Sanchez moves him and Del Rey to two points when he lands a running hip attack in the corner on El Hijo Del Ice Cream to get the win, meaning they are just one point away from challenging their own BDK team mates for the Campeonatos de Parejas.

Saturyne def. Juan Francisco de Coronado by count out
The Young Lions Cup champion is being dominated by Saturyne in this one, so he just walks off and gets counted out, instead choosing to argue with fans as he leaves.

Chris Hero and Mike Quackenbush def. Da Soul Touchaz by pinfall
Acid Jaz is on top when Hero lands a surprise Cyclone Kill and wins the match. 

Mysterious and Handsome Stranger def. Kobald by pinfall
Kobald comes to this one alone, with The Batiri and Sinn Bodhi nowhere to be seen. He loses to a Flying Leg Drop.

Osirian Portal def. Unstable by pinfall
Amasis and Ophidian also move on to two points, impressing again when they win with Osirian Sacrament on Vin Gerard.

Jakob Hammermeier comes to the ring with Tim Donst. He says Donst is, without question, the best wrestler on the Chikara roster and will prove that now against anyone who dares challenge him. Reckless Youth answers the challenge.

Hammermeier tries to get involved and help Donst, but cannot save him and Donst loses to a Frog Splash.
Furious at Reckless Youth, Hammermeier suspends him for two whole months, warning anyone else on the roster that they can expect the same punishment should they cross the BDK.

Kikutaro def. Icarus by pinfall
The crowd erupt when Kikutaro scores a win against one of FIST, landing the Shining Kikuzard.

The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield and Mark Angelosetti) def. AC/DC by pinfall
Another team moving to two points, as the BDK have a number of challengers circling now. Hatfield wins with Grand Slam on Corbin.

Eddie Kingston def. Claudio Castagnoli by pinfall
A thrilling main event, Kingston gets a surprise win when he lands Sliding D on Claudio.

Frenetic opening match. Kobald bears the brunt of the attacks and is pinned by Acid Jaz following a Jaz X-Factor
Sinn Bodhi orders Kodama and Obariyon to attack Kobald after the bell. They are hesitant to do so, but Bodhi then has Ultramantis Black do it. Bodhi banishes Kobald from The Batiri, telling him not to bother turning up to King of Trios next month, because Ultramantis Black has now taken his place.

Osirian Portal def. 3.0 by submission
A fantastic tag match, which goes back and forth. Ophidian makes Scott Parker pass out in a Death Grip.
Osirian Portal now have three points and warn BDK they are coming for the Campeonatos de Parejas. They also reveal they have a secret partner for King of Trios next month.

Mysterious and Handsome Stranger def. Sugar Dunkerton by pinfall
The Stranger has the majority of the offence and gets the win with a Flying Leg Drop.

Juan Francisco de Coronado vs Merlok declared no contest
Coronado is dominating, and Merlok has twice escaped the Coronado Clutch when they are both attacked by a giant trio. 
Sidney Bakabella introduces himself and says his team, Devastation Corporation, will be entering King of Trios.

BDK (Sara del Rey and Pinkie Sanchez) def. AC/DC by pinfall
Sara Del Rey is intent on getting the win - which takes her and Sanchez to three points and gives them a shot at the titles held by their stablemates - indicating all may not be well in the ranks of the BDK. She destroys Arik Cannon and then pins Darin Corbin following a Royal Butterfly.

Ares wins with a Tiger Driver on Private Eye.

Los Ice Creams def. Heidi Lovelace and Saturyne by pinfall
Ice Cream Jr dodges a shoulder to the gut in the corner and rolls down Lovelace's back - shouting weeeeee! as he goes - and getting the pin.

Bryan Danielson def. Colt Cabana by submission
The two are embroiled in a heated rivalry now, beating each other senseless. While Colt has the more meaningful offence, he cannot end things. This allows Danielson to win with a Triangle Choke.

The BDK come to the ring to open the show. Jakob Hammermeier tells the crowd there is business they must attend to and so, in his role as Director of Fun and on behalf of the BDK, he is telling them they can all shut their mouths while this is done. The crowd boo him loudly. Claudio Castagnoli takes the mic and brags about his and Ares' Campeonatos de Parejas reign. However, he says there are now numerous teams circling them, waiting for one mistake and then they will pounce. But, he wants to address one specific team right now. Tursas grabs Sara Del Rey and Pinkie Sanchez and forces them into the middle of the ring. Claudio says he knows they would not be dumb enough to actually challenge the leaders of the BDK, because if they did then he and Ares would be forced to take drastic action. Jakob demands an answer from them, but neither will commit either way. Ares warns them they are being watched and then tells them to leave the ring now and think about their positions.

