I am not sure about a Gladiator Civil War with older Gladiators. The seeds were possibly planted for a conflict between Apex and Siege for Aethran Minister of War.Also if I remember correctly Havoc is well versed in Espionage and being a spy.I believe he could also play some part in what's going on with the Gladiators.

I feel like this could be a route: New Guard Siege Havoc Apex Aethran Female #1 Old Guard Aethran Overmaster Disaster Fist Aethran Female #2 I mean why not? Didn't everyone feel like Disaster's run was super short? Do we really think Aethran Overmaster is done in the GWF with an unceremonious move out? Also what about a certain original gladiator?

I do not see a full-on team civil war but a one on one or tag team vs tag team might happen.
Of course, I like to play Devil's Advocate from time to time. So, I would like to point out we could have a very large team vs team civil war without adding any new cards. Just give each team a few Aethran Soldiers lol

Or the Gladiators invade somewhere else like Titan and another planet and force an Alliance between a few teams. It has been hinted at Shayne and Scorn facing the Gladiators, perhaps the Basilisk,Bloody Marry.I think somehow Shayne will be the top main event sort of anti-hero face in 2139.

Handbook is in final stages and next step is to send to Tom R for official set up.
Cards are in official form (the way I need to see them to spot changes I want to make). This set is challenging for stats on the cards for reasons that I will discuss with loyal promoters after release.
Promoter Prime releases for July also coming along.
End game is here (not that Endgame!).

Hey there Malicelover! Teaser season for 2139 will begin next Monday with the KENJI card art and announcement that was sneak previewed at our last virtual con or maybe something different and then Kenji later, not sure of the order. But then every Monday until GalactiCon! I don't like to spoil too much stuff (and most fans don't either) but the hype is half the fun and promoters that don't like too much info can choose not to read.
I'm so excited for the release and to start playing again.

Somehow I'm up to 29,000 words in the handbook. My goodness.
Many exclamation marks being changed to periods. I remember when comic books had ALL sentences end in exclamation marks. Even Aunt May saying things like, "I feel a cold coming on!" or "I went to the supermarket today!"
Also turning my attention to three Promoter Prime cards that relate to 2139 although they are not absolutely necessary for playing. I plan on using them, they add some layers of depth, but this is up to game fans. It's up to you, promoter!
The only thing more shocking that ORIGINS 2139 is what's coming after that!
Incredible, this ride never ends!
Exclamation mark!

The greatest thing about any Filsinger set is wondering what's coming next.

The question is, will the handbook also be available in hardcover? I mean, 29,000 words.
