Definitely going to need a no disqualifications match between Race and Hennig and the Windham and Rotunda when you come back from hiatus. Definitely. Race & Hennig will be leaving the territory if they don't win.

FYI - I might change my mind when I have the new set in hand but I currently plan on continuing USA Wrestling into year two and starting Championship Wrestling from Kansas City to run concurrently with year two. Plans subject to change, of course. Anyway, thanks to everyone who read LWF: Legacy of Gold. I'll return to it eventually.

LWF Legacy of Gold 3.09 Gordon Solie and Jesse Ventura welcome the fans to the show and announce that the LWF Legacy of Gold has lost pay per view coverage and had to release dozens of wrestlers but is down but not out. They plug the main event of Harley Race & Larry Hennig vs. The US Express in a No Disqualification match. Solie and Venture introduce the first match.
1. Austin Idol vs. Johnny Rodz Idol takes Rodz down and locks on the Las Vegas Leglock for a quick win.
Winner - Austin Idol by submission
Solie and Venture put over Austin Idol and introduce the next match.
2. Adrian Adonis vs. Brian Blair Adonis takes Blair apart in the opening minutes. Blair catches him with a small package for a two count. Blair locks on the Cobra Clutch and Adonis taps out!
Winner - Brian Blair by submission
Gordon Solie leaves the booth to talk to Brian Blair. Blair says now that he’s beaten a former LWF World Heavyweight Champion, it’s time for a title shot. Adonis returns to ringside and says it was a fluke and Blair can never beat him a second time. Blair says he’ll beat Adonis a second time and Adonis slaps him in the face. The two men brawl until security arrives.
The show takes a commercial break. When it returns, the next match is in progress.
3. Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko vs. The Moondogs Zbyszko and Rex are duking it out when the show returns from commercial. Zbsyzko and Rex battle back and forth. Zbyszko hits a low back suplex with bridge for a two count. Zbsyzko hits a boot scrape and tags in Garea. Garea and Rex battle back and forth. Garea hits a jackknife cradle for a two count. Rex makes a comeback and tags in Spot. Garea turns things around and locks on an Abdominal Stretch but Rex distracts the referee so he doesn’t see Spot tap out. Zbyszko throws Rex to the floor. Garea tags in Zbyszko. Zbsyzko hits a vertical suplex but Rex makes the save. Zbyszko and Garea hit the facelock-sunset flip for the win.

Ventura says it takes more than one win to impress him. Gordon introduces the next segment, a video montage of Bob Backlund training. Gordon announces that in two weeks, Backlund will take on Jack Brisco in a return match for the LWF World Heavyweight title, this one two out of three falls. Once the segment is over, Ventura introduces the next match.
4. Big John Studd vs. Ranger Ross Studd hoists Ross up at the opening bell and locks on an over the knee backbreaker. Ross screams in pain but doesn’t submit. Studd works Ross over. Ross tries mounting a comeback but Studd swats him down. Studd tortures Ross and hits a body slam for a two count. Studd locks on the over the shoulder backbreaker and Ross submits.
Winner - John Studd by pinfall
Studd takes his time leaving the ring and comes face to face with Tony Atlas. Mad Dog Vachon, Atlas’ opponent, attacks Atlas from behind. Atlas turns the tables on him and gorilla presses him into the ring. The referee calls for the time keeper to ring the bell.
5. Tony Atlas vs. Mad Dog Vachon Atlas hits a press slam and splash but Vachon barely gets a shoulder up before the three count. Vachon makes a comeback and hits the piledriver but Atlas kicks out. Vachon hits a second piledriver but Atlas gets his foot on the ropes. Vachon throws Atlas out of the ring and hits a piledriver on the concrete. Atlas rolls back into the ring before the count out but is in rough shape. Vachon hits another piledriver for the win.
Winner - Mad Dog Vachon by pinfall
Atlas is prone in the ring and Big John Studd returns to ringside. He drops a few elbows on Atlas and leaves. Atlas has to be helped to the back.
Ventura and Solie say Atlas is headed to a local medical facility for observation and introduce the main event.
6. Harley Race & Larry Hennig vs. US Express - No DQ Race and Rotundo start the match. Race and Rotundo grapple back and forth. Race whips Rotundo to the buckles and Rotundo rolls him up for a two count. Rotundo and Windham hit a double dropkick. Windham hits another dropkick and Race tags in Hennig.Windham and Rotundo double elbow Hennig to the mat. Rotundo hits an atomic drop and covers Hennig for a two count. Rotundo hits a crossbody from the top for a two count and tags in Windham. Hennig makes a comeback and tags in Race. Race hits a back suplex and covers Windham while Hennig nails Rotundo with the axe. The referee makes the three count.

