Some people paid $45 and got a taco bar with the cards. So look at it like you saved $30 on tacos. Hey, Swarm, but that taco bar was present for almost 24 hours, I mean so ... multiple meals. You cannot put a price on that, right?  |

I agree there should be a waiting period for new players, but for already existing players that had the opportunity, thats how it is. I don't play the GWF (or Indies), so I only wanted the Legend card. I paid the full price. I'll go in on it with you next time and from now on (unless I won the MegaMillions tonight, then it's all on me.) I'd have zero issue with this |

I believe a LE GCON card was advertised well in advance and there was plenty of time to grab a ticket. We’ve been doing LE cards at GCON for awhile now. Spike, Omega and Paralyze the last three years. We did Chaos Supreme for a VCon. I’ll of course post reminders leading up to our conventions, but fans can expect and prepare for this trend to continue. If it was up to me, the LOW cards would be main event level playing cards, too. I’m all for making GCON as special as possible for attendees. |

yeah i kinda hate this. like bennie babies creating a fake collectors market. its pretty shitty to the fans. i completely missed the con even happening cuz i cant always give the message board a lot of time cuz of ya know... real life. so now i gotta pay someone $50 for a single card. the filsinger company and all the ppl that defend every move they make can say whatever they want. flat out... this is pretty shitty for the fans. I've expressed this at various times: I don't want Filsinger to become a company that has various LE cards that will never be offered again. I've said my solution is easy: After a year of being released, you can buy either online or print for $15 or say $25 for both. Im not a fan of leaving fans out just because they started playing at a later date. That shouldn't be what this game is about. However, if you were already playing and knew about the con, then you don't have the excuse. They've been offering these SE cards at every con for the past two years and July is bascially a staple for Galacticon. And we all have real life. I am married, have kids, coach, work a regular jog, work 20 plus hours a week working with Cornette and play Legends whenever I can. We all are busy. Plus, it's not only advertised on the message board. It's also on the regular main website, their twitter, facebook |

For example, GCON 2023, your admission fee gets you the COTG LE & LOW LE card like always. For an additional fee you can grab each previous years releases (as a two pack) for an additional admission cost (say $15 for each pair). So a new player would pay his 2023 GCON fee, get his two cards, then another $45 to grab the 2020, 2021 and 2022 cards. If you already have 2020 and 2021, you just pay an additional $15 to grab Paralyze & Ellering. Offer them annually and if you miss out you know not to miss out next year. |
