Looking forward to reading it then. I would have posted it earlier, but ProBoards appeared to be having some kinda technical difficulties... Just in the middle of rolling out a card online, but I will post the results for this card once I'm done... Won't be long!

American Showdown Wrestling #4 MONSTERS of MEN
GLAMOUR GIRLS (Judy Martin & Leilani Kai w/ Jimmy Hart) def. Joyce Grable & Susan Green via pinfall when Kai pinned Green after a RUNNING SPLASH. -- Gordon Solie conducted a prematch interview with Joyce Grable & Susan Green. The Glamour Girls charged at their opponents, hitting each of them with a double clothesline before tossing Green into the ring. Hart yelled at the referee to begin the match. <Green started on Level 3 Defense.> -- The Glamour Girls made short work of Green, ending the match before Grable even reached the apron.
-- Ringside with Commissioner Teddy Long -- The commissioner was joined by the reigning LWGP United Open Champion, Jack Brisco. They were interrupted by Bobby Heenan and Nick Bockwinkel, leading to a heated verbal exchange. This was only a distraction, setting up a sneak attack by the Blond Bombers, Ray Stevens & Pat Patterson! They dropped Brisco with a double team combination and then stepped back as Bockwinkel locked in a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. The beatdown continued until Jerry Brisco & Thunderbolt Patterson arrived to make the save! <Jack Brisco injured for 2 cards.>
KONNAN def. Brian Blair via pinfall after a NIAGARA DRIVER. -- Tokens: Blair 1 -- Blair managed very little offense during this brief encounter.
DYNAMITE KID (w/ Davey Boy Smith) def. Warlord (w/ Barbarian) via pinfall after a DIVING HEAD BUTT. -- Tokens: Kid 3 - Warlord 4 -- Gordon Solie conducted a prematch interview with Warlord and his tag team partner, Barbarian. They spoke with passion and Warlord was clearly fired up for this encounter. <Warlord started on Level 2 Offense.> -- The rivalry between these two men and their respective partners continued to escalate. Although he was still nursing an injury, Barbarian tried to interfere, but Smith took him out!
VALIANT BROTHERS (Johnny & Jimmy Valiant) def. Brickhouse Brown & Sam Houston via pinfall when Jimmy pinned Brown after teaming with Johnny for a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE. -- Tokens: JimmyV 1 - Brown 4, Houston 2 -- This was a much needed win for the Valiants, who did not want to drop a second match in a row to their new rivals. Relentless double team tactics allowed them to even the score in decisive fashion.
MARK HENRY won a $50,000 'Monsters of Men' Battle Royal! -- Order of elimination: 1. Killer Kowalski (3 tokens) by Terry Gordy. -- A potent double team by the Miracle Violence Connection resulted in the first elimination. 2. Ivan Koloff (2 tokens) by Don Leo Jonathan. 3. Big John Studd (2 tokens) by Blackjack Mulligan. 4. Big Van Vader (5 tokens) by Andre the Giant. 5. Don Leo Jonathan (2 tokens) by Abdullah the Butcher. 6. Gorilla Monsoon (3 tokens) by Terry Gordy. -- Even though he had already been eliminated, Kowalski remained at ringside and tried to drag Steve Williams out to the floor. Gordy dumped Monsoon right on top of him and security escorted both men away. * 7. Stan Hansen (3 tokens) by Bruiser Brody. 8. Ox Baker (4 tokens) by Blackjack Mulligan. 9. Steve Williams (4 tokens) by King Kong Bundy. 10. Yukon Eric (2 tokens) by Angelo Mosca. 11. Angelo Mosca (n/a tokens) by The Crusher. 12. Dan Spivey (3 tokens) by Andre the Giant. -- The officials were too busy trying to break up a fight between Eric and Mosca to witness Spivey hitting the floor. He managed to slide right back into the ring without being noticed! ** 12. Blackjack Mulligan (7 tokens) by Mark Henry. 13. King Kong Bundy (1 token) by Bruiser Brody. 14. The Crusher (1 token) by Abdullah the Butcher. 15. Bruiser Brody (4 tokens) by Dan Spivey. 16. Dan Spivey (5 tokens) by Andre the Giant. -- Spivey gets tossed out by Andre for the second time, but not before he eliminated Brody! This led to a confrontation between Brody and Spivey out on the floor. Hansen returned to provide backup for Spivey, prompting Jimmy Snuka to rush the ringside area to stand with Brody! The two teams engaged in a hostile exchange until security interevened. 17. Terry Gordy (2 tokens) by Mark Henry. 18. Abdullah the Butcher (7 tokens) by Andre the Giant. 19. Andre the Giant (4 tokens) by Mark Henry (4 tokens). -- Most of the competitors that Andre had eliminated during this contest arrived to cause problems. This drew an immediate response from other competitors, leading to absolute chaos out on the floor! Henry capitalized on the confusion and nailed Andre with a low blow. When Andre stumbled, Vader pulled down the top rope to ensure the Giant went over! ***
Promoter's notes: * Monsoon was eliminated by a <snake eyes> roll, so I decided to exercise a bit of artistic licence to add a little flavor. It sets up a nice program between Miracle Violence Connection and the pairing of Monsoon & Kowalski. ** This was a legitimate oversight on my part. Spivey was tossed out by Andre, but I got busy and forgot to delete him from the list of active participants. It wasn't until he took out Brody that I realized my mistake. By this time, four other wrestlers (including Brody) had been eliminated. Instead of replaying everything, I just decided to "roll" with it! *** Andre also went out on a <snake eyes> roll to end the Battle Royal. Instead of consulting the feud chart, I just went wild with the finish. This was easily the most fun I've ever had rolling out a Battle Royal. The dice booked this thing to near perfection!

Every time I turn around you have another Legends project underway. Nothing wrong with that my friend. I'm thoroughly enjoying ASW so far and that Monsters of Men Battle Royal was awesome with a fun finish.

I'm thoroughly enjoying ASW so far and that Monsters of Men Battle Royal was awesome with a fun finish. Just trying to keep up with our brother, Bri... Gotta keep these reboots rolling. HA! Seriously though... I've tried playing Legends with a fixed roster and it just doesn't work for me... This time around - Anything goes, my friend... Hope you enjoy the American Showdown!

Jim Brunzell vs. Vampiro Predictions above. I still haven't used MVC in color yet. Can't argue with those picks, my friend. I'd have to say that MVC is one of the toughest teams in the game. Should have results posted later today. Many thanks for staying tuned!
