Well wrestling is full of weird and unsual tag team pairings winning gold so maybe it is just a matter of time for Endgame and Plethador to do the same.

Hope everyone is doing well. It’s time to determine who gets the first shot at the new champion, Havoc. Wrestlers were ranked based on their combined won-loss record for the entire year. Just a quick reminder of who my current champions are:

Finals: #3 Star Warrior beat #9 Nosfera
Title Shots Earned: Galactic Heavyweight: Star Warrior Interplanetary: Nosfera Television: Endgame Heavy Metal: The Betrayer
A couple of quick thoughts from me:
1. Star Warrior came out of the gate with the clear intention of getting the Galactic Championship back. We’ll see how he does in the rematch with Havoc
2. I was glad to see the legendary Thantos finally win a few matches in my fed. It still surprises me that he was a first round exit in all three of my previous tournaments
3. I recently picked up the COTG Ringside Companion and I’m excited to try out some of the specialty matches in there. At my upcoming Supercard Nosfera will defend the Heavy Metal Championship against The Betrayer in the match that intrigues me the most: The Nightmare Matrix!
I haven’t had a chance yet to roll out my latest Supercard but I should be able to get that done within the next few days at which point I will get the results posted here. Until then I hope everyone has a good day.

What stood out to me was that Mantis, who you said had been struggling in these tournaments, knocked of the #2 seed Havoc! I’ll bet no one sleeps on him again!

After Tristan’s performance in the cruiserweight tournament and Mantis beating Havoc I’m beginning to think that my cards can sense when I’m pointing out their shortcomings and using that as motivation to shut me up.

YEAR ONE-MARCH-GALACTIC CLASH SUPERCARD:
Hello again:
Hope everyone is doing well. Sorry for such a long delay in between posts but I had a busy week and didn’t have a good block of time in which to post my latest Supercard results. Here’s a rundown of tonight’s event. All champions are listed first:
1. Main Event For The Galactic Heavyweight Championship: Havoc vs Star Warrior
2. Women’s Championship Match: Shann-Ra vs Phantasy
3. Interplanetary Title Match: Sly Drury vs Nosfera
4. Television Title Match: Paralyze vs Endgame
5. Nightmare Matrix Match for the Heavy Metal Championship: Nosfera vs The Betrayer
6. Galactic Tag Team Title Match: Rush & Turmoil vs Shoot & Clinch
7. Interplanetary Tag Team Title Match: Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2 vs Brute & Massacre
8. Three Team Super Battlezone Match: Tristan, Vidtek & Swarm Vs Executioner, Comrade Terror & Zygon Vs Encubus, Ensor & Tricks
Just a reminder that both Nosfera and Shann-Ra have automatic rematch clauses should they lose their belts tonight. If a second Heavy Metal match is required it will also be in the Nightmare Matrix.
Lets get down to action:
1. NIGHTMARE MATRIX MATCH FOR THE HEAVY METAL CHAMPIONSHIP: NOSFERA VS THE BETRAYER
Betrayer gets off to a fast start hitting Nosfera with a cobra clutch suplex and a Black Betrayal finisher. He covers him but Nosfera is able to kick out. After Betrayer connects with a Scorpion Deathlock the Nightmare Matrix kicks in with the first illusion of the match.
Nosfera hallucinates that the naked old lady from “The Shining” is walking towards him cackling like a banshee. While Nosfera is over in the corner vomiting up his lunch The Betrayer comes up and hits him with another Black Betrayal and covers Nosfera for the one-two-three.
WINNER & NEW CHAMPION: THE BETRAYER
2. WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: SHANN-RA VS PHANTASY (Please be aware that this will be a long entry. This is quite possibly the Match Of The Year in my Fed and I want to give it the respect it deserves by laying the drama of the match out in full.)
