The easiest way was to have purchased a ticket to Galacticon online whether you attended or not as Rob had mentioned multiple times. Now, you'll have to hope either a promoter doesn't want his or her copy or you win an auction. Here's the thing with that. I work Saturday's so can't participate in the virtual cons. I don't play Legends so I could care less about getting that card. Now I'm paying $15 dollars for one card and if I don't I'm SOL unless someone wants to sell me one? I want the card, I play Kronos but now feel it's incomplete. There has to be a better system, maybe a three to six month waiting period until it's in the shop and it's only for a limited time and sell until they're gone? Maybe they're made to order and I'm being ridiculous IDK. |

To me, the cards are like playing the lottery, but you know you will at least get something. I purchased the virtual ticket just for the cards. I was happy with Paralyze. Not as much for Paul but I will probably find a use for him. I am kicking around a few ideas. But as long as I get one card I like for the $15 while a bit pricey it is still a win. I mean I have bought whole sets for just a few of the cards.

Get the ticket just for the cards (like I did this time because I couldn't be there for day one...aaaand got in late on day two). Keep the card you want, sell the one you don't, and you break even at worst. OR, go in halves with a legends player and the one of you who puts it on their account sends the card to the other guy. |

Some people paid $45 and got a taco bar with the cards. So look at it like you saved $30 on tacos.

I don't play the GWF (or Indies), so I only wanted the Legend card. I paid the full price. |

yeah i kinda hate this. like bennie babies creating a fake collectors market. its pretty shitty to the fans. i completely missed the con even happening cuz i cant always give the message board a lot of time cuz of ya know... real life. so now i gotta pay someone $50 for a single card. the filsinger company and all the ppl that defend every move they make can say whatever they want. flat out... this is pretty shitty for the fans.

I believe a LE GCON card was advertised well in advance and there was plenty of time to grab a ticket. It gives everyone an incentive to attend...
Better pay $15 than $50 down the road...besides who is charging $50? That's nuts...