LWF Legacy of Gold 3.10 Gordon Solie and Jesse Ventura welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Ilio DiPaolo & Red Lyons vs. Slaughter & Kernodle for the LWF World Tag Team titles. They also announce that Brian Blair and Adrian Adonis will lock up again next week and Tony Atlas has challenged Big John Studd to a singles match. With that, they introduce the first match.
1. Angelo Mosca vs. SD Jones Mosca mauls Jones in the opening minutes and dumps him over the top rope to the floor. Mosca hits a powerslam on the concrete and Jones barely beats the count back into the ring. Jones makes a fiery comeback but Mosca is soon back in control. Mosca nails Jones with an elbow smash to the face. SD gets to his feet and Mosca nails him with another elbow smash to the face. Mosca hits a big right hand and covers SD but Jones gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Mosca locks on the Sleeper and SD submits.
Winner - Angelo Mosca by submission
Gordon leaves the booth to get a word with Mosca. Mosca says he’s the meanest wrestler in the LWF and will prove it against anyone. Mad Dog Vachon comes out of the crowd and says he’ll face Mosca any time, any where. Mosca says ‘Book it!’ and punches Mad Dog in the face. Mosca and Mad Dog are fighting on the ground and the show goes to commercial. When it returns, the next match is in progress.
2. Eric The Red vs. Rick McCord Eric the Red has the match under control when the show returns from commercial. Eric repeatedly smashes McCord with his knee and covers him for a three count.
Winner - Eric the Red by pinfall
Solie and Ventura say Eric the Red is one to watch and introduce the next match, hyping the Blond Bombers.
3. Blond Bombers vs. Red Pepper Patterson and Bastien start the match. Patterson and Bastien battle back and forth. Patterson hits a throat drop on the ropes for a two count. Patterson hits an atomic drop for a two count and nails Bastien with the Bombs Away and covers him but Gomez fights past Stevens and makes the save. Patterson tags in Stevens. Stevens and Patterson double team Bastien. Stevens knocks Gomez off the apron and Patterson covers Bastien for the three count.
Winners - Blond Bombers by pinfall
After the match, Gordon Solie goes down to ringside to chat with the Blond Bombers. Patterson and Stevens say the LWF is lucky they finally have a team as skilled as the Blond Bombers. They drag the other teams and single out Harley Race & Larry Hennig as being out of shape losers. Race and Hennig storm the ring area and the two teams get into a wild brawl. Gordon gets out of the way and the show goes to commercial. When it returns, Gary Michael Cappetta is announcing the participants in the next match.
4. Frank Gotch vs. Tiger Conway Jr Gotch wastes no time and attacks Conway before Cappetta is finished with the intros. Gotch plants Conway with the Iowa Backdrop and locks on the Gotch Toehold. Conway quickly taps out.

Ventura and Solie are both impressed with Frank Gotch. They get word from the back that Harley Race & Larry Hennig will take on the Blond Bombers next week. They introduce the next match.
5. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Mike DiBiase Monsoon and DIBiase battle back and forth. DiBiase gets some momentum going and hits the top rope knee to the back for a two count. DiBIase knocks Monsoon out of the ring with a dropkick and gives him a piledriver on the concrete. Monsoon beats the count back into the ring but is on wobbly legs. DiBiase hits another top rope knee to the back but can’t put Gorilla away. DiBiase hits a piledriver and covers Monsoon for the three count.
Winner - Mike DiBiase by pinfall
Solie and Ventura put over DiBiase’s performance against the much larger Monsoon and introduce the main event.
6. Ilio DiPaolo & Red Lyons vs. Slaughter & Kernodle - return match for the LWF World Tag Team championship Lyons and Kernodle start the match. Lyons gets the better of Kernodle and locks on the sleeper hold but Kernodle escapes. Lyons locks on the figure four but Kernodle won’t submit and fights his way to the ropes. Lyons tags in DiPaolo. DiPaolo throws Kernodle out of the ring and nails him with a big right hand. Kernodle goes down hard and gets counted out.
Winners - DiPaolo and Lyons, their first title defense
As DiPaolo & Lyons hold the belts high, Brody & Hansen hit the ring and brawl with the champs until security arrives. Solie and Ventura sign off, inviting the fans to tune in for an action packed card next week featuring Bob Backlund vs. Jack Brisco in a ⅔ falls match for the belt, as well as Studd vs. Atlas, Blair vs. Adonis, Race & Hennig vs. THe Blond Bombers, and many more!