The two women exchange level one and two moves early on but finally Shann-Ra is able to gain some momentum. She whips Phantasy into the turnbuckle but Phantasy is able to counter with a charging clothesline out of the corner. She hits Shann-Ra with a Super Phantasy-Plex and goes for the cover but Shann-Ra is able to kick out.
Phantasy picks Shann-Ra up and hits her with another Phantasy-Plex and a Cradle Suplex before whipping her into the ropes. Shann-Ra is able to counter with a flying shoulder tackle. She follows up by hitting Phantasy with a snap snare, a swinging neck breaker and two Huntress Claws. She tries to pin Phantasy but she is able to kick out. The two women exchange a few more moves until Shann-Ra is able to land another snap snare. She goes for another pin but Phantasy kicks out again.
Shann-Ra follows up with another snap snare, a waist lock suplex and finally a Machete finisher. She covers Phantasy but again Phantasy kicks out. Shann-Ra picks her up and connects with another waistlock suplex and attempts a half-crab but Phantasy is able to counter it. Phantasy hits Shann-Ra with two running back elbows and a Five Star Frog Splash before throwing her out of the ring and following her out. The two women have a brawl at ringside which Shann-Ra wins.
When they get back in the ring they exchange moves for a bit but finally Phantasy gains some momentum and is able to connect with a Sweet Suicide Finisher. She goes for the cover but Shann-Ra kicks out. Phantasy keeps hitting Shann-Ra with multiple level two and three moves but all she can do is hurt her and she can’t keep her down. She whips Shann-Ra into the ropes and attempts a sunset flip but Shann-Ra grabs her legs into a pinning combination. Phantasy is able to kick out though.
Shann-Ra blasts Phantasy with a top rope clothesline and throws her out of the ring. Phantasy grabs Shann-Ra, drags her outside and drives her through the announcers table with a Phantasy Fallaway Drop. She avoids the DQthrows Shann-Ra back into the ring and connects with another Sweet Suicide Finisher. She goes for the pin but Shann-Ra kicks out again. Phantasy throws Shann-Ra out of the ring again and follows her out. She picks up a chair and hits Shann-Ra with it but unfortunately this time the ref calls for the DQ.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: SHANN-RA
3. INTERPLANETARY TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: HECTOR THE HOLY BROWN BEAR & THANTOS 2 vs BRUTE & MASSACRE:
Brute starts off against Hector and after a few level one and two moves he strikes Hector with a Gladiator Piledriver and goes for the pin but Hector kicks out. Brute tags in Massacre. Massacre hits Hector with a top rope clothesline and is able to land two consecutive Decapitator finishers but Hector is able to kick out of both ensuing pinball attempts.
After a few more level one moves Massacre hits Hector with a top rope clothesline and tags Brute back in. Brute puts Hector in multiple bear hugs but can’t keep him down for a pin attempt. When Brute attempts a headbutt Hector counters and tags in Thantos 2.
Thantos hits Brute with a Gamemaster DDT and follows up with a Masterlock finisher. He covers Brute but he’s able to kick out. Thantos follows up with another Gamemaster DDT and covers Brute again. This time Brute is down for the count.
WINNERS AND STILL CHAMPIONS: HECTOR THE HOLY BROWN BEAR & THANTOS 2
4. HEAVY METAL CHAMPIONSHIP RE-MATCH IN THE NIGHTMARE MATRIX: THE BETRAYER VS NOSFERA
The two wrestlers exchange blows early on and eventually The Matrix kicks in. Both wrestlers get plunged into total darkness but Betrayer is able to recover first. Betrayer attempts a One Leg Boston Crab but Nosfera is able to counter it. Nosfera hits Betrayer with a spinning elbow to the face and follows up with a Demon’s Breath finisher. He covers Betrayer but he’s able to kick out.
The Matrix kicks in again and Betrayer momentarily feels completely paralyzed. When he recovers he hallucinates that a group of Zombie Girl Scouts are approaching him asking him to buy some cookies. When he tells them no the Girl Scouts attack him and try to eat his brains.
