Definitely a big win for the Outlaws in that main event... Wondering if that will propel them into a title shot against D'Lo & the WSM.
Was honestly surprised that Douglas was able to retain against Backlund... Even with all the shenanigans... Fun stuff!

Pariah -- The Outlaws will, indeed, be getting a title shot in their next match. Douglas has been a real surprise for me. Having two finishers on his card definitely helps, but he wouldn't have retained without Francine at ringside. I hated Backlund as a kid, but he's been involved in my two best matches to date, so he's going to have a prominent place in the fed going forward. It took 7 tokens for The Franchise to turn back his challenge.

Friday Night Fury -- The Cow Palace (San Francisco, Calif.) -- Feb. 3, 2023
Gordon Solie welcomes the viewers to The Cow Palace in San Francisco, Calif. for this week's edition of Friday Night Fury and highlights the card that features the Women's Championship semifinals, former Tag Team champions The British Bulldogs and The Heenan Family's King Kong Bundy. To the action ...
"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) vs Mike Jackson
The Million Dollar Man was all business, wasting no time forcing Jackson to submit to The Million Dollar Dream.
Rob Van Dam (with Bill Alfonso) vs Johnny Rodz
Van Dam was in complete control of the match until it spilled outside the ring and Rodz found his footing. Sensing that the tide was shifting, Van Dam set off a fire extinguisher in Rodz's face, blinding the Unpredictable One and earning the automatic DQ.
Bruiser Brody vs "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant (with Captain Lou Albano)
In a one-sided affair, Brody battered Valiant from pillar to post, finally putting him out of his misery with a Jumping Knee Drop.
Women's Semifinal #1 -- Sensational Sherri vs Leilani Kai (with "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart)
Once again, Kai's match was a glorified handicap match as Sherri had to fight off both her and The Mouth of the South and she was doing just that until Kai suplexed her through the announcers' table. Referee Dick Woehrle had enough and awarded the victory to Sherri.
Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (with "Classy" Freddie Blassie) vs The Brisco Brothers
The savvy Briscos isolated Volkoff for much of the match with Jack nearly scoring falls after a pair of Rolling Reverse Cradles, but the Iron Sheik broke up the first attempt and Blassie climbed on the apron after the second one to break the count. After some back-and-forth action, Jerry locked in The Figure Four on Volkoff and the big Russian tapped out just as Blassie cracked his cane over Jerry's head.
The British Bulldogs vs The Long Riders ("Wild" Bill Irwin & Scott "Hog" Irwin)
The former Tag Team Champions were putting on a clinic until The Long Riders dipped into their bag of dirty tricks to gain the upperhand with Bill using a bullwhip on Davey Boy and Scott flattening the Dynamite Kid with his steel-toed boots. Davey Boy just beat the count after a double sledgehammer, but wasn't so lucky after Scott hit him with a Jumping Knee Smash to give The Longriders a Countout victory.
Women's Semifinal #2 -- The Fabulous Moolah (with Captian Lou Albano vs Rockin' Robin
In an upset, Rockin' Robin advanced to the Championship match after Moolah was disqualified for hitting her with Brass Knuckles. An irate Albano and Moolah had to be restrained by numerous officials as they vociferously protested the decision, but Commissioner Teddy Long let the verdict stand and announced that Moolah can compete in a No. 1 contender's match against Melina next week.
King Kong Bundy (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan & his personal bodyguard Mr. Hughes) vs Koko B. Ware
Before the match, Heenan promised Solie a preview of what's going to happen to Vader, Garea & Zbyszko next week. A fired-up Bundy hit the ring, but nobody told The Birdman that he was supposed to be fodder. Ware hit three brainbusters on Bundy and ducked an onrushing Mr. Hughes who crashed through the ropes to the arena floor, but the distraction enabled Bundy to roll under the bottom rope and regain his senses. Ware made the fatal mistake of chasing him outside the ring and Bundy hit a powerslam on the arena floor. The ref could've counted to 100 as Ware was out cold, giving King Kong a Countout victory.

