first really big storm since I arrived in Jan 2019). ----- BTW, I don't know if it was the latest episode or the second to last where Forge, the blacksmith of fame in the FTR was discussed very briefly, but I chuckled at the "my precious" comparison with Gollum. When Rob sent me the story he wanted to use, I instantly thought of and told Rob, I was feeling a bit of Ciampa's "Goldie" relationship with the NXT Title...which if you ask me, Gollum & My Precious = Ciampa & Goldie. Adn finally...I really DIG that My Fellow Promoters like how Forge came out. I know Rob was initially thinking, "What the hell is Pete doing sending me a blacksmith?", but he made it work.

I listened to this podcast. Good to hear Mark Ashby again!
Regarding Tim's comment about using Algebra, it reminded me of recently covering an Algebra class at my high school. Right now we have alot of teachers out sick (about 20 in my school just last Friday) so it has been all hands on deck covering classes on our preps to help try to keep the schools open which works for me as I have been making some extra money covering these extra classes.
One of these classes I covered earlier this year was an Algebra class and I (who have not had Algebra since the early 1990s) was trying to do Algebraic equations on the board for the class I was covering. The students looked confused and one of them said I did not follow the Order of Operations. I was thinking they were correct but I told them "Very good, I was testing you to make sure you were paying attention." That worked and from now on when I cover Math I just pass out the assignment which is all we are really expected to do when we cover classes in subjects we are not proficient.

Sounds like when I cover math classes, Zeke! Actually, I covered a bunch of middle school math classes earlier this year. (I think the level would be considered Pre-Algebra.) The teacher asked me to do more than just hand out an assignment but also to work through the problems with the kids. I was nervous about it but my math skills slowly came back and really had fun with it!

Vegas - this pay period I will have subbed 12 times over 10 days. Just an insanely high number. It covered my Perennial Ticket with tournaments, my aCe physical copy sets, and basically all of the aCe and P.O.W. Download and Print. We had approximately 65 sub openings since we've been back (multiple days for many teachers), and we have had exactly 5 subs total. The rest, many six periods per day, were filled by teachers in the schools.
