Rankings is another topic up for discussion. I don't exactly keep rankings. I log wins and losses and calculate a win percentage in a Google sheet. I mostly award title shots to who is on a hot streak or who is in an angle with the champ(s).

Disqualifications are my current bugaboo…what do my fellow promoters do to limit the amount of DQ results from the Out Of The Ring chart? I’m considering the following change: rolling 3x when a “face” is looking at a DQ and 2x when a “heel” is. Thoughts?

Once someone wins 3 in a row, they've earned a title shot for me. Now if I have multiple guys with 3 wins in a row, then I will do a triple threat or fatal four way match or they can just take a number and wait their turn.

So I roll multiple times to avoid having too many.

If that one also ends in a DQ, I'll schedule a special match to finish things up. Sometimes, if I don't want the match to end in DQ, I'll do the roll twice thing.

I do dq's when it will further something I want furthering. If I have no plans for the wrestlers and it's a silly dq, I just skip it.
At this point, I hope the next out of the ring has fewer disqualifications as it really has not been a thing in ages.

Yeah that would be great. Newer charts for fewer dqs, vintage allows for more (when they would call it), hardcore also should have some charts.

Number of titles also came up in conversations with Pariah. I only currently recognize two in my main fed: The LWF World Heavyweight title and the LWF World Tag Team titles. My reasoning is that the secondary titles are like second place trophies. I understand why the WWE and AEW have them but I treat my fed more like a shoot in that respect. Another concern is that if you have secondary belts, you have to devote time to building up contenders for them. I'd rather focus on just the big belts. I think the turning point regarding secondary titles for me was when I started doing the AWF and building it around Inoki WAAAAAY back in 2008. I was running a smaller fed without a secondary belt and got to like it that way. Wow, I forgot the board was around this long: filsingergames.proboards.com/thread/120/gunslinger-presents-awf?page=1

I have the one main title and then I have Tag titles. I have never been a fan of belts for the sake of belts. WWF in the Attitude era had World Title, Intercontinental, European, Tag, Divas, Hardcore. I mean to me, the Intercontinental title is redundant. You already have a World Title - which is the same thing, but just a different name. And while we're on the topic of semantic (cause I opened that door) how can someone be the "US Champion" when someone is already the "World Champion"? How can you be a champions of a territory, when there is already someone deemed to the champion of ALL the territories? So that's why I only have two titles lol