While Betrayer is fighting off the imaginary children Nosfera hits him with a low blow. However, The Matrix starts up again and this time Nosfera is affected. He visualizes thousands of spiders crawling all over him. As he tries to brush them off the Betrayer comes up behind him and connects with a cobra clutch suplex.
Nosfera is able to quickly get back on offense and after a leg trip he hits Betrayer with two Spring Heel Kick finishers but Betrayer is able to kick out of both pinball attempts. The Nightmare Matrix produces another illusion and this time Betrayer feels completely paralyzed yet again. Nosfera is able to take advantage of this by finishing off Betrayer with a third Spring Heel Kick to regain the Heavy Metal Championship.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: NOSFERA
5. TELEVISION TITLE MATCH: PARALYZE VS ENDGAME
Endgame goes on offense first. After a Shining Wizard and a Ryder Bomb he tries to pin Paralyze but Paralyze kicks out. As Paralyze stumbles to his feet Endgame comes off the top rope with a cross bodyblock and goes for another pin but Paralyze kicks out again.
After a top rope clothesline and a Michinoku Driver Endgame throws Paralyze out of the ring. When he follows him out there Paralyze grabs him and drives him through the announcers table with a Torture Drop. Paralyze avoids the DQ and throws Endgame back into the ring. He hits Endgme with two Permanently Paralyzed finishers, a Brute Force and tries for the pinfall after all 3 moves but Endgame is able to kick out each time. Finally Paralyze strikes with another Permanently Paralyzed and this time Endgame stays down.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: PARALYZE
6. GALACTIC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: RUSH & TURMOIL VS SHOOT & CLINCH
Turmoil starts off against Shoot and has the early advantage until he throws him out of the ring. Shoot drags him out and smashes him into the ring post. He throws Turmoil back into the ring and locks him into a Tapped Out finisher but Turmoil is able to escape. Shoot throws Turmoil out of the ring but this time Turmoil drags Shoot out and smashes him into the post. He throws Shoot back into the ring and tags in Rush.
Rush hits Shoot with an Aethran Coup Cannon an$ throws him into the turnbuckle but when he charges after him Shoot moves and Rush goes crashing outside the ring. While Rush crawls back in Shoot tags in Clinch.
Clinch connects with a left hook and a Superman Punch but when he goes for a headbutt Rush counters it. Rush’s advantage is short-lived though as Clinch is able to counter a Spike DDT. He throws Rush into the turnbuckle and follows up with a running clothesline. He connects with a Knocked Out finisher but Rush is able to kick out. Clinch tags Shoot back in and Shoot promptly locks Rush into a Tapped Out. Rush submits and we have new champions.
WINNERS AND NEW CHAMPIONS: SHOOT & CLINCH
7. THREE TEAM SUPER BATTLEZONE MATCH: TRISTAN, VIDTEK & SWARM VS EXECUTIONER, COMRADE TERROR & ZYGON VS ENCUBUS, ENSOR & TRICKS
a. Vidtek pins Ensor after a Big Time finisher (Team Encubus is down to 2 members) b. Comrade Terror pins Vidtek after an Atomic Warhead (Team Tristan down to 2) c. Comrade Terror pins Encubus after an Atomic Warhead ( Team Encubus down to 1) d. Swarm eliminates Comrade Terror when Terror is DQ’d during a ringside brawl ( Terror’s Team down to 2) e. Swarm and Tricks are both DQ’d for brawling at ringside (Team Encubus is eliminated, Tristan’s team down to 1 member) f. Zygon pins Tristan after a Tri-Claw finisher.
