Monday Night Mayhem -- FedEx Forum (Memphis, Tenn.) -- Mar. 6, 2023
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan welcome the viewers to the FedEx Forum in Memphis for tonight's edition of Monday Night Mayhem. Heenan has a few more choice words for Commissioner Teddy Long regarding his decision to give Kurt Angle the next DCWF Title shot rather than King Harley Race before Monsoon quickly changes the topic and previews tonight's card headlined by The Sandman's second attempt at wresting the TV Championship from "The Franchise" Shane Douglas' hands. To the action ...
The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine with "Luscious" Johnny Valiant) defeated George South & Nacho Barrera via countout
With Barrera already laid out, The Dream Team emerged victorious after Valentine obliterated South with a suplex off the apron.
No Countouts, No Disqualifications -- "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) vs Larry Sharpe
DiBiase was all business tonight, ending the match with a powerslam before he and Virgil commenced a postmatch beatdown of the helpless Sharpe.
The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff defeated The Long Riders ("Wild" Bill Irwin & Scott "Hog" Irwin) by disqualification
The Long Riders had Volkoff in trouble before Scott took things too far and was disqualified for using his bullwhip on the Russian.
Sensational Sherri defeated Trish Stratus by pin
Stratus held the upperhand early before Sherri wore her down and scored the fall following a series of Top Rope Splashes.
Hillbilly Jim defeated George "The Animal" Steele by disqualification
The Animal was disqualified after he two-arm chokelifted Jim and slammed him through the announcers' table.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz by pin
A patented Macho Man Flying Elbow put an early end to the festivities.
No Holds Barred -- The Magnificent Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) defeated Sam Houston by pin
Muraco unleashed his full arsenal in a thorough beatdown of Houston (5 tokens), earning the fall after a Swinging Neckbreaker.
TV Championship -- "The Franchise" Shane Douglas (with "Head Cheerleader" Francine) (c) defeated The Sandman by pin
The champ hit his Pittsburgh Plunge early in the match before The Sandman seized control with a series of Russian Leg Sweeps that had Douglas (3 tokens) reeling. After a pep talk from Francine, Douglas regained the upperhand and scored several near falls on the resilient Sandman (5 tokens) before finally ending his successful 5th defense with another Pittsburgh Plunge.

Friday Night Fury -- Spectrum Center (Charlotte, N.C.) -- Mar. 10, 2023
Gordon Solie welcomes the viewers to the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C. for tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury that features Vader's first defense of the DCWF World Championship when he faces Kurt Angle. To the action ...
Rockin' Robin defeated Ivory (with DCWF Tag Team champions Mark Henry & D'Lo Brown) by pin
An action-packed opener saw both ladies score near falls before Robin emerged victorious when she caught and powerslammed Ivory after Ivory went for a cross-body block off the top turnbuckle.
Sgt. Slaughter defeated Tom "Rocky" Stone by submission
Stone made the fatal mistake of angering the big Marine by attacking him while offering to shake hands. Slaughter showed no mercy and locked in the Cobra Clutch and wouldn't release it until a host of officials from the back pried him loose.
Al Snow defeated Big John Studd (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) by pin
Snow was again running circles around Studd when he decided to use Head, but this time he got away with it. A furious Heenan took a swing at Snow and was ejected from ringside. While The Brain made his departure, Snow flattened Studd with another shot from Head and got the 3-count.
Barry Windham & Tully Blanchard (with J.J. Dillon) defeated The Brisco Brothers by pin
Windham scored the fall on Jerry following a Sweetwater Suplex, but not before Blanchard had to make the save when Jack had the figure-four locked in on Windham at ring center.
Rob Van Dam (with Bill Alfonso) defeated Pat Patterson via disqualification
After RVD hit a leg drop on the guardrail, Patterson retaliated by skulling him with the timer's bell and was disqualified.
King Kong Bundy (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka by pin
Heenan made up for lost time ringside, inserting himself into the action several times to turn the match in Bundy's favor -- first by tripping up Snuka when he was climbing for a Superfly Leap on the downed big man and then by slipping a foreign object to Bundy who dutifully laid out Superfly with it before hitting his Atlantic City Avalanche for the victory. Post match, Adrian Adonis hit the ring and got in a few cheap shots of his own on Snuka before The Heenan Family beat a hasty retreat when "Macho Man" Randy Savage rushed in to make the save.
"Rowdy" Roddy Piper & Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr. defeated Bob Backlund & S.D. Jones (with Arnold Skaaland) by pin
Backlund got the best of Piper in the early going and S.D. hit a spinning neckbreaker on Orton before the Cowboy laid out Jones with a cast shot for the 3-count.
Heenan and his personal bodyguard Mr. Hughes made their way ringside with Heenan telling Solie that he was there to scout the opposition and there was nothing nefarious about his presence.
World Championship -- Big Van Vader (c) defeated Kurt Angle by pin
Vader was a bit distracted at the opening bell, but quickly turned his focus to his dangerous challenger and got down to business. Angle offered up some resistance but, ultimately, was no match for the champion who retained the title with a Vader Bomb before getting into a shouting match with The Brain.