Monday Night Mayhem -- Crypto.com Arena (Los Angeles, Calif.) -- Feb. 6, 2023
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan (still on crutches and wearing a neck brace with his personal bodyguard Mr. Hughes lurking behind him) welcome the viewers to Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles for this week's edition of Monday Night Mayhem. Heenan tells Monsoon that his Family will deliver on his promise to obliterate Vader and those other two idiots in tonight's Six-Man Tag main event ... and "Oh yeah, the Tag Team Titles and Women's Championship are also up for grabs tonight." To the action ...
"Rowdy" Roddy Piper (with Bob Orton, Jr.) vs Keith Steinborn
Piper opened the show with a squash, putting away Steinborn with with a flying elbow drop.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage vs Larry Sharpe
Savage topped Sharpe via a flying cross-body block in another squash.
Sgt. Slaughter vs "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan
Hacksaw came out on fire and nearly scored falls after a spinning body slam and a "Tough Guy" clothesline. Slaughter, sensing that he was in trouble, bulldogged Duggan into the ring steps and was disqualified.
Tag Team Championship -- Mark Henry & D'Lo Brown (with Ivory) (c) vs The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James & "Badd Ass" Billy Gunn)
The Outlaws were flying at the opening bell and would've claimed the title if Henry hadn't saved Brown after he was hit with an early pump-handle slam from The Road Dogg. The teams then traded momentum multiple times before the action spilled out of the ring and the champs took charge in what is normally the challenger's domain. Gunn barely beat the count after a World's Strongest Slam on the arena floor, and James later saved him after a Lo'Down. Henry really locked in his Bear Hug on James who valiantly fought his way to his corner to tag in the still reeling Badd Ass, and Gunn (5 tokens) fell victim to a pair of Lo'Downs as Henry & Brown retained their belts.
"Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig vs Bob Backlund (with Arnold Skaaland)
In a one-sided affair, Backlund stopped Mr. Perfect with the crossface chicken wing.
The Magnificent Don Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) vs "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka
Mr. Fuji jumped on the ring apron after Snuka hit a Superfly leap to break the ref's count and then found himself in the crosshairs when he tried to sneak into the ring following a power slam. Snuka chased him back to the lockerroom while Muraco used this time to gather himself. The action never returned to the ring and the Superfly was DQ'd after a low blow to Muraco's coconuts during the brawl.
Women's Championship -- Sensational Sherri vs Rockin' Robin
In an unsatisfying finish, Sensational Sherri became the inaugural Women's Champion after Robin couldn't recover from a Top Rope Splash onto the arena floor.
Commissioner Teddy Long came out to join Monsoon at the announcers' table as Heenan hobbled off to lead his charges in the main event.
Six-Man Tag Team -- Big Van Vader, Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko vs The Heenan Family's Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy & King Harley Race (with DCWF Champion Adrian Adonis, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and his personal bodyguard Mr. Hughes)
Vader dominated the early going, putting a hurting on Studd, but The Heenan Family's constant interference prevented a 3-count. While all six were brawling and the ref was trying to regain control, Heenan handed one of his crutches to Studd who used it to drop Vader. After order was restored, Race put Garea in the swinging neckbreaker then nearly pinned him twice, but Zbyszko intervened. Vader then pressed the attack with Bundy his target this time. It looked like Vader was going to score the fall until a suddenly spry Heenan darted under the ropes and kicked him in the back of the head causing referee Joey Marella to banish Heenan, Hughes and Adonis from ringside. With the odds finally even, Vader continued his assault on Bundy with a shocking superplex and a front slam. Vader then drove the "Walking Condominium" thru the ringside barricade to earn a countout victory as Race & Studd couldn't revive their downed family member.
After the match, the crowd erupted when Commissioner Teddy Long declared that Vader will face Adonis for the DCWF Championship on Friday Night Fury.

