I thought of this last night. Not a dad joke. Probably not even that funny but it amused me so here it is.
I am working on writing a novel. It will be a sequel to Around the World in 80 Days. I am calling it, Around the World in 79 Days.

For those that do not know, I work at a hotel. This coming weekend we have a guest arriving with the first name of Santa. He reserved a few rooms, and I joked it must be for Christmas in July. Then I told my manager I was not sure if they were for his elves or reindeer. I asked, if his reindeer do we consider them pets or transportation. He said they might be considered service animals.  |

Today I received a call and the ID said, "Private Caller". I did not answer. I only answer calls from Majors or higher rank.

I saw a headline that said "Record breaking rain" and I thought, damn that must be some heavy rain. I mean, records are not made out of metal or anything but for rain to break them it was some strong rain.

Here's one I thought of, but it only makes sense if you know your 80's hair metal bands...
Everyone knows Hanoi rocks, but how many people remember Saigon kicks?
BTW, Hanoi Rocks and Saigon Kick were both hair metal bands.
