YEAR ONE- NOVEMBER- NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS:
Hello again fellow promoters.
Hope everyone is doing well. I meant to roll out this event weeks ago but I developed a bad case of “dice arm” from playing too much and had to take a break for a bit to allow the cramping to go away. Here’s a rundown of tonight’s event. All champions are listed first.:
1. Main Event for the GWF Galactic Heavyweight Championship:
Aethran Overmaster vs Encubus
2. GWF Interplanetary Championship Match:
Havoc vs Endgame
3. GWF Television Title Match:
Endgame vs Zygon
4. Four Weapons Of Destruction Match for the Heavy Metal Championship:
Paralyze vs Sly Drury
5. GWF Women’s Championship Match:
Shann-Ra vs Phantasy
6. GWF Galactic Tag Team Championship Match:
The Ultimate Fighters vs Rush & Turmoil
7. GWF Interplanetary Tag Team Championship Match:
Rush & Turmoil vs Hornet’s Nest
Special Attraction Matches:
8. Nitro vs Andre The Giant- No DQ match
9. Rarity (a
hexxstar bootleg)vs Embargo (a
Thomas (TK) bootleg) -These two traded victories a few months back. This is the rubber match
Just a reminder that both Havoc and Shann-Ra have automatic rematch clauses so if they lose their belts in the first match the rematch will take place later in the evening. Let’s get down to action:
1. GWF Interplanetary Tag Team Championship Match:Rush & Turmoil vs Hornet’s Nest -Swarm won the opening dice roll and that’s the only thing that went right for him and Mantis in this match.
-Turmoil quickly gained the advantage and softened Swarm up with two Double Table Breakers.
-Rush tagged in and continued the onslaught with a Gladiator Piledriver and a TEMPEST.
-Swarm was able to kick out but Rush followed up with an ADRENALINE RUSH and covered Swarm for the count of three.
WINNERS AND STILL CHAMPIONS: RUSH & TURMOIL (THEIR SEVENTH SUCCESSFUL TITLE DEFENSE)2. GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:HAVOC VS ENDGAME-Back and forth for the majority of the match. The turning point came when Endgame whipped Havoc into the ropes. On the bounce back the two men double-closelined each other.
- Endgame recovered first, performed an ULTIMA LEAP and covered Havoc for the victory.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: ENDGAME3. GWF WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
SHANN-RA VS PHANTASY-This one was all Shann-Ra as Phantasy never managed to land a single offensive move.
-After several L1 & L2 moves Shann-Ra connected with a MACHETE and that was all she wrote.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: SHANN-RA (HER SECOND SUCCESSFUL TITLE DEFENSE)4. FOUR WEAPONS OF DESTRUCTION MATCH FOR THE HEAVY METAL CHAMPIONSHIP:PARALYZE VS SLY DRURY -Drury had the advantage early on. He managed to grab Paralyze and rake his face across the Betelgeuse Barbed Wire. He then followed that up by ramming his head into the electric shock turnbuckle over and over again
-Drury lands a CRIME LORD but Paralyze is able to kick out.
-Paralyze eventually manages to take over. He goes for the pin after an Aethran Coup Cannon but can’t keep Drury down.
-Paralyze grabs a Lepus Stun Rod and zaps Drury with it. He follows up with the PERMANENTLY PARALYZED and this time Drury can’t kick out.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: PARALYZE ( HIS FIRST SUCCESSFUL TITLE DEFENSE)5. GWF TELEVISION TITLE MATCH:ENDGAME VS ZYGON-A short but action-packed match.
-Endgame nearly ends it on the first move of the match when Zygon attempts a sunset flip. Endgame grabs his legs and rolls him into a pinning combination which Zygon barely kicks out of.
-Endgame goes for another pin after a Michinoku Driver but Zygon kicks out again.
-Endgame throws Zygon into the ropes and attempts a back body drop but Zygon grabs him and hits him with a piledriver. Zygon manages to lock on the TRI-CLAW but Endgame is able to escape.
