YEAR ONE-JULY-CRUISERWEIGHT TOURNAMENT:
After a few crazy weeks at work schedule-wise I finally have found time to post my last two monthly tournaments. Just a reminder that Ensor is my current Cruiserweight Champion. Let’s get down to determining the new number one contender. Wrestlers were ranked based on their combined win-loss record for the year and the top 5 seeds all received a first round bye.
First Round: #6 Panther Warrior beat #11 Mutant #7 Coven Black beat #10 Vanity #9 Pulsar beat #8 Nitro
Second Round: #9 Pulsar beat #1 The Betrayer #2 Ensor beat #7 Coven Black #3 Tristan beat #6 Panther Warrior #5 U.S. Male beat #4 Mantis
Semifinals: #2 Ensor beat #9 Pulsar #5 U.S. Male beat #3 Tristan
Finals: #2 Ensor beat #5 U.S. Male
With that victory Ensor is free from defending his championship this month AND he’s entitled to an automatic rematch when he loses the title.

YEAR ONE-JULY-WOMEN’S TOURNAMENT: Just a reminder that Shann-Ra is my current champion: First Round: #1 Shann-Ra beat #8 Deadliest Of Species #2 Mother Superior beat #7 Rotunda #6 Sultana beat #3 Strafe by DQ #5 She Devil beat #4 Phantasy Semifinals: #1 Shann-Ra beat #6 Sultana #2 Mother Superior beat #5 She Devil Finals: #1 Shann-Ra beat #2 Mother Superior Shann-Ra joins fellow champions Ensor and Star Warrior in the “free from defending” club. The three of them can sit by the pool and sip margaritas during the Night Of Champions event. In addition to the usual title contests there will also be some special attraction matches including bouts between the recent GCON bootlegs released by hexxstar and TK. I have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off from work this week so I should be able to find some time during those days to roll out the event. Until then I hope everyone has a good day.🙂

