I am thinking Galacticon in Chicago will have a bigger attendance than usual and I am not sure the room will hold everyone. But maybe I misjudged the size of the room when I saw it as I am a little tired friom my red eye flight (although I did get some sleep on the plane.) Did you notice if there was a retractable wall? While the fact the meeting space is named it makes me think it is a set size, some larger meeting rooms are subdivided by a retractable wall. Hopefully that is the case and you guys have more space for actual Con. I did not think to look for a retractable wall, but it might be good if the room could expand in size. I am just thinking that we had a great turnout in Pittsburgh in 2018 and that this weekend's Michigan Room room would have trouble holding the Pittsburgh turnout as I remember sitting at the back table in Pittsburgh during the Q and A in the front of the room and seeing all the other filled tables in the room. And I would think that Chicago would have a bigger turnout than Pittsburgh. But I will defer to Tournament Master who says the Michigan Room has space for 60 some people and tomorrow's attendance is expected to be in the 40s. |

Really hope everyone has a safe and wonderfully fun time... More than any other year, I truly wish I could be there... Instead, I'll be at work wondering why someone just smashed their partner in the face with an alarm clock... Or tried to rob a gas station with a spatula... Or broke into that hardware store to steal a display rack of uncut keys... Seriously? I can't make this stuff up. 🤦♂️

It's funny how much there is to keep up with since the final two have a regular match. I popped huge for Swinger throwing Shark Boy over the top at the Impact anniversary show before remembering it wasn't an elimination at that point. 🤣 |