-Zygon goes for another pin after a knee breaker. Snake eyes is the roll and we have a new champion.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: ZYGON6. GWF GALACTIC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:THE ULTIMATE FIGHTERS VS RUSH & TURMOIL -A short match that only involved Shoot and Turmoil
-Turmoil had the early advantage and put two fatigue tokens on Shoot after two Double Table Breakers
-Shoot bails out of the ring to try to get a breather but Turmoil follows him out and a wild brawl erupts.
-Shoot is able to avoid the DQ but Turmoil isn’t as lucky
WINNERS BY DQ AND STILL CHAMPIONS: THE ULTIMATE FIGHTERS (THEIR FIRST SUCCESSFUL TITLE DEFENSE)We now go to Johnny Rocket who’s standing by with Nitro
Johnny Rocket: “Nitro, you pulled off quite the upset last month when you defeated the legendary Andre The Giant by DQ. You paid the price though when Andre splashed you through the announcers table. You had to be taken to the hospital afterwards. How bad were your injuries and are you 100% for tonight’s rematch?”
Nitro: “Thanks for asking, Johnny. Thankfully I only suffered some bruised ribs and while I’m still a bit sore I’ve got more than enough for tonight. Andre, I had you on the run last month and I know you got yourself INTENTIONALLY disqualified because I was mere moments away from pinning you. You couldn’t beat me last month and you won’t beat me tonight. I specifically requested that this match be No DQ because I don’t want there to be any excuses. I want to pin your shoulders to the mat and prove to everybody that I’m the better man. Tonight will be just like David and Goliath. The only difference is that unlike David I won’t need a weapon to slay my giant.”
7. NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH:NITRO VS ANDRE THE GIANT -Nitro put up a valiant fight and hung in there for a bit but this time he was outmatched against the big man
-Andre tried for five pin attempts early but Nitro managed to kick out each time.
-Out of frustration Andre threw Nitro out of the ring and followed him out to contInure the fight. This was nearly a fatal mistake as Nitro managed to smash Andre’s head into the announcer’s table before throwing him back into the ring.
-Back in the ring Nitro connected with two consecutive BAD VIBRATIONS and got a 2.5 count on the second one.
-Eventually Andre regained control and after a BIG SPLASH he covered Nitro for the win.
WINNER: ANDRE THE GIANT8. SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH:RARITY VS EMBARGO-Back and forth early on with each woman going for a pin: Rarity after THE PERFECT PIN and Embargo with a Censorship Cutter.
-Eventually Embargo got some consistent offense going and went for two more pin attempts after a Blockade Blast and a DOUBLE ENTENDRE.
-While Rarity kicked out each time the damage was done and after another DOUBLE ENTENDRE Rarity was down for the count.
WINNER: EMBARGO9. RE-MATCH FOR THE GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP:ENDGAME VS HAVOC-A back and forth battle the entire way. Havoc went for a pin after a Rope Hung DDT and Endgame after a Top Rope Catapult and a Northern Lights Bomb was none of the attempts were successful.
-Finally, after a Rydeen Bomb Endgame was able to put Havoc away.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: ENDGAME (HIS FIRST SUCCESSFUL TITLE DEFENSE)10. MAIN EVENT FOR THE GWF GALACTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:AETHRAN OVERMASTER VS ENCUBUS -Overmaster had the advantage early on. After an Overmaster Head Toss and some Ballistic Headbutts he throws Encubus out of the ring.
-This proves to be a mistake though as Encubus pulls him out and rams him into the turnbuckle post.
-Back in the ring Encubus superkicks Overmaster which causes him to bail out to the floor. Encubus follows him out and whacks him with a steel chair.
-Encubus throws Overmaster back into the ring and hits him with two consecutive SECOND COMING’S. Overmaster is able to kick out both times.
-Encubus doesn’t let up though and after a GAMEMASTER DDT he gets the 1-2-3.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: ENCUBUSThat concludes my final Night Of Champions for the year. For the month of December I’ll be running my first Royal Rumble with the winner receiving a Galactic Heavyweight Championship Match later on in the evening. As of tonight I’m halfway through the Rumble and hope to conclude it within the next few days.
As always a big thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to check out, like and comment on my Fed. Until next time I hope everyone has a good day.😀
