That's a good point, for context what was the word count on 2138?

The question is, will the handbook also be available in hardcover? I mean, 29,000 words. I am just hoping that we don't have to go spiral-bound on this one.

To my memory previous handbooks have been from 20,000 to 23,000 words (the latest ones that is, obviously 2088 would be a flyer by comparison). The 2139 handbook doesn't SEEM any different to me. Somehow the words added up though.
Imagine the size of a COTG omnibus if someday ALL the handbooks are collected in one volume (it would probably have to be several volumes).

I am looking forward to a larger handbook.I don't mind at all.Origins has been my favorite storyline COTG wise as of late.I am wondering if Havoc's old girlfriend Alpha Female's fate will be revealed? As well as the Minister of War and Turmoil and Paralyze.I still say Havoc reappearing wasn't a coincidence.I can't wait to see how it plays out and what is next.

I don't think every wrestler needs their fate spelled out and at some point, I'd prefer more new names and fewer old one trotting into the fed but we'll see what Tom has in mind.

We can learn the fate of older wrestlers without having a new card. Sometimes it is good to not know as it can be up to the promoter on what happens but other times it should be eventually covered. Depends on how big a part of the fed they were in the past and how big a story they had going on. A bit of closure on some stories can be a good thing.

Well we know that Paralyze battling it out in Kronos, however, the fate of Aethran Overmaster is much less clear. Gosh, a Civil War, 40 years after the last one almost makes too much sense, which is probably why it won't happen. However, a guy can dream.

People use these anniversaries way too much. However, one major difference with Civil War was that we definitely got a hint in 98 that something was coming unlike 38, so if Tom Civil Warred in 39 it'd be out of nowhere which is not his usual style.
Then again, nothing stopping promoters from doing their own Civil War if they want one.
