I like the rule as it adds an extra layer of realism to the game. When Pollux hits a move he shouldn't because I rolled a 3 it makes the match that much more exciting. The same can be said for Legends, Could Andre hit his elbow drop, there is a chance. It's a house rule, yes it more advanced than some but I like it. I remember when I had a house rule of add 1 when you failed your co on a Titan Death match. Tom liked that rule and it became standard. Could this become a standard rule? Maybe, maybe not but that what makes this game fun. You can pick and choose certain rules. Some people don't use the women vs men chart even though it's in the rules. It's a house rule, follow it or don't. But you can't say it works in one format but not another. It's literally the same game. Just my 2 cents but when Matt told me of this rule I gave it a try on multiple cards and it worked. I will continue to use it. The pw/ag rules are one of the few house rules I use that should be officialOne of my house rules that should be official is the (tag) rule. Personally, a roll of 2-6 is probably too easy, especially if it’s a down - 3 (tag). It should get harder as you go down dazed - 1 (tag): successful on roll of 2-6 hurt - 2 (tag): successful on roll of 2-5 down - 3 (tag): successful on roll of 2-4 Along with luke929, that's three ringing endorsements for what I believe to be a great (pw) (ag) rules improvement. As is the TAG rule, as it should be harder to tag the more down you are. I mean how easy would it be to tag if you're flat on your back on the mat?

I agree these are good ideas. On the pw/ag house rule. This is actually how the game rules should have been from the start. It fits with how the Choice chart works. I don't know if you can just call it official now after so many years and cards. Maybe it wouldn't be a whole lot of cards but I do think that some of the Legends cards would have gotten a different ag or pw number if this rule was in effect. It would make me think even more about the rating when doing stats as well as if they get two ability checks or three.
The defensive tag suggestions also makes sense for realism. I don't need that much realism for the game. It's wrestling. A defensive tag is part of the story of the match. If you're booking you can have that guy down a long time before making the hot tag. Dice don't always do that for you. I don't have a problem with the same 6 or less roll no matter what level defense you are one.

A hot tag chart that ties into this would be interesting. (If one doesn't already exist.)

maybe Colorful Cage Match if Blue Bar is too on the nose The only other thing I can think of to add is a chart you roll on that has stuff like the Hogan-Orndorff finish on it, Tito Santana kicking Greg Valentine in the head with the cage door, and stuff like that on it but I don't know how you'd work it into the match. Maybe if the total tokes is above a certain number and you roll on the deathjump chart? So how about an Escape the Cage chart? When the total number of tokens is ten or more and someone rolls on Deathjump, roll on this chart instead. not in this order but I think the options would have to be - Superplex back into the ring, high roll gets up first
- High risk maneuver from the top of the cage, roll hit or miss
- Orndorff-Hogan finish where both men climb out, options for each man being the winner or the match restarted
- One guy climbs out and the other guy heads for the door - The Valentine-Santana finish
- play as normal, roll pin

So I've been wanting to do a territory that runs five days a week plus a weekend show for a long time and I'm finally doing it. I figure there will always be reasons not to so I might as well take a stab at it. High Plains WrestlingHere's how I'm doing it. topdollar was interested so I'll share it with everyone. First, I plugged High Plains into Wikipedia and picked 15 towns in or near the High Plains region. I put the towns in three groups and tried not to have shows in the same state in the same week but still ended up with back to back Kansas shows. Anyway, I have my ten regular guys plus the champ and tag champs. Since I'm a benevolent promoter, I'm only making the guys wrestle four out of the five days so I have two subs per week and swap them out at the end of the week to avoid repeat matches. At the end of each week, I'm planning on switching the opponents around. The Sunday show is mostly squash matches to set up the week's live events. It takes three weeks to hit all fifteen towns so I imagine at the end of a three week cycle is when I'll rotate people out but it'll be a while before I get that far.

Now that I'm a week or so into this, here's what I learned so far - Write down the possible matches in your roster and cross them off as you do them so you don't have to read back through pages of results
- Don't think you can defend the titles on live events every week without a lot of title changes
- I will not be doing this setup more than once.
- I do like the booking challenges that come with this.

Yeah, titles change hands when you don't want them to do so. Anything where you can lose a match with a bad roll of the dice makes it a challenge.

Another thing I thought of was that it might be cool to try this with a group of promoters and everyone has their own town or towns. It's still a ton of cards but it wouldn't be on one guy to play them all and write them all up.