YEAR ONE-JULY-NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS:
Hello again. Hope everyone is doing well. Thank you again to everyone who’s taken the time to check out my Fed, like and comment. Here’s a rundown of tonight’s event. All champions are listed first.
CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES:
1. Main Event for the GWF Galactic Heavyweight Championship: Encubus vs Aethran Overmaster
2. GWF Interplanetary Championship Match: Aethran Overmaster vs Sly Drury
3. Sam’s Brawl Match For The GWF Heavy Metal Championship: Comrade Terror vs Nosfera
4. GWF Galactic Tag Team Title Match: The Ultimate Fighters vs The Greek Gods
5. GWF Interplanetary Tag Team Title Match: Rush & Turmoil vs Patch & Symbiosis
SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCHES:
6. Hector The Holy Brown Bear vs “The Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff
7. Frank Gotch & The Mad Jester vs George Hackenschmidt & Jack Of Diamonds
8. Halcyon vs Claymore
9. Embargo vs Rarity
Just a reminder that The Ultimate Fighters have an automatic rematch clause so if The Greek Gods win the titles we’ll have the rematch later in the evening. Since The Overmaster is guaranteed to have two matches tonight we’ll start off with him so he has a chance to rest a bit before the main event.
1. GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: AETHRAN OVERMASTER VS SLY DRURY
A pretty short match. After falling victim to a running spear and a Suplex DDT the Overmaster bailed out of the ring to try to regain control. Drury followed him out , grabbed a chair and hit The Overmaster with it. The referee was having none of that and called for the bell.
WINNER BY DQ AND STILL CHAMPION: AETHRAN OVERMASTER (HIS FIRST SUCCESSFUL TITLE DEFENSE)
2. GWF GALACTIC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: THE ULTIMATE FIGHTERS VS THE GREEK GODS
-Actagon and Shoot started off and went back and forth for a bit. Actagon went for the pin after a Cobra Clutch Suplex but Shoot kicked out.
-Eventually Clinch and Proteus tagged in with Clinch getting the better of their encounter. After a Superman Punch and an UPPERCUT KO Clinch covered Proteus for the win.
WINNERS AND STILL CHAMPIONS: THE ULTIMATE FIGHTERS (THEIR FOURTH SUCCESSFUL TITLE DEFENSE)
3. SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH: HALCYON VS CLAYMORE
-Halcyon got out to an early advantage. After an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and an Alshain slam he goes for the pin but Claymore kicks out. When Halcyon attempts a tombstone piledriver Claymore is able to counter it.
-Claymore manages to get some steady offense going himself and after an Up In The Morning, a For The Corps and a Moonsault he goes for the cover but Halcyon kicks out.
-Claymore gets very frustrated by this and throws Halcyon out of the ring three consecutive times. The third time proves to be his undoing though as he grabs a chair and whacks Halcyon over the head with it. Just like in the IP Title Match the referee doesn’t tolerate this and DQ’s Claymore.
WINNER BY DQ: HALCYON
4. SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH: HECTOR THE HOLY BROWN BEAR VS “THE RUSSIAN BEAR” IVAN KOLOFF
While Hector had his moments Koloff was in control for most of the match. After connecting with a leg drop Koloff goes for the pin but Hector kicks out. Koloff keeps the pressure on and hits Hector with his entire Level 3 arsenal. After a RUSSIAN SICKLE Koloff is able to put Hector away.
WINNER: IVAN KOLOFF
5. GWF INTERPLANETARY TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH RUSH & TURMOIL VS PATCH & SYMBIOSIS
Folks, this match was over in a grand total of TWO MOVES. After winning the opening dice roll Turmoil hits Patch with a Snap Spinebuster dazing him. Turmoil follows up with some Hardcore Headbutts and Patch lands on PIN 5(2). Snake Eyes comes up on the ensuing pin roll and just like that the match is over.
WINNERS AND STILL CHAMPIONS: RUSH & TURMOIL (THEIR THIRD SUCCESSFUL TITLE DEFENSE)
6. SAM’S BRAWL MATCH FOR THE GWF HEAVY METAL CHAMPIONSHIP: COMRADE TERROR VS NOSFERA
-Comrade Terror goes on offense first and after a few moves he throws Nosfera out of the ring. Nosfera grabs the timekeeper’s bell and goes to hit Terror with it but he ducks and Nosfera hits the referee instead knocking him out cold.
