I am going to try and make it but with my job who knows. I booked a Team Member rate for a Hampton in Waterloo and checked flights but nothing out of the airport and on the airline, I prefer works too good. As the date gets a bit closer, I will see how things at work are going and maybe dig deeper and see if I can make it happen.

Wrestlefest all over again...
I have nothing against the TNT HALL OF FAME, I've supported it greatly in the last couple years (second only to Grant) - but this is not Galacticon. It's going to be the Hall of Fame weekend with a few tournaments very sporadically thrown in here and there.
I'm looking forward to Jamestown in 2024 though...

There is truly tons of down time during the weekend. Friday there is one panel usually in the morning and then a whole lot of nothing until the IPW show that night. Saturday there isn’t a lot in the morning followed by a signing period, and then the banquet that evening. There is a ton of down time. Heck, my wife and I usually bow out around 11 or 12 on Friday and shop around Waterloo and Cedar Falls. The other difference is on Friday, Tournament Master isn’t booking the show: Troy Peterson and Chad Olson are.

This is not a knee-jerk reaction, we've all pretty much known this was the plan since Chicago. The Hall weekend is full, I've listened to Tim, Chad and Cory talk about it for years. The down time you speak of is food, bar and sleep.
The absence of Tom and Rob, COTG seems dead and it's all about LOW. Speaking of which, is Tom still the owner of FG or just a figure head for Melesky Games.
I've said my piece, as unpopular as it may be, but I truly hope you all have fun.
Come on 2024 and Jamestown, for one last hurrah!

I had planned to go to both in 2023 and this would have made that easy. Unfortunately, the National Puppetry Conference is that exact week in Maryland and they are paying me to fly out and host the event. Bummed to miss out, probably virtually as well, but work is work. Will try again in 2024

It's still about eight months off, I for one am excited.

I will probably be arriving later than others on Thursday due to it being the final day of Summer Learning at my job, which is going to pay for the stuff that I am going to bid on at the auction. Maybe that means KB and Pete Beck will have to drive prices up without you unless you have a proxy ;-)