Right from the beginning, I felt the Heenan family picked the wrong fight... Perhaps they got a bit overconfident, thinking they were on top in the numbers game... Guess they found out real quick that mastodons don't care about the numbers game... Look out, Adonis... Cuz it's VADER TIME!

Only Race has been able to hold his own vs Vader while he's run roughsod over the rest of them. I'll post that card's results either tonight or tomorrow morning (I have two completed shows that I haven't posted yet).

Friday Night Fury -- Footprint Center (Phoenix, Ariz.) -- Feb. 10, 2023
Gordon Solie welcomes viewers to Footprint Center in Phoenix for a loaded edition of Friday Night Fury that features Hardcore action, a women's No. 1 Contender match, and both the TV and World Championships are up for grabs. To the action ...
The Killer Bees ("Jumping" Jim Brunzell & B. Brian Blair) vs The Love Brothers
The Loves were disqualified after "Horrible" Hartford shoved referee Joey Marella and blasted Brunzell with a steel chair.
George "The Animal" Steele vs Al Snow
Steele took control of a back-and-forth affair by ramming Snow's head into the turnbuckle repeatedly. Snow barely escaped and rolled out of the ring, returning with a metal trash can that he crushed on The Animal's head to earn a disqualification.
Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito (with Captain Lou Albano) vs The Mulkey Brothers
Randy rushed in when Fuji & Saito were doubleteaming Bill in the corner, but the crafty Saito was ready for him and back body dropped Randy over the top rope. Fuji then put an end to the beatdown with a middle-rope splash on Bill.
Hardcore Match -- Rob Van Dam (with Bill Alfonso) vs The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz
The Unpredictable one set the tone for this wild affair with a low blow at the opening bell. Both men took turns delivering chair shots and the brawl spilled over the guard rails and into the crowd before eventually returning to the ring where Rodz delivered another shot below the belt and then smashed the doubled-over Van Dam with a steel pipe. The resilient RVD fought back, however, and eventually scored the fall with a Body Scissors Cradle.
Bruiser Brody vs Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr. (with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper)
In a curious decision, Orton was declared the winner via disqualification after Brody fought off both Orton and Piper in a wild brawl outside the ring that culminated with Brody laying out Piper on the announcer's table and then slamming Orton on top of him (and through the table).
No. 1 Contender Match -- The Fabulous Moolah (with Captain Lou Albano) vs Melina
Moolah controlled the early action, but the debuting Melina nearly claimed a victory by reversing a sunset flip. Moolah kicked out, but was clearly rattled as Melina went on the offensive before Moolah regained her senses and put an end to the match with a jackknife cradle.
TV Championship -- "The Franchise" Shane Douglas (with "Head Cheerleader" Francine) (c) vs Pat Patterson
After surviving a stiff challenge from Bob Backlund in his last defense, the opposition didn't get any easier for The Franchise as he took on the rugged Pat Patterson. But Douglas was up to the challenge and retained the title with a belly-to-belly suplex.
World Championship -- Adrian Adonis (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and his personal bodyguard Mr. Hughes) (c) vs Big Van Vader
The champ locked in Goodnight Irene, but the powerful Vader was able to fight his way to the ropes to escape the hold. Vader then began unleashing his hard-hitting arsenal of moves. The Brain sensed that his man was in trouble and tried to slip him a pair of brass knuckles, but Vader intercepted them and laid out Adonis. Heenan was screaming at referee Dick Woehrle to DQ Vader as Mr. Hughes dragged Adonis out of the ring to recover with Vader hot on their tails. Hughes sidestepped the onrushing Vader and drove him into the ring post. After that, the pace slowed down a bit until Vader hit a front slam and then a Vader Bomb. The rest of the Heenan Family (Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy & King Harley Race) rushed the ring, but Commissioner Teddy Long was having none of it, ordering them all back to the lockerroom and told them to take Heenan and Hughes with them. A stunned Adonis tried to slip away and join them, but Vader caught him and hit a Release Power Bomb to become the new World Champion.