SURVIVORS: ZYGON & EXECUTIONER (Who didn’t even tag into the match)
8. INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: SLY DRURY VS NOSFERA
Despite wrestling in his third match of the evening Nosfera was able to make short work of Drury. After connecting with a Pandemonium and a Spring Heel Kick he pins Drury and adds the IP Title to his belt collection.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: NOSFERA
9. MAIN EVENT FOR THE GALACTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: HAVOC VS STAR WARRIOR
A back and forth match early on with too many level one and two counters to list here but finally Star Warrior got some momentum going. He whips Havoc into the turnbuckle and tries a running clothesline. Havoc moves and Star Warrior crashes into the corner and goes down. Havoc covers him and Star Warrior can’t kick out. Oddly enough this is the EXACT same sequence that ended their match last month.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: HAVOC
Overall this was a fun event to roll out. I especially enjoyed my first experiments with the Nightmare Matrix and the BATTLEZONE Match.
I have to admit that while the Women’s Championship Match is without a doubt the best match I’ve played so far I was REALLY ticked off with the way the match ended: I nearly threw my dice across the room in frustration. Phantasy’s DQ rating is a 3 which means there’s only two possible dice roll combinations that could possibly end the match and snake eyes came up on the roll.
When the match ended Phantasy had 4 fatigue tokens and Shann-Ra had 3 and I would have loved to seen how much longer those two could have kept kicking out of each other’s pin attempts. Needless to say I’ll be rooting for Phantasy to win my next woman’s tournament and get another crack at the championship. If the rematch happens I will make it no-disqualification.
I hope you enjoyed Galactic Clash. I’ll try to get my April tournament results posted within the next few days. I hope everyone has a good day.

Nosfera was a busy boy. I have had meals that lasted longer than The Betrayers title reign. Impressive win by Hector and Thantos II against tag team legends. Good stuff as always.

I appreciate it. Yeah, bad luck for The Betrayer that Nosfera had that rematch clause. While Hector and Thantos 2 haven’t done much in the singles division so far they’ve been impressive as a tag team.

YEAR ONE-APRIL-GALACTIC CONTENDERS TOURNAMENT:
Hello again. Hope everyone is doing well. While this is normally the last monthly tournament I post results for due to time constraints I have a nice block of time this afternoon so I figured I should take advantage of it. As always wrestlers were ranked based on their combined won-loss record for the year. Just a reminder of who my current champions are:
Galactic Heavyweight: Havoc Interplanetary: Nosfera Television: Paralyze Heavy Metal: Nosfera
Let’s get down to action:
QUALIFYING ROUND: #66 Plethador beat #63 Scimitar #64 Massif beat #65 Ghenghis Khan
FIRST ROUND: #1 Star Warrior beat #66 Plethador #64 Massif beat #2 Shoot by DQ #3 Nosfera beat #62 Vanity #4 Havoc beat #61 Bloodline #5 Endgame beat #60 Proteus #6 Paralyze beat #59 Beast Rider #58 Mutant beat #7 Tristan #8 Swarm beat #57 Pit Viper #56 Anivar beat #9 Sly Drury by DQ #55 Omega beat #10 The Betrayer #54 Tanck beat #11 Vidtek #12 Tricks beat #53 Hector The Holy Brown Bear #13 Comrade Terror beat #52 Death Knight #51 Thraxx beat #14 Massacre #50 Bishop Hell beat #15 Executioner #16 Encubus beat #49 Tauran #48 Thantos 2 beat #17 Killer Queen #18 Zygon beat #47 Symbiosis #19 Coven Black beat #46 Commander Sam #20 Gryt beat #45 Pulsar #21 Paganax beat #44 Retribution #43 Payback beat #22 Ensor by countout #23 Wolf beat #42 Lord Nexus #24 Actagon beat #41 Oracle #25 Renegade beat #40 Brute #39 Mantis beat #26 Aethran Overmaster by DQ #38 Turmoil beat #27 Malkuth #37 Exo-King beat #28 Thantos #29 Invincible Krakan beat #36 American Guy by DQ #30 Rush beat #35 Clinch #34 Patch beat #31 U.S. Male #33 Panther Warrior beat #32 Nitro
