You could Dusty Finish some of those title changes if they really mess with your plans.

I went to an indie show with a friend of mine, and we could see it coming a mile away. We both started chanting "Dusty Finish!". The younger crowd looked at us like we were out of our minds. We get that same look when we "WOOO!" after every knife-edge chop!

So I've been wanting to do a territory that runs five days a week plus a weekend show for a long time and I'm finally doing it. I figure there will always be reasons not to so I might as well take a stab at it. High Plains WrestlingHere's how I'm doing it. topdollar was interested so I'll share it with everyone. First, I plugged High Plains into Wikipedia and picked 15 towns in or near the High Plains region. I put the towns in three groups and tried not to have shows in the same state in the same week but still ended up with back to back Kansas shows. Anyway, I have my ten regular guys plus the champ and tag champs. Since I'm a benevolent promoter, I'm only making the guys wrestle four out of the five days so I have two subs per week and swap them out at the end of the week to avoid repeat matches. At the end of each week, I'm planning on switching the opponents around. The Sunday show is mostly squash matches to set up the week's live events. It takes three weeks to hit all fifteen towns so I imagine at the end of a three week cycle is when I'll rotate people out but it'll be a while before I get that far. So I've come to the conclusion that this is too big of an effort. Five live weeks is possible but it doesn't work like it does in real life because no one goes to five live events every week. I don't know if 'overexpose' is the right word since we're talking cards and dice but it overexposes everyone when you use them four times a week for weeks on end. Once I do Andre vs. Gama on week 19, that's a wrap. I'll probably transition High Plains Wrestling into a TV based fed.

This is pretty nerdy but I thought I'd share it. I keep my title histories on different tabs in a spreadsheet and I have a formula to calculate the average # of defenses per champion. The belt with the highest average is therefore the most prestigious title in wrestling.

When I'm sitting in my office and I'm thinking of how I want to structure my next card or who I want to bring into the territory next, I'm always thinking "Am I the only one doing this???" So you're not alone in creating ways to add "flavor" or "color" to your fed.

Whenever my wife asks me what I'm thinking, it's usually along the lines of "Is it the right time to bring in Sputnik Monroe" or something like that.

I always have the Double Team Chart out when I'm playing but never use it. Last night I decided to make a concerted effort to use it and it was a ton of fun. Looking forward to rolling out another tag match and using it again. It added some fun twists to the match.

You should just use Sputnik and never question it.
