American Showdown Wrestling #13 BRAZIL vs. ROGERS
FANTASTICS (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) def. Randy & Bill Mulkey via pinfall when Fulton pinned Bill <deathjump> after a diving fist drop from the top rope. -- Tokens: BMulkey 1 -- The Mulkeys jumped the Fantastics before Gary Michael Cappetta was able to complete the introductions! <Randy started on Level 2 Offense.> -- The Mulkeys offered some token resistance and even managed a legal tag before the Fantastics really went to work in this virtually one-sided affair.
ANGELO MOSCA def. S.D. Jones via submission <outside interference counter> with a SLEEPER. -- Tokens: Jones 1 -- Gordon Solie conducted a prematch interview with Angelo Mosca. Eager to get things rolling, Jones charged at Mosca and knocked him down with chop block to the back of the knees! <Mosca started on Level 3 Defense.> -- Unable to watch the blatant brutality of Mosca any longer, Yukon Eric rushed the ring to get involved. Jones stepped directly into the line of fire and Eric accidentally nailed him with a clothesline. While Eric was distraught over his mistake, Mosca took him out with an elbow smash and then finished Jones with ease.
-- Ringside with Commissioner Teddy Long -- The commissioner was joined by the Fantastics, who emerged victorious in their debut at the top of the card. Long indicated that their cooperative skills were very impressive and they deserved to be recognized for their efforts. The conversation was interrupted by the U.S. Express, who had plenty of good things to say about the Fantastics. However, they felt that their recent hot streak should not be overlooked. As a result, Long decided that the two teams will face each other on the next card with the winners receiving a shot at the LWGP World Tag Team Championship!
THE DESTROYER def. Bob Roop via pinfall after an airplane spin. -- Tokens: Destroyer 1 - Roop 2 -- Both men narrowly avoided disqualification as this competitive encounter transformed into an angry exchange.
ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER def. The Crusher in a No Holds Barred match. Abdullah pinned Crusher after a SUDANESE MEAT CLEAVER. -- Tokens: Abdullah 4 - Crusher 3 -- Gordon Solie conducted a prematch interview with The Crusher. He spoke with passion and was clearly fired up for this encounter. <Crusher started on Level 2 Offense.> -- The animosity between these two men has been ongoing for quite awhile and only became worse when their previous match ended in a double disqualification. Crusher relied on hard hitting offense to maintain the upper hand until Abdullah brought a carving fork into play, blowing off this feud in violent fashion.
VALIANT BROTHERS (Johnny & Jimmy Valiant) def. Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal w/ Paul Ellering) to win the LWGP World Tag Team Championship. Johnny V pinned Animal after teaming with Jimmy V for a SUPER ELBOW. -- Tokens: Animal 2 -- The Valiants jumped the Road Warriors before Gary Michael Cappetta was able to complete the introductions! <Johnny V started on Level 2 Offense.> -- A prematch ambush left the champions in complete disarray, allowing the Valiants to steal the title belts under highly controversial circumstances. Ellering protested as the fans voiced their disbelief, but the referee said there were no reasonable grounds to reverse the decision.
BOBO BRAZIL def. Buddy Rogers via pinfall <snake eyes> after a COCO BUTT. -- Tokens: Brazil 1 - Rogers 7 -- Following a slow start, Brazil unleashed a furious assault that had Rogers trying to find a place to hide. Rogers was a bloody mess by the conclusion of this grudge match. Not even surprise interference by the Valiant Brothers was able to help his cause. -- The newly crowned LWGP World Tag Team Champions tried to attack Brazil after the bell. The Road Warriors were still seething following their earlier loss to the Valiants and they rushed the ring to make the save. Pandemonium erupted as Brazil and the Road Warrior cleaned house! To send a clear message, Brazil grabbed Rogers in a bear hug while Animal delivered repeated chairshots until Paul Ellering finally convinced them that enough damage had been done. <Rogers injured for 6 cards. Brazil suspended for 2 cards. Animal suspended for 6 cards.>

Bobo goes wild in the main event. He was evidently not a happy camper... And the Roadies were even angrier, as witnessed by the post-match mayhem... That suspension puts Animal on the sidelines for a bit and it might be some time before we see the former champs getting a rematch for the belts. Always appreciate the continued interest, my friend... Many thanks!

Vader ran into some trouble with a certain Eighth Wonder of the World during the M.o.M. Battle Royal and as the promoter, I felt the need to make a match that would put him over like a stampeding mastodon... What's that line again? "Pin me, pay me." Snow is here to get the JOB done. HA!