LWF Legacy of Gold 3.11 Gordon Solie and Jesse Ventura welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Bob Backlund vs. Jack Brisco in a ⅔ falls match for the LWF World Heavyweight Championship. With that, they introduce the first match of a no doubt action packed show..
1. Race & Hennig vs. Blond Bombers Race and Stevens start the match. Race and Stevens brawl on the outside and Stevens comes out on top. Stevens and Patterson double team Race in the corner. Race makes a comeback and throws Patterson out of the ring. Race cracks Patterson with a chair and the referee calls for the bell.
Winners - The Blond Bombers by DQ
Solie says promoters will want to sign a rematch between the two teams. Ventura introduces the next match featuring a man after his own heart, Austin Idol.
2. Austin Idol Vs. Mr X Idol knocks Mr X senseless with a clothesline and clamps on the Las Vegas Leglock for a quick submission.
Winner - Austin Idol by submission
Gordon leaves the booth to get a word with Austin Idol. Idol challenges the winner of tonight’s main event to a match for the LWF World Heavyweight title. The show cuts to a commercial break and returns with the next match in progress.
3. Brian Blair vs. Adrian Adonis Adonis hits a snap mare but Blair comes back and drills him with a flying forearm smash. Blair goes to the top and Adonis goes up after him. Blair knocks Adonis senseless with forearm shots and shoves him back into the ring. Adonis and Blair battle back and forth. Blair nails Adonis with a flying forearm smash for a two count. Adonis rolls out of the ring to catch a breather and Blair goes out after him. Adonis ambushes Blair and slams him into the ring post. Adonis rolls Blair back into the ring. Adonis locks on Goodnight Irene but Blair is able to grab the rope. Blair makes a comeback and nails Adonis with another flying forearm smash for the win.
Winner - Brian Blair by pinfall
Adonis attacks Blair from behind after the match and hits a DDT. Adonis leaves Blair lying in the ring.
Ventura says he appreciates Adonis’ enthusiasm. Gordon shakes his head and introduces the next match.
4. Garea & Zbyszko vs.The Texas Hangmen Garea and Psycho start the match. Psycho overpowers Garea and throws him out of the ring. Garea lands on his feet and drags Psycho under the bottom rope. Garea slams him into the guard rail and rolls him back into the ring. Garea and Zbyszko hit a double dropkick. Psycho overpowers Zbyszko and chokes him with the bullrope. Killer covers Zbyszko and Psycho holds off Garea while the referee makes the three count.
Winners - The Texas Hangmen by pinfall
Zbyszko grabs the bullrope and loops it around Psycho’s neck after the match. The two teams brawl until security arrives.
Gordon leaves the booth to get a word from Tony Altas before the next match. Atlas says he’s going to body slam Big John Studd and show the world he can be beaten. Atlas does some free squats as Gordon leaves the ring.
5. Big John Studd vs. Tony Atlas Atlas nails Studd with a jumping headbut at the opening bell. Studd shrugs it off and locks on a bear hug. Studd and Atlas battle outside the ring and Atlas slams Studd into the ring post. Studd clubs Atlas to the mat and locks on a bear hug. Atlas fights his way out of the hold. Studd hoists Atlas up into the over the shoulder backbreaker. Atlas submits.
Winner - Big John Studd by submission
Ventura puts over BIg John Studd as a future challenger for the LWF World Heavyweight title. Gordon says Backlund and Skaaland have been watching tapes of Brisco and probably have some strategies in mind for tonight’s ⅔ falls main event.
6. Bob Backlund with Arnold Skaaland vs. Jack Brisco - ⅔ falls match for the LWF World Heavyweight title Backlund and Brisco grapple back and forth. Brisco gets a two count with a lateral guillotine and hits the rolling reverse cradle for another near fall. Brisco hits a second rolling reverse cradle for a near fall. Brisco won’t let up! He hits a dropkick for a two count. Backlund rolls out of the ring to confer with Arnold Skaaland. Brisco comes out after him and Backlund’s fire is ignited! He muscles Brisco back into the ring and hits an underhook suplex for a two count. Backlund hits a delayed vertical suplex and locks on the Boston Crab. Brisco fights his way to the ropes. Backlund hoists Brisco up and hits a big atomic drop for a two count. Brisco makes a comeback and hits a rolling reverse cradle for a three count to capture the first fall.
After a thirty second rest period, the match resumes. Backlund and Brisco battle back and forth. Brisco hits another rolling reverse cradle for the win.
Winner - Jack Brisco by pinfall. Jack Brisco has regained the LWF World Heavyweight title!
After the match, Backlund gets on the mic and says they’re tied 1-1 and challenges Brisco to a Throw in the Towel Match for the LWF World Heavyweight Championship to settle things once and for all. Brisco says he’ll see Backlund in the ring.
Solie and Venture sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week when Ilio Dipaolo & Red Lyons take on Brody & Hansen with the LWF World Tag Team titles on the line!

