I think it works better for COTG but it's a solid idea. Why is it better for just COTG? What makes you say this? How is COTG different than LOW, in game play?

The main reason is the agility and power differences tend to be greater. Most wrestlers in legends tend to congregate between + and -1 for power and agility.

TTX , shouldn't this argument make it all the more the reason to use the method ~KB~ was talking about? Since they are so close, why would those moves in Legends automatically fail just based on such a small difference between agilities and powers but have a chance to succeed in COTG where the differences, as you say, are greater? Just super confused.

The 'house rule' gives the 'weaker' statted card a CHANCE, not a sure thing but a CHANCE.
What's not to like about that?

This pw/ag house real almost reads like you’re turning all pw and ag checks into additional (ch X charts) without the choice. But the roll roll to see if the move works seems similar.

I like the rule as it adds an extra layer of realism to the game. When Pollux hits a move he shouldn't because I rolled a 3 it makes the match that much more exciting. The same can be said for Legends, Could Andre hit his elbow drop, there is a chance. It's a house rule, yes it more advanced than some but I like it. I remember when I had a house rule of add 1 when you failed your co on a Titan Death match. Tom liked that rule and it became standard. Could this become a standard rule? Maybe, maybe not but that what makes this game fun. You can pick and choose certain rules. Some people don't use the women vs men chart even though it's in the rules.
It's a house rule, follow it or don't. But you can't say it works in one format but not another. It's literally the same game. Just my 2 cents but when Matt told me of this rule I gave it a try on multiple cards and it worked. I will continue to use it.

The pw/ag rules are one of the few house rules I use that should official
One of my house rules that should be official is the (tag) rule. Personally, a roll of 2-6 is probably too easy, especially if it’s a down - 3 (tag). It should get harder as you go down
dazed - 1 (tag): successful on roll of 2-6 hurt - 2 (tag): successful on roll of 2-5 down - 3 (tag): successful on roll of 2-4

I think they are both great improvements.
