First watched on TV was Nikolai Volkoff against Haystack Calhoun...
In real life, first in person was Al Madril vs. Hector Geurrero pre-WCCW boom

I'm not sure having Party Marty at the Hall is a positive. But I suppose I could say the same for Chad.

I'm not sure having Party Marty at the Hall is a positive. I think Marty Jannetty still lives here in Las Vegas? There was a time when Jannetty was booked to do a seminar at FSW. But I was told that Jannetty showed up so drunk they could not use him and FSW has not booked him since even though he lived in Las Vegas.

My first memory of pro-wrestling was watching with my grandfather and this scary bald cape wearing German, who I must have thought was Dracula because he scared the crap out of me. I've had the great pleasure of relaying to the one and only Baron von Raschke this memory and then having the claw put on me. Met a lot of different wrestlers over the years, but easily the Baron is far and away my favorite. Seeing him every year at the Hall in Waterloo transports me back to watching wrestling with my grandfather. Good memories.

Another great episode.
My first match I can remember watching was Mr Fuji & Mr Saito beating the Strongbow brothers after Fuji throwing Salt in one of the Strongbow's eyes.
First match I saw live was at IWCCW show at the Polish-American Club in Yardville, NJ in the early 90's, couldn't find the actual card on Cagematch for this event, but I do know the Main Event was Tito Santana vs Greg the Hammer Valentine. Manny Fernandez, El Primo Canara III, Tommy Dreamer & the Tasmaniac all appeared on the card.
I'm all in on the Grunt! the Wrestling Movie set!

Hey, I forgot to weigh in on the hot topic that so many others have added to the thread. My first live match was for Dick The Bruiser's WWA between "Nature Boy" Ric Fury (who kind of looked more like Rip Oliver) and Calypso Jim, who went on to be known as Bob Brazil Jr. Main event of that show was Dick The Bruiser and Yukon Moose Cholak vs Dr Jerry Graham Jr and Bulldog Don Kent. Bobo Brazil was also on the show.
My parents' idea was "let's take them to one of these cheaper shows to see if they like it before spending money on WWF", and that was a real happy accident because we got to see Dick The Bruiser and Bobo Brazil. And all of these decades later I suppose I kind of enjoyed the show.

3 things from me:
Apparently my first ever live match was The Natural Butch Reed defeating Outback Jack at Nassau Coliseum in January 1988.
The easter egg running down Roll Up and Sam will not be tolerated!
It was me who ended up signing Bryan Danielson at Chikara King of Trios 2019 and thanks to the late great Lyle Williams there is photographic evidence.

Been nice if there had been a 19 KOT. But thanks for one of the great signings for the game.

It wasn't the opening match on the card, but the first match live i remember is Tito Santana defending the IC title against Jesse Ventura in Detroit. Crowd was about 50/50 for the two, with dueling chants of "Tito, Tito" and "Jesse, Jesse."

I do remember seeing Lyle's photo now that you've reshared it. And forgive me for the Easter egg! I will buy you a beverage in Waterloo.