The debuting Baltic Seige get off to a losing start, when Delirious pins the Estonian Thunder Frog following a Praying Mantis Bomb.

The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield and Mark Angelosetti) def. Men at Work (Private Eye and Mister Zero) by pinfall
Dasher and Mr Touchdown move to three points as well, with the Grand Slam Dunk on Private Eye.
The Throwbacks' win not only moves them to three points, but also sees them qualify for King of Trios

Mike Quackenbush def. Kikutaro by pinfall
Kiku takes things slow motion during the match, but it doesn't help and Quack wins with the Quackendriver.

Roughnecks def. Super Smash Bros by pinfall
A diving crossbody by Grizzly Redwood on Uno gives them the win, while Dos is booted off the apron by Brodie Lee.

Chris Hero def. Jigsaw by pinfall
Jigsaw suffers another loss at the hands of Hero. He shows his resilience, but still can't get the win and is pinned following a third Cyclone Kill.
Mike Quackenbush comes out and reveals he and Hero will be teaming up with a great man for King of Trios, and making them the favourites to win the tournament - that man is Bryan Danielson! Quackenbush says Jigsaw has no friends left and won't be entering the tournament this year.

Taylor takes the victory with a crossbody on Kodama.

The Colony def. Devastation Corporation w/Sidney Bakabella by disqualification
The ants manage a big Ant Hill on Blaster McMassive, but Mr Bakabella isn't going to allow his team to go down like this and hops into the ring to attack Fire Ant with his briefcase, leading to the disqualification.
Jakob Hammermeier comes out and says as Director of Fun he is ordering a rematch in the opening contest of King of Trios next month!

This one is a total squash, and a real low point for The Colony. Max Smashmaster lands the decisive blow, crushing Green Ant with a massive moonsault.

BDK (Tursas, Tim Donst and Delirious) def. 3.Ole! by pinfall
This one was a truly incredible trios match and really signalled the proper beginning of the tournament. Everyone had at least one near fall against them, but Donst managed to move the BDK on with an SDT on Generico.

Osirian Portal def. Mike Quackenbush, Chris Hero and Bryan Danielson by pinfall
Following up a brilliant match, we have the shock of the first round. Amasis wins with the Egyptian Conniption on Quack.

British Strong Style def. Team Pazuzu by pinfall
Pazuzu do dominate this one, but Bate lands a Tyler Driver '97 on Ortiz in desperation and gets the pin.

The Beautiful People def. FIST by pinfall
Madison Rayne beats Johnny Gargano with the Rayne Check.

The Latvian Proud Oak puts Kiku away with the Tree Top Drop.

Sara Del Rey and Pinkie Sanchez come to the ring. Sara says Claudio and Ares castle is coming crumbling down, and tomorrow night they will beat them for the Campeonatos de Parejas. The BDK come out and Tursas attacks them both, while Claudio and Ares stand tall over them with the titles.

Sinn Bodhi is angrily berating The Batiri for losing, when Kobald appears. He goes to the top rope and lands a massive crossbody when Bodhi turns around.

Fire Ant def. Grizzly Redwood, Jigsaw and Matt Cross
- Jigsaw eliminates Cross with the Jig'n'Tonic
- Redwood eliminates Jigsaw when he hits The Woodchipper
- Fire Ant moves on to the final after a Leaping Kick to Redwood.

Eddie Kingston def. Mysterious and Handsome Stranger by pinfall
After three backfists, the Stranger starts marching around the ring. Kingston pauses, before landing a brutal fourth backfist to win.

Colt manages to get a win back on Danielson, pinning him after a second Colt.45.

Another superb trios match on an exciting weekend. Whenever the Beautiful People have BDK in trouble, Tursas is able to overpower them and save the day. Delirious pins Love following a Praying Mantis Bomb.

The tournament is delivering on match quality and this one is no different. Blaster McMassive sends his team on to the semi-finals when he plants Flamita with a sit-out chokeslam.

BDK (Sara Del Rey and Pinkie Sanchez) def. BDK (Ares and Claudio Castagnoli) (c) by disqualification 
- Claudio and Pinkie have a brutal back and forth as the first fall comes to a head, which Claudio takes when he locks on the Inverted Chikara Special.
- Del Rey fires up and swiftly wins the second fall to even the score, when she lands the Royal Butterfly on Ares.
- Desperation sets in, with Claudio and Ares' title reign and the future of the BDK under threat, so Ares grabs the title belts, chucks one to Claudio and they attack Del Rey and Sanchez just as the bell rings for the third fall to get disqualified.
The Throwbacks appear to make the save. Dasher Hatfield says they also have three points and will have their shot at the titles tomorrow night!