LWF Legacy of Gold 3.12 Gordon Solie and Jesse Venture welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Ilio DiPaolo & Red Lyons vs. Brody & Hansen for the LWF World Tag Team titles. They also announce that Jack Brisco vs. Bob Backlund in a Throw in the Towel match for the LWF World Heavyweight title is scheduled for next week with Jerry Brisco and Arnold Skaaland as the corner men. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Fuji & Saito vs. The Taylors Fuji and Tugboat start the match. Fuji chops away at Tugboat before maneuvering him into a double team in the corner with Saito. Saito covers him for a two count. Saito hits an Oriental Leg Sweep but Chaz makes the save. Taylor tries mounting a comeback but finds himself double teamed in the corner again. Taylor makes the hot tag to Chaz but Fuji quickly shuts him down and tags in Saito. Saito drills Chaz with the Saito Suplex for a two count. Saito hits another Saito Suplex for the win.
Winner - Fuji & Saito by pinfall
Ventura says the tag team scene in the LWF is heading up. Gordon leaves the booth to get a world from Gorilla Monsoon at ringside. Gorilla is fired up and says he’ll beat Eric the Red to get back on track. Gorilla gets into the ring and Gordon heads back to the booth.
2. Gorilla Monsoon vs. Eric the Red Monsoon and Eric the Red battle back and forth. Monsoon hits the Manchurian Landslide but Eric gets his foot on the ropes. Gorilla nails Eric with a running tackle for a two count and hoists him up in a bear hug. Eric taps out.

Ventura puts over the big win from Gorilla Monsoon. Gordon introduces the next match.
3. Tiger Conway Jr vs. Ric McCord The match is all Conway but he can’t seem to keep McCord down for long. Conway whips McCord to the buckles and McCord rolls him up for the win.

A dejected Tiger Conway Jr sulks on the way to the back until his father, Tiger Conway Sr, comes out of the crowd. The two Conways go through the curtain together. The show goes to commercial. When it returns, Frank Gotch and Gordon Solie are in the ring.
Gotch says he has an eye on the LWF World Heavyweight Championship but he’ll bide his time for now. Gotch says he’ll prove the Gotch Toehold can beat anyone, anywhere, any time. Gotch takes his corner and Gordon heads back to the booth while Gotch’s opponent is introduced.
4. Frank Gotch vs. Mike DiBiase Gotch quickly plants DiBiase with the Iowa Backdrop and locks on the guillotine choke. DiBiase is able to break the hold. Gotch hits an Iowa Backdrop and covers DiBiase for a two count. Gotch wears DiBiase down with two reverse nelsons. Gotch locks on the Gotch Toehold and DiBiase taps out.
Winner - Frank Gotch by submission
Solie wonders if Gotch is right and the Gotch Toehold IS the deadliest hold in the LWF. Ventura says time will tell and introduces the next match.
5. Angelo Mosca vs. Mad Dog Vachon Mosca and Vachon battle back and forth. Vachon gets some momentum going and hits the gutbuster for a two count. Mosca makes a comeback and locks on the sleeper but Vachon fights his way out of the hold. Mosca tags Vachon with a couple big right hands and covers him for a two count. Mosca drills Vachon with an elbow smash to the face and locks on the Sleeper. Vachon taps out.

Solie and Ventura introduce the main event.
6. Ilio DiPaolo & Red Lyons Vs. Brody & Hansen - LWF World Tag Team title match Lyons and Hansen start the match. Hansen gets some momentum going and hits a big elbow drop for a two count. Hansen locks on the Brazos Valley Backbreaker, bringing DiPaolo into the ring. DiPaolo breaks the hold and the referee warns him and ushers him back out on the apron. Lyons hits a rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Lyon throws Hansen out of the ring and tags in DiPaolo. DiPaolo goes out after Hansen and pays the price. Hansen slams DiPaolo on the concrete and rolls him back into the ring. Hansen tags in Brody. DiPaolo and Brody battle back and forth. DiPaolo hits a body slam for a two count. DiPaolo tags in Lyons and Lyons locks on the Figure Four but Brody makes it to the ropes. Lyons hits a rolling reverse cradle on Brody for a two count. Lyons tags DiPaolo back in. DiPaolo clamps on the body scissors and rolls Brody over for a two count. DiPaolo hoists Brody up in the airplane spin but Hansen makes the save. DiPaolo tags in Lyons. Lyons locks on the figure four and DiPaolo holds off Hansen. Brody taps out!

Ventura and Solie thank the fans for tuning in and plug next week’s main event of Jack Brisco vs. Bob Backlund in a throw in the towel match for the LWF World Heavyweight title plus a rematch between Race & Hennig and the Blond Bombers.