Big win for Hot Rod and the Ace Cowboy... Despite the questionable finish... But, Backlund didn't eat the fall which makes it a little less satisfying... To say the least. Vader is going to be tough to knock off the mountaintop... Angle certainly doesn't need a mouthpiece in his corner, but maybe someone to help him bend the rules could give him the edge that he needs. Just a thought!

Monday Night Mayhem -- WVU Coliseum (Morgantown, W.V.) -- Mar. 13, 2023
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan welcome the viewers to the WVU Coliseum on the campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown for this week's edition of Monday Night Mayhem that features former DCWF Tag Team Champs The British Bulldogs vs The Killer Bees, Tony Garea and Larry Zbyszko making their singles debuts and The Road Warriors second challenge for the Tag-Team belts. To the action ...
Val Venis defeated Jake "The Milkman" Milliman by pin
Venis squashed Milliman with The Money Shot.
Sam Houston defeated Frogman Leblanc by pin
After offering up some token resistance, Leblanc was flattened by a Houston dropkick.
The Glamour Girls (Judy Martin & Leilani Kai with "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart) defeated Madison Rayne & Melina via disqualification
Rayne crashed out of the ring after a shoulder-dive attempt and was disqualified in the ensuing brawl when she flipped out and threw Kai over the barricade followed by a couple of steel chairs and anything else she could get her hands on.
Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (with "Luscious" Johnny Valiant) defeated Larry Zbyszko by submission
The turning point in an exciting back-and-forth affair came when Zbyszko knocked himself out when he missed a running-clothesline attempt and crashed into the turnbuckle. The opportunistic Valentine then cinched in the Figure Four for the victory.
"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant (with Captain Lou Albano) defeated Tony Garea by pin
Valiant steamrolled Garea, knocking him silly with some roundhouse punches.
The Killer Bees ("Jumping" Jim Brunzell & B. Brian Blair) defeated The British Bulldogs by pin
The Bees unleashed their "masked confusion" to steal a victory from the former champs, with a Bee Sting allowing Brunzell to cover Davey Boy for the 3-count.
Bruiser Brody defeated The Sandman by pin
The resilient Sandman took another beating before finally succumbing to a Brody Jumping Knee Drop.
Tag Team Championship -- Mark Henry & D'Lo Brown (with Ivory) (c) defeated The Road Warriors (with Paul Ellering) by disqualification
D'Lo & Henry still have the gold after an Animal low blow during a wild brawl got the Roadies DQ'd despite Ellering's protests. The champs started fast with Henry hitting a World's Strongest Slam on Animal, but Hawk made the save. It looked like we might have new champs after the L.O.D. hit the Doomsday Device on Henry, but the big man kicked out just in time and then the action spilled out of the ring for the match-ending Pier Sixer.

Friday Night Fury -- Capital One Arena (Washington, D.C.) -- Mar. 17, 2023
Gordon Solie welcomes the viewers to the Capital One Arena in our nation's capital for tonight's edition of Friday Night Fury that features the debut of Too Cool, former DCWF champion Adrian Adonis, The Fabulous Moolah's first defense of her Women's championship and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper vs Bob Backlund. To the action ...
Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Mike Jackson by pin
Hacksaw squashed Jackson with a Flying Spear.
Hillbilly Jim defeated George "The Animal" Steele by submission
Jim squeezed the fight out of The Animal with a Bear Hug.
Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito (with Captain Lou Albano) defeated Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty) by pin
Solie welcomed the DCWF's newest tag team, Too Cool, to Friday Night Fury and they received enthusiastic applause from the packed house, but sadly for them, the interview was their last high spot. Saito put a hurting on Grandmaster Sexay with a pair of suplexes and Fuji ended the match with a Middle Rope Splash on Scotty.
Adrian Adonis (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig by submission
In a surprisingly one-sided affair, Adonis decimated Mr. Perfect with a suplex assortment before putting him out with Goodnight Irene.
The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff (with Classy Freddie Blassie) defeated The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James & "Badd Ass" Billy Gunn) via countout
The Outlaws isolated The Iron Sheik early in the match and would've scored the fall after an Ambush had Blassie not intervened. After regrouping, The Sheik & Volkoff went on the offensive and were rewarded with the victory when James couldn't beat the 10-count following a Volkoff throatdrop on the ringside barricade while The Sheik and Gunn were fighting on the other side of the ring.
Women's Championship -- The Fabulous Moolah (with Captain Lou Albano) defeated Princess Victoria by pin
Moolah's first defense took less time than her ringwalk as she turned back the debuting Victoria with a Jackknife Cradle.
King Harley Race (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated Koko B. Ware by pin
Race put away Ware with a pair of vertical suplexes. Heenan then put DCWF champion Vader on notice, telling him that it's going to be just that easy for The King to beat him again and return the gold to its rightful home in The Heenan Family.
Bob Backlund (with Arnold Skaaland) defeated "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (with Cowboy Bob Orton, Jr.) by disqualification
As in their first encounter, Piper opened the match with a foreign object shot -- this time it appeared to be a spike to the throat -- that left Backlund writhing in agony, struggling for breath. Piper seized the opportunity and really locked in his sleeper, but Backlund wouldn't surrender and eventually fought his way to the ropes to break the hold. While Backlund was collecting himself on the outside, Orton took him down with a running knee lift before tossing him back inside to Piper's waiting arms and a back suplex. When Backlund (5 tokens) kicked out, a frustrated "Rowdy" Roddy tossed him out of the ring where Orton delivered a chair shot, then one on Skaaland for good measure, as the referee called for the bell while Piper joined in trying to stomp the life out of Backlund.