Second Round: #1 Star Warrior beat #64 Massif #3 Nosfera beat #58 Mutant by DQ #56 Anivar beat #4 Havoc #5 Endgame beat #55 Omega #54 Tanck beat #6 Paralyze #8 Swarm beat #51 Thraxx #50 Bishop Hell best #12 Tricks #13 Comrade Terror beat #48 Thantos 2 #16 Encubus beat #43 Payback #18 Zygon beat #39 Mantis #19 Coven Black beat #38 Turmoil #37 Exo-King beat #20 Gryt #21 Paganax beat #34 Patch by DQ #23 Wolf beat #33 Panther Warrior #24 Actagon beat #30 Rush #29 Invincible Krakan beat #25 Renegade
Third Round: #1 Star Warrior beat #56 Anivar #54 Tanck beat #3 Nosfera #5 Endgame beat #50 Bishop Hell #8 Swarm beat #37 Exo-King #13 Comrade Terror beat #29 Invincible Krakan #24 Actagon beat #16 Encubus #18 Zygon beat #23 Wolf #19 Coven Black beat #21 Paganax
Quarterfinals: #1 Star Warrior beat #54 Tanck #5 Endgame beat #24 Actagon #8 Swarm beat #19 Coven Black #13 Comrade Terror beat #18 Zygon
Semifinals: #1 Star Warrior beat #13 Comrade Terror #8 Swarm beat #5 Endgame
Third Place Match: #13 Comrade Terror beat #5 Endgame by DQ
Finals: #8 Swarm beat #1 Star Warrior
Title Shots Earned: Galactic Heavyweight: Swarm Interplanetary: Star Warrior Television: Comrade Terror Heavy Metal: Endgame
Swarm joins Star Warrior as wrestlers to win multiple tournaments. I have to admit I was rooting for Star Warrior as I was hoping for him and Havoc to have a third consecutive title match. However, Swarm won the tournament fair and square and I have to respect that result. At least Star Warrior still has a chance to get some gold back around his waist when he faces Nosfera for the IP belt.
I was glad to see Comrade Terror earn a TV Title match. Besides Star Warrior The Executioner had been the only other wrestler from the 2087 set to earn a singles title shot up to this point.
Since reaching the finals in my initial tournament Sly Drury has been a first round exit in all four subsequent tournaments losing to Encubus, American Guy, Commander Sam and Anivar respectively. We’ll see if he can snap out of that funk next month.
That’s all for now. I’ll get more tournament results posted within the next few days. Have a good day.

YEAR ONE-APRIL-TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT:
Hello again:
Hope everyone is doing well. Time for this month’s tag team event. Just a reminder that my current Galactic Tag Team Champions are Clinch & Shoot and the Interplanetary Belts are held by Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2. As always teams were ranked based on their combined win-loss record for the year. For any new followers to my fed I re-seed wrestlers after each round so that the highest ranked participant left faces the lowest ranked left, second highest faces second lowest, so on and so forth. Let’s get down to action:
Qualifying Round: #32 Ghenghis Khan & Invincible Krakan beat #33 Vanity & Mutant
First Round: #1 Rush & Turmoil beat #32 Ghenghis Khan & Invincible Krakan #2 American Guy & U.S. Male beat #31 Exo-King & Killer Queen #3 Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2 beat #30 Renegade & Beast Rider #4 Brute & Massacre beat #29 Death Knight & Pit Viper #5 Anivar & Tauran beat #28 Swarm & Mantis by countout #6 Endgame & Plethador beat #27 Tank & Scimitar #7 Shoot & Clinch beat #26 Ensor & Retribution #8 Tricks & Oracle beat #25 Thraxx & Zygon by countout #24 Sly Drury & Paganax beat #9 Havoc & Payback #10 Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze beat #23 Tristan & Nitro #11 Lord Nexus & Pulsar beat #22 Massif & Commander Sam #21 Thantos & Bishop Hell beat #12 Star Warrior & Omega #20 Comrade Terror & Executioner beat #13 Wolf & Vidtek #14 Patch & Symbiosis beat #19 Gryt & The Betrayer #18 Actagon & Proteus beat #15 Bloodline & Encubus #17 Coven Black & Nosfera beat #16 Malkuth & Panther Warrior
