Yeah, I managed, still not selling them.  Kiera is my favored of the Hogans for sure. Also in agreement on Mike Awesome...totally want an Awesome card. We have many awesome cards, TTX. |

I was defending Hogan's work just a few posts ago, so I'm not sure where the "contrarian" accusation is coming from. I suppose propping up Hogan as a genuinely good between-the-bells worker (and not just "working a crowd") is somewhat contrarian in certain spheres. But Hogan was good because he was good. Not because he made the most money. .... That wasn't directed at you, but the original commenter that said he was the $#!+$. I was just throwing it your way because you're the one engaging in a solid discussion. I mean, if you want to have flame war circa 2002 I can probably still figure out how to do that and am probably still good at it, but it's a lot of wasted energy. |

Would love to have Hogan... he was not my favorite, but he is arguably the top wrestling star of all time... how could you NOT want him in the game?

I would flip for an official Flair card, but Hogan would be an Incredible get, and we would be able to recreate some of the most memorable matches in history with some of the cards we already have, like Piper, Savage, and Andre... |

I think it was directed at me lol ... I actually really like the discussion so far. I think a lot of it is personal preference. If the game got the chance to sign Hogan ya gotta do it. I know he is a big part of that history and was big part of their childhood.
He had high charisma and knew how to politic to those backstage and the crowd. But imo I just dont think he was that good. Why do u re-watch mania3? Savage/Steamboat. He wasnt the worst wrestler and if I said that or gave that impression that's my mistake. I didnt mean any disrespect and I know I'm in the minority here. I love we can have a discourse here and discuss things.
We will never know what would happen in an alt realm where Savage got pushed over him or if he had put over Bret what would have happened. But I think they would have been bigger especially Savage.

I'd be happy if we got Hogan in the game, but he's not even close to my top 5 or and probably not even in my top ten wants for the game, which are as follows: 1. Color Rude 2. Ric Flair 3. Pat Patterson 4. Dusty Rhodes 5. Dick Murdoch 6. Terry Funk 7. Ricky Steamboat 8. Dick The Bruiser 9. Arn Anderson 10. Dick Slater |

And yes, if I had to choose one or the other for Legends, I'd choose Flair over Hogan. Flair's more versatile and fitting for what I want my Legends feds to be.
