Isn't the hint that Aethran Overmaster just disappeared almost like he was sent packing? I just think there is more to that story, and I cannot believe that Aethran Overmaster just got a polite brush off without a press conference or some dastardly attack that the Aethrans are known for to end his reign.

in 2118 the most recent Centra set, there actually is a current Gladiator civil war on Centra:

Gladiators of Aethra (Malice, Overkill, and Rumble)

vs

Prime Gladiators (Minister of War, Mayhem Unleashed, and P12)

Next week I might do Kenji, he has to be an official preview at some point and some game fans that didn't attend the virtual con and aren't active on this board might not have seen it yet.

BUT TONIGHT! I wanted something new for loyal promoters tonight.

The official teaser season begins tonight and things are gonna get hot! This set has so many STORIES and plenty of CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT that it took nearly 30,000 words to tell it all in the handbook!

I love ORIGINS 2139 and am eager to share.

I love the teaser for Burning Man.I am wondering what team he will end up on and what his new power set will be.It is far-fetched but what if the Gladiators nuked Castillex upon leaving and attacked several other planets like Earth and Titan.Would this force a super team to form to try to run them out of the GWF?

Hey gang! We've released sneak previews for 3 of the cards (out of 13 total, 10 in the regular set and 3 in PP). They have been Kenji, Burning Man, and today it was Quagmire.

I really like Quagmire, a different kind of AniMan and Tempest's answer to battling the Gladiators on their terms.

I wrestled with the name for a while and I like it because the definition of the word quagmire fits the character perfectly. I only learned later that this is also the name of a character on Family Guy, a show I don't watch. This was frustrating to me but I kept the name anyway. Like I said, the character fits the two main definitions of the word:

1. A soft boggy area of land.
2. A complex or hazardous situation.

So I stuck with it!

ORIGINS 2139 is coming soon! The new handbook looks like 68 pages so be sure to set aside plenty of time for reading and playing! You know there MUST be a lot going on for the handbook to be so big! I even surprised myself. We'll try to keep mistakes at a minimum, but you know us---nothing is ever perfect!

But we try hard. Our hearts are in the right place, true believers, just like yours.

Hi!

There are a few familiar names in the game, as I've stated before:

Xenia: Xena (Xena Warrior Princess);

Barnabas: Barnabas Collins (Dark Shadows);

Willow: Willow Rosenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer);

Atman/Antman, Anivar/Avatar, etc.


So don't worry about Quagmire! If a name bothers me, I change them, LOL!

Can't wait for 2139 and GCon!