With a decisive win over Mr Perfect, it looks like the bookers have decided to keep Adonis in the mix after having him drop the title to Vader... And some excellent heat has developed in the Backlund vs. Piper program... Another really fun show!

And some excellent heat has developed in the Backlund vs. Piper program... Another really fun show! Thanks. If Race can take down Vader, I may have Adonis get disillusioned by no longer being the Top Dog in the Family and turn Adorable while jumping ship to Jimmy Hart since Hart is only managing Judy Martin and Leilani Kai for me right now. I'd imagine the Piper-Backlund feud is going to rage on for a while. My fed is definitely short on mid-card faces, so I'm going to have to debut a few shortly (I've loved the heels since I was a little kid and definitely skewed my roster too heavy in that direction at startup) ... I'm thinking Wildfire Tommy Rich as one with maybe Eddie Gilbert arriving shortly afterwards and I'll still need a couple others.

Monday Night Mayhem -- Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia, Pa.) -- Mar. 20, 2023
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan welcome the viewers to the Wells Fargo Center in the City of Brotherly Love for this week's edition of Monday Night Mayhem that features a Singapore Cane match between Pat Patterson and local favorite Rob Van Dam, the dastardly Love Brothers vs The Briscos and "The Franchise" Shane Douglas putting his TV Title on the line against "Macho Man" Randy Savage. To the action ...
The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz defeated Keith Steinborn by pin
Rodz finished off Steinborn with a shoulder breaker.
"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka defeated Doctor X by disqualification
The match never really had a chance to develop as Doctor X was caught puling a foreign object from his tights shortly after the opening bell.
Tony Garea & Larry Zbyszko defeated The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine with "Luscious" Johnny Valiant) by disqualification
The Dream Team held the early advantage with Beefcake really taking it to Garea (3 tokens) before things evened out. When Zbyszko covered Beefcake following a facelock sunset flip, Valentine shoved referee Dick Woehrle while breaking up the pin attempt and earned his team a disqualification.
"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) defeated S.D. Jones by submission
DiBiase put Philadelphia's Favorite Son to sleep with The Million Dollar Dream.
The Brisco Brothers vs The Love Brothers ended in a double disqualification
To the surprise of no one, The Loves were DQ'd yet again (5-for-5) after "Rotten" Reginald touched off a wild brawl breaking up Jack Brisco's figure four on "Horrible" Hartford, leading to a double disqualification.
Singapore Cane Match -- Pat Patterson defeated Rob Van Dam by pin (Bill Alfonso was barred from ringside)
The expected wild affair started in the back and spilled into the parking lot where RVD was slammed through a windshield before venturing ringside. Van Dam busted Patterson open with a metal pipe, and Patterson returned the favor with repeated blows from his Singapore Cane before he ended the match with Bombs Away.
The Magnificent Muraco (with Mr. Fuji) defeated Al Snow by disqualification
Snow was in all kinds of trouble before he was DQ'd for blasting Muraco with Head.
TV Title -- "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated "The Franchise" Shane Douglas (with "Head Cheerleader" Francine) (c) by disqualification
The Philly faithful finally scored a pyrrhic victory as Douglas retained his belt when he was disqualified for belly-to-belly suplexing Savage through the announcers' table and then clobbering him with the timekeeper's bell. The crowd roared its approval when DCWF newcomer Rick Rude rushed in and joined Douglas in a brutal beatdown of Savage.