-Nosfera throws Terror back into the ring and connects with two consecutive SPRING HEEL KICKS but with no referee he can’t go for the pin. Frustrated by this he throws Comrade out of the ring and follows him out there. Terror grabs Nosfera, throws him into the crowd and then decks him over the head with a fan’s chair.
-Terror throws Nosfera back into the ring but the fight doesn’t stay there long. After being on the receiving end of a Flying Skullcrusher Nosfera bails out of the ring and returns the favour by hitting the Comrade with a chair
-Back in the ring Nosfera hits Comrade with another SPRING HEEL KICK but the referee is still knocked out and can’t make the count. Infuriated by this Nosfera throws Terror back outside the ring.
-All of a sudden at ringside a little old lady in the front row clobbers The Comrade with her loaded purse. The old woman removes her disguise to reveal Coven Black underneath. Having helped his tag team partner Black runs back to the dressing room to avoid security.
-Back in the ring Nosfera climbs to the top rope but Terror is able to recover and throws him off. Just as the referee comes back to his senses Comrade is able to connect with an ATOMIC WARHEAD but only gets a two count.
-Terror attempts a top rope attack himself which proves to be a mistake. Nosfera throws him off, follows up with THE DEMOM’S BREATH and this time the referee is there to make the three count.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: NOSFERA
7. SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH: FRANK GOTCH & THE MAD JESTER VS GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT & JACK OF DIAMONDS
-Gotch and Hackenschmidt start off and go back and forth for a bit with neither man able to get much going. The Jester tags in and proceeds to lay a beatdown on Hack. The Jester goes for three pin attempts after a flying elbow, a moonsault and after hitting George with some brass knuckles but George is able to kick out all three times.
-Eventually Jack Of Diamonds tags in but he doesn’t fare much better. He does manage to get some offense in on Gotch but eventually Gotch takes over. Gotch gradually wears Diamonds down, locks on the GOTCH TOEHOLD and Jack taps out. As the referee raises their hands in victory The Jester starts laughing like a madman. Gotch looks over at his partner with a puzzled, somewhat frightened look on his face.🤨
WINNERS: FRANK GOTCH AND THE MAD JESTER
8. SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH: EMBARGO VS RARITY
-The best match of the evening as these two women put on a clinic that could have gone either way. While Embargo managed to put two fatigue tokens on Rarity and kept knocking her down with multiple Level 3 moves she couldn’t quite finish the job.
-Unfortunately for Embargo Rarity kept rolling her Perfect Submission which kept adding more power to her finisher rating. Finally Rarity was able to roll THE PERFECT PIN and get the victory
WINNER: RARITY
9. MAIN EVENT FOR THE GWF GALACTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: ENCUBUS VS AETHRAN OVERMASTER
-Back and forth early on. The turning point comes when Encubus throws Overmaster into the ropes and follows up with a Satanic Skull Smasher which knocks The Overmaster down. Encubus starts to connect with his various finishing moves and after a SECOND COMING and two MAFFEI MASTERLOCKS The Overmaster submits.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: ENCUBUS (HIS SECOND TITLE DEFENSE)
A few quick thoughts from me:
1. I will definitely have to schedule a rematch between Embargo and Rarity as that match could have gone either way. Some bad dice luck is what did Embargo in as she was close to putting Rarity away.
2. I sat in stunned silence for a few seconds after the IP Tag Team Title match as I couldn’t believe it ended that quickly. This is officially the shortest match I’ve had: I’ve had some fights end in four or five moves but never two.
3. Encubus got a bit lucky by being able to avoid The Aethran Overmaster’s “Add 1” moves. The Overmaster did land one but once Encubus was able to get on Level 3 Offense he had the match in his control.
4. I was happy to see four out of the five champions retain with Nosfera preventing a clean sweep (Those darn vampires). If you include the three champions who were free from defending this month that’s a success rate of 7 out of 8
That’s everything from me for now. I hope you enjoyed this month’s Night Of Champions. Until next time I hope everyone has a good day.