And we have a NEW World Champion... Not a big surprise, but still entertaining.
You've assembled a really fun roster and I'm enjoying the flow of your events... The summaries are near perfect - Not overwhelming, but plenty of details to keep the audience engaged... One thing I might suggest is adding a line of text that provides the actual outcome either at the beginning or the end of each match... It will save time for people that want to know the results at a glance.
Excellent work, my friend... Looking forward to more!

Monday Night Mayhem -- The Pit (Albuquerque, N.M.) -- Feb. 13, 2023
Gorilla Monsoon welcomes the viewers to The Pit on the campus of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque for this week's edition of Monday Night Mayhem while Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is apoplectic over Adrian Adonis losing the title on Friday night and can't believe the referee didn't see Vader using the brass knuckles on Adonis (never mind that Heenan, inadvertently, supplied them) and then has a few choice words regarding Commissioner Teddy Long banning the entire Heenan Family from ringside mid-match. After The Brain's diatribe, Monsoon previews the card that features The Road Warriors vs The British Bulldogs and is headlined by a Polynesian Back Alley Brawl pitting The Magnificent Muraco vs "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka. To the action ...
Hillbilly Jim defeated Frogman Leblanc via submission
The Frogman submitted to Hillbilly Jim's Bear Hug.
S.D. Jones pinned Tom "Rocky" Stone
Following a flying cross-body block from the top rope, Jones used a headbutt to put away Stone.
Leilani Kai (with "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart) pinned Rockin' Robin
Kai finished off Rockin' Robin with a running splash and then Judy Martin joined in and she and Kai administered a beatdown of Robin until Trish Stratus stormed the ring and chased them off.
Barry Windham & Tully Blanchard (with J.J. Dillon) defeated The Brisco Brothers via disqualification
The Briscos were disqualified after Jerry throat-dropped Blanchard on the ringside barricades.
The Sandman pinned Sam Houston
Houston held the upperhand early, but The Sandman fought back and finished him off with a DDT.
The Road Warriors (with Paul Ellering) defeated The British Bulldogs by pin
The teams traded high spots and near falls until the Dynamite Kid was obliterated in the Doomsday Device, giving The Road Warriors a victory over the former champs.
Kurt Angle defeated Val Venis via submission
Angle was all business and just too much for Venis who tapped out to an Ankle Lock.
Commissioner Long comes out and makes an announcement "After reviewing the tapes, there's no denying that Vader used brass knuckles to help him win the championship last week, so I'm ordering an immediate rematch for next Monday night!" The crowd buzzed and Heenan is ecstatic, but his joy is short-lived. "There's also no denying that Bobby Heenan introduced them into the match, so I'm barring The Heenan Family and all other DCWF competitors from ringside for this encounter." As the crowd roars, Long continues "Anyone who defies this edict will be suspended and face dire consequences." A furious Heenan slams down his headset and storms off muttering about how much he hates this commissioner.
Polynesian Back Alley Brawl (no countouts, no disqualifications) -- Don Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) pinned "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka
There were chair shots aplenty in a wild affair that featured more action outside the ring than in it with both combatants sporting Crimson Masks by match's end. Just like in their first encounter, Snuka lost his temper and took a run at Fuji ... and, once again, paid the price for losing his focus as Muraco busted him open with a trash-can lid to end the chase. Superfly recovered and returned the favor, splitting Muraco's forehead wide open after running him into the ring post. The Magnificent One kicked out at 2 9/10 following a Superfly Leap before he regained control by smashing Snuka into the ringside steps. Muraco put an end to the bloody, brutal affair with the Hawaiian Hammer and he and Fuji celebrated their hard-fought triumph.
