Do you run your loop every week? I initially did that, but it got to be a lot - even for one fed. Running 5-6 shows per week takes a lot of work. IRL it can work, but on the tabletop it can be daunting. So now I run one show per week, but I run those cities in a particular order. Then after the list of cities has been run through, I have a show from 106 N Albany St, Tampa, FL at the "Tampa Sportatorium" and that is treated as a "Super Show" to end the circuit. Next week, we start the circuit again in Tampa from the Fort Homer Hesterly Armory on N Howard St in Tampa and the next week we go to St Petersburg, West Palm, Miami, Sarasota, Jacksonville, Orlando, etc. That's always been why I haven't pulled the trigger. I'm not up to a 300 card year. I've thought about giving my fed a rival in Japan. Maybe they'll run a six day tour every month and be off the rest of the time. 72 cards a year plus special events is doable

Run 1 show a week in your territory. One week each month - or every other month - the boys go to Japan. So maybe one month you have 3 weekly shows in the territory and the Japan trip. Then the next month you have 4 weekly shows in the territory and no trip to Japan...rinse and repeat.

While I play quite differently, I think that's an interesting way to do things.

My Japan fed I do tours. It might run 4-6 weeks and 2-3 shows per week. Ppv at the end. Then Japan is off for at least a month.

That's a cool idea. How would if find a list of the cities a territory ran on their circuit?

Go to cagematch, promotions, find the one you want, click on all results and look over the list where shows were at.

I've been under the weather this past week and haven't had the chance to play--let alone even think about the game. Now that I'm better, I thought of something that I'm not sure if its been discussed before or not: How do you go about actually writing your fed results? I play a match, and then write the results of that match before playing the next match. Is that the way most people do it, or do some of you make notes as you're playing and wait until after you play all the matches to write the results?

depends how busy I am and how many matches I've played but when I write them, I try to be concise and hit a few highlights plus anything like Wrestler A dominated or Wrestler B took a beating but made a big comeback.

I tend to write up matches after I've played an entire show (or multiple shows, for that matter)... Mainly because I can write anytime, anywhere... But, I need an internet connection to play... It's easy to simply jot down a few quick notes while rolling the virtual dice and then work out the actual summaries later... And like our friend, TTX, I prefer to keep them brief... Just the facts, man!

Great question, Top Dollar! I try to do the write-up right after each match, but it depends if I'm playing with the cards and dice, online on my laptop, or online on my iPad. If the former two, I try to type them up right away, especially so I don't forget any details that might not be obvious from the moves and results, such as things that could play into a future rematch or storyline. If I'm playing on the iPad, it's usually late at night, before I fall asleep. I keep the log in COTGOnline, so I can go back and look at what moves were rolled and then build the write-up off of that.