Second Round: #1 Rush & Turmoil beat #24 Sly Drury & Paganax by DQ #21 Thantos & Bishop Hell beat #2 American Guy & U.S.Male #3 Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2 beat #20 Comrade Terror & Executioner #4 Brute & Massacre beat #18 Actagon & Proteus #5 Anivar & Tauran beat #17 Coven Black & Nosfera #6 Endgame & Plethador beat #14 Patch & Symbiosis #11 Lord Nexus & Pulsar beat #7 Shoot & Clinch #10 Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze beat #8 Tricks & Oracle
Quarterfinals: #1 Rush & Turmoil beat #21 Thantos & Bishop Hell #11 Lord Nexus & Pulsar beat #3 Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2 #4 Brute & Massacre beat #10 Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze #5 Anivar & Tauran beat #6 Endgame & Plethador
Semifinals: #1 Rush & Turmoil beat #11 Lord Nexus & Pulsar #5 Anivar & Tauran beat #4 Brute & Massacre
Finals: #5 Anivar & Tauran beat #1 Rush & Turmoil
Title Shots Earned: Galactic Tag Team: Anivar & Tauran Interplanetary Tag Team: Rush & Turmoil
Rush & Turmoil fall just short of getting a re-match against The Ultimate Fighters and they’ll have to settle for a shot at the IP Belts. Nice to see Anivar and Tauran finally break through. Up until now they’ve been that team that does well in the tournaments but just can’t quite take that final step to get a title shot.
I should be able to get my Cruiserweight and Women’s tournament results posted tomorrow as they are the least time consuming to type out. Until then I hope everyone has a good day.

YEAR ONE-APRIL- CRUISERWEIGHT TOURNAMENT:
Hello again. Here we go with the cruiserweights. Just a reminder that Tristan is the current champion. As always wrestlers were ranked according to their combined win-loss record for the year and the top 5 seeds all receive a first round bye.
I just wanted to elaborate on how I compile my rankings in case anyone was wondering. I assign two points to a wrestler for a win by pin or submission and one point for a win by DQ/Countout. When multiple wrestlers are tied in points I take into account the quality of wrestlers they’ve defeated; a win over Star Warrior or Havoc would count for a lot more than a win over Ghenghis Khan or Plethador. I also award Championship Bonus Points for successful title defenses. The Galactic Heavyweight and Galactic Tag Team Champions each receive 2 points for a successful defense and all other champions receive one point. This is how Sly Drury has managed to stay in my overall Top Ten despite losing in the first round in 4 out of my 5 tournaments. He won 5 matches in my first tournament and became the initial Interplanetary Champion. He made two successful title defenses so in addition to those two wins he got 2 bonus points as well.
Alright, let’s get down to action:
First Round: #6 Ensor beat #11 Mutant #10 Coven Black beat #7 Pulsar #8 Nitro beat #9 Vanity
Quarterfinals: #10 Coven Black beat #1 Tristan #8 Nitro beat #2 Mantis #3 The Betrayer beat #6 Ensor #5 Panther Warrior beat #4 U.S. Male
Semifinals: #3 The Betrayer beat #10 Coven Black #5 Panther Warrior beat #8 Nitro
Finals: #3 The Betrayer beat #5 Panther Warrior
Congratulations to The Betrayer on the win. Unfortunately for the second straight month he’ll be facing a champion with an automatic re-match clause which means he’ll have to defend his title later that night should he win. That came back to bite him in the butt last month against Nosfera but maybe he’ll have better luck this time.