Great show. Gotch and Mad Jester is quite the odd couple. Look forward to their sitcom. Bear on Bear violence will get PETA's attention. It is funny how the dice can make a match end very quickly...or go on forever. Keep up the good work.

It is funny how the dice can make a match end very quickly...or go on forever. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the kind words. I was looking for someone straight laced to team up with Jester and you can't much more straight laced than Frank Gotch. Despite being polar opposites the two of them worked quite well together. A sitcom starring the two would be quite amusing. I can see it now: Gotch getting fed up with Jester leaving his limericks lying around all over the place. Not to mention seeing Gotch's frustrated reactions to the Jester's constant identity crises. My goodness, this stuff practically writes itself. Thanks again for following the action.😀

Yes, I'm sure PETA will be knocking down my door when they find out about the Battle of the Bears. You could say that they'll bear-ly be able to contain their anger.😁 Sorry, I couldn't resist on that one.

YEAR ONE-AUGUST-WOMEN’S TOURNAMENT:
Hello again fellow promoters:
Hope everyone is doing well. Let’s kick off this month’s tournament action with the ladies. As always the competitors are ranked based on their combined win-loss record for the year. Just a reminder that Shann-Ra is my current champion. Let’s get down to action:
First Round: #1 Shann-Ra beat #8 Deadliest Of The Species #7 Rotunda beat #2 Mother Superior #3 Strafe beat #6 Sultana #5 She Devil beat #4 Phantasy
Semifinals: #1 Shann-Ra beat #7 Rotunda #5 She Devil beat #3 Strafe
Finals: #1 Shann-Ra beat #5 She Devil
Shann-Ra wins for the second month in a row and the fifth time overall this year. This means she’s free from defending her title for the month and she adds another automatic rematch on top of the one she earned last month. I just rolled out my tournament for the month of September the other day. While I won’t spoil who won I will tell you that it wasn’t Shann-Ra so she will definitely be defending her title next month.
Shann-Ra had better enjoy the lack of competitors in this division for the time being because my women’s division will likely be tripling in size for Year Two. At that point I hope to add in a Women’s Tag Team Championship as well.

YEAR ONE-AUGUST-TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT:
It’s time for some tag team action. As always teams were ranked based on their combined win-loss record for the year. My current Galactic Tag Team Champions are The Ultimate Fighters and The Interplanetary belts are held by Rush & Turmoil. On a side note I just learned the other day that the Bishop Hell in the 2125 Set is not the original one but an imposter. I will start now start referring to him as Bishop Hell 2 as I plan on bringing in the original one in Year Two.
Qualifying Round: #33 Vanity & Mutant beat #32 Death Knight & Pit Viper
First Round: #1 Rush & Turmoil beat #33 Vanity & Mutant #2 Shoot & Clinch beat #31 Tanck & Scimitar #3 Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2 beat #30 Exo-King & Killer Queen #29 Commander Sam & Massif beat #4 Brute & Massacre #5 American Guy & U.S. Male beat #28 Ensor & Retribution #6 Tauran & Anivar beat #27 Beast Rider & Renegade #7 Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze beat #26 Panther Warrior & Malkuth #25 Tristan & Nitro beat #8 Endgame & Plethador #24 Invincible Krakan & Ghenghis Khan beat #9 Lord Nexus & Pulsar #10 Tricks & Oracle beat #23 Gryt & The Betrayer #22 Thraxx & Zygon beat #11 Havoc & Payback #21 Coven Black & Nosfera beat #12 Thantos & Bishop Hell 2 #13 Encubus & Bloodline beat #20 Comrade Terror & Executioner #14 Wolf & Vidtek beat #19 Star Warrior & Omega #15 Actagon & Proteus beat #18 Patch & Symbiosis #17 Swarm & Mantis beat #16 Sly Drury & Paganax
Second Round: #1 Rush & Turmoil beat #29 Commander Sam & Massif #25 Tristan & Nitro beat #2 Shoot & Clinch #3 Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2 beat #24 Invincible Krakan & Ghenghis Khan #5 American Guy & U.S. Male beat #22 Thraxx & Zygon #6 Tauran & Anivar beat #21 Coven Black & Nosfera #7 Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze beat #17 Swarm & Mantis #10 Tricks & Oracle beat #15 Actagon & Proteus #14 Wolf & Vidtek beat #13 Encubus & Bloodline
Quarterfinals: #1 Rush & Turmoil beat #25 Tristan & Nitro #3 Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2 beat #14 Wolf & Vidtek #5 American Guy & U.s. Male beat #10 Tricks & Oracle by DQ #7 Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze beat #6 Tauran & Anivar
Semifinals: #7 Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze beat #1 Rush & Turmoil #5 American Guy & U.S. Male beat #3 Hector The Holy Brown Bear & Thantos 2
Finals: #7 Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze beat #5 American Guy & U.S. Male by DQ
Title Shots Earned: Galactic Tag Team Championship: Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze Interplanetary Tag Team Championship: American Guy & U.S. Male
The Twin Towers Of Destruction weren’t messing around this month; I’m sure the Overmaster would like a nice tag team belt to go along with his Interplanetary Championship.
Galactic Contenders and Cruiserweight tournament results coming soon. Until then I hope everyone has a good day.
